Originally was going to change regulator valve, as it would not work consistently on first visit, but they got shipped wrong part. As a last try, Doug cleaned existing part, worked with it and got it going after some effort. So far, so good. New part was returned. Thank you Doug for making the effort..

A few years ago we bought a house with a small gas wall fireplace. We wanted to have it serviced to make sure it was in good working order. They charged $250 to come out and take it all apart and clean and adjust it. When they put it back together it looked better than before. We also bought a remote start, so now we have a remote control and I can turn the fire on and off from across the room, which is super handy if I have a sleeping cat on my lap. :)

Very well. Fireplace is like new again.

I had a couple problems with the remote and The control box and they came back twice right away and fix the problem

Technician arrived on time - called beforehand - put down protective sheets and got to work. Completed quickly, cleanly and comprehensively. A job well done. Would use again and recommend to others.

I would recommend using The Fireplace Guys. He was punctual, professional and hard working. The fireplace looks great and he left our house clean.

They cleaned everything but issue was not resolved they came back checked chimney showed that it was cleaned n stayed unti the detectors went off it was my furnace but the fact that they go above and beyond and peace of mind was worth it!!! Mark, Doug, Derrick and Mike were great,

They responded to my request promptly and sent me multiple text messages confirming and reminding me of our appointment. I also received a message the day of when they were 15 min away. They arrived during the allotted time frame. They were very nice and professional and clean. I will absolutely use them again.

Serviceman was very polite, neat, and professional. The cost was a more than expected, perhaps because he had to order a part and had to return to install it.

They let me know when they would arrive at the start of the arrival window via text message and were prompt (~ 20 min into 2 hour arrival window). Took off shoes and brought in cloths to cover floor. While onsite, provided information about conversion to gas fireplace (at my request), took measurements, recommended the type of gas conversion unit that was likely to work best in my fireplace and explained why. Guys were friendly and respectful. Packaged up equipment neatly - not a trace that they were there. Would definitely hire again.

Derek came within the time frame promised. He was very professional and even took off his shoes before coming in without me asking. He was knowledgeable and gave me some valuable information about my model and upkeep. He also gave me some information about fireplace solutions for the new place we just bought. When the time comes I definitely plan to give the fireplace guys a call. There were no hidden/extra charges and Derek did not rush the job. As a bonus, he was kind to my pets which was nice. Job was done as promised (no more buzzing!) and he left the place neater than he found it. Thank you! I will use you guys again.

They were excellent. The price was what I expected. He showed me how to use the remote and made sure that I understood how that remote works. They are very professional. They do a wonderful job. They make sure you understand how teh fireplace works. I would recommend them to anyone.

Derek came on two occasions and was very helpful and professional. It looks like installing a new fireplace won't work, and he advised that the leak is likely not due to our existing fireplace, so he got nothing out of this. That shows his honesty and professionalism.

Overall, the Fireplace Guys (Derek) were incredible to work with. In all the various house projects I have done over the years, I have never had anyone respond as quickly as him. From the very beginning, Derek was very informative, professional, and polite. He looked at the fireplace and chimney and basement carefully at the time of the estimate. He helped with the decision making. The install took longer than expected, but still done in one day. PROS: Derek carried 3 lines of fireplace companies to choose from. Very quick to respond. He came out quickly when I was concerned about an issue that was resolved after the installation. Experienced. Kept the area around the installation clean. Came within the time frame he scheduled. CONS: Not Derek's fault, but I was surprised that the unit was smaller than I imagined (the glass portion). In order to install a fireplace insert, a plumber and possibly an electrician are required. He works as a team with a plumbing co. and an electrician if the customer does not have a preference. The plumbers were great and knew exactly what to do. The electrician had issues keeping with the schedule (no showed, very late, or took longer than expected). The fireplace fan is louder than expected. Overall, we are very happy with the insert, and have been using it everyday for the last few months. Obviously, winter is very busy for them and other fireplace co. Best to get it done at other seasons.

With an appointment window of 7am to 9am, Derek arrived at almost 7am on a Sunday morning. He got right to work, and was very diligent in every aspect - removing his shoes, covering the floor, vacuuming as he dusted, cleaning the glass, and clearing out the birds and nests that had taken up residence in the vent. He was very engaging and patient with my daughter who was full of questions as he worked. Cost was in keeping with his hourly rate and actually was less than I anticipated. Would highly recommend and use again.

It's like brand new! Derek was incredibly professional, clean, and hard working. We couldn't be more pleased with his work.

I wish every service provider was as good as these guys! Quick call back and came out to service fast. Fixed, cleaned and installed a new remote on our aging fireplace. They explained to me all I need to know about the fireplace that was new to me and got it working great. I plan on using them for general maintenance, any issues that may come up and installation of a new unit if needed.

Derek cleaned and serviced the 15+ year old Majestic gas fireplace...cleaning was done while taking care to keep the living room clean and all service-able parts were tested/maintained. No further work was required.

All went well, very professional service, excellent workmanship (good clean-up) and quick to repair the gas fireplace, had to replace ignition/pilot burner. Took approximately 2-hours from start to finish.

The technician (Derek) arrived on time, removed his shoes without being asked, quickly diagnosed and resolved the issue, and offered recommendations for future maintenance.
