EB did an outstanding job on our house. I had received quotes from three contractors. Two were very close in price (EB and another contractor) but I couldn't get the other contractor to meet to close the deal. I contacted Ed from EB and he came right out - we finalized the deal and setup the schedule. The sub the roofing out to Ryan and Sons. They came out and did an excellent job and did the roof in one day. The windows were done the following week in two days. They came out a week or so after that and did the siding. It did take them 3 weeks to complete the siding. They worked every day except for one rain day. They did a meticulous job. I couldn't be happier with the exterior appearance of the house.

My first night in my new condo (first time homeowner), there was a big thunderstorm and a loose window blew into the house and shattered on the floor. I called several window specialists and all they all told me it would be at least a week before they could even check out my issue. Eddie at EB windows not only talked through my problem on the phone but showed up within the hour with a trainee. Instead of recommending a complete replacement of the window, he explained that I only needed a few parts to fix it and that I could do it all myself instead of having an expensive replacement with additional labor costs. He also walked through the condo, checking all other windows and explained how I could check if there were potential other issues. In addition, he noticed that my window warranties were about to expire (10 yrs w 1 month left) and that I should qualify for new FREE replacements. Even though I only gave them $100 of business, I've now replaced ~15 window sash's for free with the warranty coverage that I had no idea existed. Very professional service and really took the time to make sure I understood the entire process. I HIGHLY recommend EB windows for any window needs and will DEFINITELY use them again in the future.

EB Windows was one of five contractors I had out to look at our porch for replacement windows. Three of the five were standard window salesmen, overselling and pushing a product that was not what I needed or wanted. The other two listened to my needs and provided a proposal that was in line with my expectations. I went with EB because they could get the job done relatively quickly, and were the most responsive in our correspondance. Installation day went smoothly. They were on time, easy to deal with, and straight forward with their approach at every step of the job. I am pleased with the work, and would definitely hire them again in the future.

We replaced 10 old windows with new ones, using a HEAT loan. EB Window was very responsive and reasonably priced. My only complaint is that one of the old windows broke when they removed it and there was broken glass left outside that we had to clean up.

It went well. They were on time and pleasant to work with. One problem occurred when they discovered that the doors didn't quite fit the space and were forced to expand the area and then put new framing in place. It also took them far longer than expected to remove the old screen frames from the balcony rail area but they did manage it and removed all the broken pieces carefully. However, after all was said and done it looks great, the doors work well and are extremely airtight, good at keeping out drafts.

This is an updated review I feel compelled to submit based on a recent excellent experience with E.B. Window and Siding Co. I originally contacted the company in fall 2014 for a quote on a new front entry door. Ed seemed knowledgable when he came out to provide an estimate and I felt confident the work would be of good quality based on reviews. I did not however go with EB due to some communication issues, during which time I received a more straightforward quote at a lesser price from another option. I did keep Ed in mind however and am glad I made a second attempt when I realized my storm door needed to be replaced. Ed and the office staff were quick to set up an appointment, Ed was again very informative during his estimate, and the price was right. The door arrived in the expected timeframe and the installation went very well - very high quality with a professional and knowledgable crew. I feel my earlier experience was an unusual blip in what is otherwise a solid company and I confidently recommend EB going forward!

We called E.B. Window & Siding Co. and asked them to install a double pane half light door and storm door going out to our back deck . We had them install the same two doors that they had installed in our mud room about one year ago when they installed our siding. We liked the quality, appearance, and functionality of the doors. Ed made an appointment with us to come to measure for proper fit. Ed explained to us that if we wanted to save some money, we really did not need a storm door with the double pane exterior door we ordered. We opted to purchase the storm door anyway, because we like to use it a screen door in the summertime. A few weeks later Kathy from E.B.Window And Siding Co. called to let us know the doors were in, and to schedule an installation date. They came as scheduled and installed the doors. We have used E.B Windows And Siding Co. to install siding, windows and doors in our house. We have always been very impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. We highly recommend them.

