US Tile

Luiz called me immediately after contact through Angies list to schedule a day to see the floor. He showed up right on time and, after inspected the sub-floor, made recommendations on how we could reinforce the floor ourselves to save money. He scheduled the install quickly so that we could move forward on our kitchen remodel. He showed up first thing in the morning on the scheduled day. He installed the floor in one day and grouted the next. He called me on the first day after seeing the grout color we purchased and recommended a different color that he thought would work better. He sent pictures and we agreed that the new color would be the nicer choice. He picked up the supplies needed without a complaint. The color looks perfect with the tile, which saved me a lot of grief. He was also very neat. The job was sweep and all trash bagged. When my house is ready i will be hiring him to install a kitchen glass tile back-splash, mosiac bathroom floor and glass tile shower surround.

Luiz did a great job in a short amount of time. He was well organized, professional and left the work site very clean. I would happily use him again. If he's available, I would recommend him - he is the 3rd tiler I have used, and by far the best.

Luiz was great -- very professional and punctual and did high quality work installing our porcelain tile floor and mosaic backsplash. He was able to start the project within 2 weeks of providing the estimate. Always showed up on time and was very clear about potential issues upfront.

We are very happy with the work done by US Tile. The price was right and the quality was good. Luiz and his helper were very professional and maintained a clean work area. Communication was great throughout the process and Luiz even reached out to make sure my wife was happy when she got home from work. He also can provide helpful recommendations when he comes to quote the job. I will definitely recommend these guys to others and use again in the future.

We had a wonderful experience with Luiz and US tile. Extremely professional and skilled! The backsplash they installed came out great, and Luiz had great advice about laying out the tile, you can tell he's very experienced. We did a marble subway tile with a marble hexagon feature (framed with pencil tile) over the stove, and love the results. We will use them for all of our future tiling needs.

Luiz came a few days before to give us an estimate and the date when he could do the job. He was punctual for the estimate and the day the job was done. He protected the carpet and hallways, they did a great job. We had water damage behind the tiles. He had to replace wood and insulation. They did demolition, tile, grout and clean up, all in 1 day! Fantastic! I would strongly recommend him and also use his business again.

Luiz and his helper were professional and punctual and friendly. They installed a back splash in the kitchen. I then asked Luiz to repair damages that were caused by the general contractor, when the general contractor took down a wall. Luiz offered suggestions, for the repairs. He was very informative. He was able to make the repairs. He was able to install the backsplash, threshold and replace the tiles in one day. Definitely my go to tile man. A pleasure to do business with.

Luiz was prompt on providing an estimate and provided a fair estimate for the work to be performed. Once work began, he arrived daily at the time he informed us of. He was very helpful and attentive to the questions and concerns we had and provided great suggestions for the tile layout. He was also very helpful on selecting our grout color. We initially chose grout that was too dark for our tiles. Thankfully, Luiz had grout samples to help with the proper color selection. Overall, Luiz and his assistant provide exceptional service, great work and we are very happy with the results. And to add, he followed up the day after work was completed with a phone call to make sure my wife was pleased with the results since she wasn't there on the final day.

Luiz was very punctual and good at advising us of the problem with our bathroom floor. He and his assistant were very pleasant and seem to know what they were doing. They did the job very quickly and efficiently. However, I thought the cost was a bit on the high side. Overall, I was very happy Luiz could help us. A nice guy.

Luiz provided an estimate a couple of days after contacting him about the job. He was very prompt, courteous and professional. He said he was able to do the job in a few days, however, because of the holiday we pushed it off a week and he gave us another date. Luiz arrived for the job on time, covered up all the carpets to keep the house clean and promptly laid the tile and grouted the seams. He did a great job cleaning the new tile and all the carpets. Luiz also has a very efficient, courteous and hard working helper. I would recommend him for any other tile job.

Luiz was extremely prompt in responding to our initial request for a quote - on a Sunday. He gave a reasonable initial quote, and then discovered a larger problem on his first day on the job. He was able to react quickly and reasonably, helping us get a plumber on site that evening so he could proceed with the job. He was helpful in giving us tips along the way, and the resulting job looks great, drains properly and we now feel confident that the larger problem is now resolved. His communication before, during and after the job was spot on as well.

