This guy will call you back and communicate promptly and professionally; a rare and welcomed change from many general contractors. We had a great experience with Matt the GC from Green Valley, he is very hands on, nice, professional and more importantly thorough. On the human side and getting to know him he is a dedicated father with a few little kids and with that dedication comes responsibility in and out of the workplace; and it shows.

Matt, with Green Valley Construction, was an amazing contractor to work with throughout our basement renovation! He spent numerous hours working with us to design the floor plan of our new basement which included closet locations, types of closets, bathroom design, and a bar design. Matt consistently provided good suggestions and various resolutions to any obstacles we came across throughout the project. Also, Matt hand-crafted beautiful barn doors for our renovation to make our basement the rustic appearance we were looking to accomplish. He hand-crafted an amazing sliding pocket barn door that we absolutely love! He also built a beautiful rustic bar for our renovation. Matt is a perfectionist and always makes sure the end result of his work is top-notch! Lastly, Matt was always very responsive anytime we had a question or concern about the project. He consistently went above and beyond in making our basement renovation come out above our expectations! Matt even put in extra time on the weekends to make sure the job was getting done.

Not only was Matt very responsive with my initial inquiry, he continued to be in almost constant contact throughout the project. His quote was below others we received and he outlined what the money would be spent on and was very clear and honest about the work. Once we decided to move forward with Green Valley, Matt kept us posted on the timeline for the project and was super helpful in explaining all of our options. He did great work and we are thrilled with the outcome!

We hired Green Valley to put in a coffee station and enlarge our kitchen island. We are very happy with the quality of the work, and the price was quite reasonable. There were some delays on the project but mainly these were caused by other parties. The only issues I would raise were on the project management side--reacting to problems rather than anticipating them in advance. Still I appreciate that Matt & co took a can-do attitude to eventually solve all of the problems.

We hired Green Valley Construction to gut and renovate a full bath; tile and put in new sink and toilet in a 1/2 bath; and tile a breezeway. Matt's prices were fair and did not exceed the estimate. He was very responsive throughout the whole job. The work completed was done well and we are happy with the final outcome. I would definitely recommend and hire Green Valley Construction for future jobs!

Matt was amazing! We’ve had other major renovation projects done on our house, and Matt by far was the best contractor we have ever worked with. He was extremely responsive, punctual and professional. He kept us updated on every aspect of our project and requested our input at key points throughout the process. For example, we wanted sliding barn doors installed in a slightly unconventional space and Matt worked tirelessly to make them look and work perfectly. In any major project, there are bound to be some issues, and Matt was responsive and quickly resolved all of our concerns. We have several future projects imagined and can’t wait to work with him again. In addition to being a great contractor, Matt and his team (especially Vern) were a delight to have around, friendly and approachable. Highly recommended!

I can't speak highly enough about Matt and Anthony. My wife and I needed to add a galley kitchenette and close off the first floor of a split level. We didn't have much space with which to work, which provided a lot of challenges. Matt was honest, fair, and was always very responsive to ensure the work went smoothly. Great work and already have a few more things to take care of for them soon enough this year.

We hired Matt and his team to perform a complete gut/remodel of our very outdated bathroom. We are extremely happy with how the bathroom turned out. Matt was very flexible with our start date and the project was completed much faster than we had expected. Matt was exceptionally responsive to answering emails and texts and he and his team were punctual each and every day throughout the project. This was the first major renovation we’ve had done to our house and we therefore had several questions throughout the process. Matt always answered these questions honestly and promptly. Matt and his team worked flexible hours in order to finish the project well within our desired timeline. We are especially happy with the carpentry and tiling work that was done. Throughout the process, Matt also had many great ideas to improve the overall functionality of the bathroom, such as adding two built-in niches into the shower as well as well as a built-in storage space in one of the walls. We would highly recommend Green Valley Construction to anyone looking to have any sort of remodeling done to their home!

Excellent - Matty and his team were professional, clean and always on time. It required a significant amount of demo but his team made sure to protect the surrounding areas. Once the demo was finished, Matty was upfront and honest about any additional work that needed to be done as a result of poor carpentry by the previous builder. To accommodate our timeline, his team even traveled to our condo during a snowstorm to keep the project on time. All of our neighbors within the building were impressed with his work and professionalism and will be seeking out his services for similar projects. Also, we utilized and he honored the $500 coupon available for the project. Overall, extremely happy with our new fireplace!

Green Valley Construction was great to work with. Matt was very responsive throughout the project and made sure that we were happy with the craftsmanship and design decisions throughout the project. The subcontractors that Matt used were all great including the plumber, electrician, plasterers, and tiler. The space turned out exactly as envisioned and we are very happy with the work that was done.

We just finished a remodel of our kitchen and bathroom with Matt Brooks and Green Valley Construction. We have a small house and were looking to make the room work better for us. Matt opened up a load bearing wall that separated our kitchen and living room. This allowed us to redesign the kitchen layout. While we didn't add actual square footage to our home, Matt's work and suggestions really opened the space and really is such an improvement. He also completely renovated our only bathroom. The turnaround was actually a lot quicker than we anticipated and the work was done very well. His entire crew was professional and friendly. It was actually a pleasure having Matt and Co. around the house. Not only is his work fantastic but he's a great guy as well, which actually makes the whole home renovation process a lot more enjoyable. Extremely well. As with any old buildings we ran into some snags with old electric and such but all were handled quickly and correctly.

Could not have asked for a job to go as smooth as this went .he gave Me a finish date before he started and I could see how egar Matt was to stand by his word.excelent with his hands and I highly recommend Matt for anyone in the future

Working with Matt was like someone waved a magic wand on our dining room. From the day he came for the estimate to the time the project was finished was just a couple days. Of course the work was done well, but the thing I keep mentioning to friends when I recommend Green Valley is how great the communication, the punctuality, the cleanliness, and the overall work ethic was. There are far too many horror stories about contractors taking forever, not answering calls, adding on costs, etc. Matt at Green Valley is the ideal contractor. I have a long list of home projects and we'll continue to hire him back.

Green Valley took the extra stuff we threw at them in stride and were super responsive always and really prioritized us due to our tight timeline. Our kitchen turned out amazing as did the basement and the laundry worked out great. We feel like we got an entirely new house. We were also very happy with the electrician and plumber that they brought in as we needed extensive work in those departments as well.

Matt did a great job on custom built ins and wood work in our laundry and office. He also did some wood work in our laundry area.

Green valley construction came on time and in just a few days installed our new kitchen cabinets in our rental unit perfectly. Mr. Brooks put in the new countertops as well and did a great job! He tidied everything up after each day he was working.