Other tile people I called didn't want to bother with such a small job. Luiz was willing to tackle it and he did an excellent job. He completed the work in the time promised. He had even found new tiles to replace a few cracked ones - not easy considering the color and age of the original tiles. There was a bit more clean-up than I had expected, but considering the price and quality of the completed work, it was worth it.

Luiz was fantastic! He came out to quote the project within days of contacting him, scheduled to do the work within a very reasonable time frame, and most importantly, did an excellent job installing the tile in my shower. The project came out beautiful and I would definitely use US Tile again.

He was very prompt and responsive. He gave great feedback about my design decisions and made a suggestion for how to tile the window that made the room look even better.

On July 20th, Luiz's friend, Cain, came with his crew and took out my old wood floor. Then, Luiz came the next day and installed the tile in two days. After that, Cain came back and put back all of the appliances and baseboards. The whole thing took 3 ½ days, and I have a beautiful black and white marble and granite tile floor. It looks great! Cain, from Kitchen Works, charged $1,200 to take the floor and appliances out and put the appliances and woodwork back. Luis charged $4,655 for the tile and labor. The whole thing was $5,855. Luiz was reliable and responded quickly to texts or phone calls. He listened to my ideas, and he even helped me figure out what kind of tile would work the best. I am very happy with the job.

The entire process was quick and simple. He showed up on time to do the estimate and was prompt in turning it around. We scheduled the time for him to do the installation and he was there right on time. He cleaned up the job site and the results are excellent.

Luiz is an experienced tile guy who knows his business. With tile, you never know the extent of the job until you get into it. My job already had several tiles fall off the wall. Once he started working, a lot more came off, and the sheet rock had to be replaced as well. Luiz and his helper work fast. He doesn't waste time running around town looking for supplies. He has everything he needs in his truck. He and his helper started early. Ripped all the old stuff off down to the studs - put on new sheet rock, and were finishing the job by mid afternoon. He knows his business but is not the cheapest guy around. $120 was for materials, the rest for labor. If you want a small company where the guy who gives you the estimate is the guy who does the work - Luiz is your guy. He knows tile. All refuse was removed and the bathroom left clean for my tenant.

Luiz returned my call promptly, gave estimate within a couple days, did the work within 2 days of contacting him. Found my tile and he picked up up (got additional discount). Showed up on time - did all the work in a day (him and assistant) took care to keep house clean - Looks great - very happy. Very responsive through calls, text and emails.

Went well Luiz help us choose tile and had suggestions for paint colors for us after the tact. Couldn't be happier. This was second job he did for us. He was eager to please and not complacent at all.

I called Luiz at U.S. Tile after seeing he had very good reviews on Angies list. He came out the next day to look at the job, and gave us a very fair estimate for installing tile in four bathrooms (three shower walls and four bathroom floors). He worked with us on the scheduling to accommodate our needs and did all four bathrooms in a week. The job came out very nicely and Luiz was very prompt, professional and courteous and we will use him again when we renovate our kitchens next year. It makes all the difference in the world hiring someone who specializes in tile instead of a general contractor who "can do" tile and his work shows that.

Luiz called back right away and scheduled at time to come out and look at the bathroom floor downstairs. He arrived on time and he is quite friendly - very likable. He quoted a price for $800.00. I told him I was looking at the travertine tile at Fitzgerald Tile and he he replied great, since he could get discount. He said just pick it out and he would take care of the rest. I went to Fitzgerald Tile picked out the grout and the tile and he was on the phone in an instant with them, so I got the discount. He said he would swing by and pick up the tile. Another big plus because some contractors make you bring the materials yourself to the house. The job was finished in a day. The tile was laid beautifully. Luis also had to remove some baseboard and a slant fin heater piece which he did with not complaints. He also put a nice transition in which I did not expect. Afterwards, I wished the tile I picked had more of a sheen on it. I called to see if there was anything that could be done, he said yes which made me feel better. He was able to work around my schedule and come by to add a sheen to the tile, just the perfect amount. He even gave me some extra to use. He was easy to work with and fast. The price was good and just perfect.

He showed up early for quote and early to work. They got right to work no cigarettes, no lottery scrathies, no long phone breaks, no baby mama drama. They were quiet and professional. My shower looks fantastic. He let me know how to save money so I did some demo and hauled debris and I picked up the tile. I got 4 corner shelves which were not included in I initial quote he put them on without an up charge. Highly recommend.

Perfect. Tore up the floor and tiled over 4 days and took all the trash with him on the way out.