Ed Byrne is an excellent contractor and Kathy, with whom I had the most contact by phone and email, was highly responsive, competent, and a pleasure to deal with. I had called a few other window and siding contractors but only one other even offered an estimate to redo just my 5 windows, claiming it was too small a job. When I first spoke with Kathy, she asked me to send a photo so as to determine what exactly I needed done. The same day she emailed a very fair price for the work and then set up an appointment within a week for Ed to come out and discuss other possibilities, including my possible interest in replacing the wood siding on my home. Ed, the owner of the company, is knowledgeable and experienced and took time to explain and discuss several options for me. When I said that I still just wanted to start with only the windows, there was no sales pressure. I felt very comfortable and confident that unlike some contractors, he listened to what I wanted. The window work was scheduled for 3 weeks later, which was best for their schedule and mine. In the interim, I received a fair estimate from them for vinyl siding along with samples of the siding material and colors. The two men who came to re-wrap the windows did excellent, precise work -- essentially giving my home a new look. They also removed the shutters I wanted, and had promised, to have removed (but hadn't), and carried them down to the back of the house for storage. They were professional, pleasant, and carefully cleaned up everything before leaving. I feel very comfortable having this company return in the spring for future work on my home.

Both Eddie & Kathy were great to work with throughout the quoting and selection process, they both helped us understand the myriad of options we had in selecting and customizing the right doors. John & Tom installed the doors in two days. They showed up on time, worked hard, cleaned up after themselves, and were pleasant to speak with throughout the day. Overall, we had a great experience with EB and will be using them again when we replace our windows.

Very professional and very nice. Price was similar to quotes I got from other providers. They made a mistake in ordering but fixed it promptly. Windows they should have ordered were more expensive, but they did not charge me for the difference. Only problem was a delay caused by ordering the wrong windows initially.

I would like to commend E.B. Window siding and doors for their excellent job and the excellent experience that I received from their services. From estimate through completion I was thoroughly satisfied. I am extremely happy with the interior door that they configured and installed. I am now able to keep the office air conditioned and it has made a huge difference in our comfort during the summer. The door installation was not without its missteps as the manufacturer originally sent the wrong size door for installation. The company could have configured and installed the door that was sent, but the door opening would have been smaller and less user friendly. It was the installer (Mike) who pointed this out, called his boss and put all of the removed molding in his truck as well as temporarily sealing the door opening until the new door could be manufactured and then installed. Great job all around and I would use them again for any window or door work. Jeff

The scope of this project was pretty comprehensive. We pretty much replaced the entire exterior of the home (minus a couple doors). Here's the list: -Stripped the existing siding and replaced with vinyl shingle-style siding (Alside Pelican Bay). -Replaced 22 windows. The majority of the windows were direct replacements (Alside brand), but some were conversions from casements to double-hung. A couple windows were replaced with a larger size. -All window, fascia, and soffit trim was replaced. Some was aluminum coil, and some was cellular pvc (like Azek). -One door replacement -Foundation repairs around garage -All new gutters The entire project took about 3 weeks and we could not be happier the outcome or with the entire experience in general. From job coordination to job execution, everyone involved in the process (Ed, Kathy, and their crew) was first rate. I highly recommend EB Window and Siding.

Our experience with E.B. Window and Siding is by far the best experience we've had with any contractor. The project started as a replacement of the siding on one side of the house and some minor repairs on a second side. As they began to pull away siding we realized that much more work was needed than the original scope. Significant repairs were needed to the structure underneath the siding as a result the existing siding not being installed properly and water getting behind it. This also indicated that repairs may be needed on the rest of the house. Ed worked with us to evaluate the full scope of the damage which ended up being everywhere. This meant a project much longer than the original plan. Once we realized the new scope Ed and his team showed amazing flexibility and patience on scheduling allowing us to work through the insurance process and being available when we needed them to meet with the insurance adjuster. Throughout the entire process Ed was upfront and fair about pricing. The entire team was honest, professional, friendly, hard working and skilled. The completed product looks better than we ever could have helped and the impact of the repairs and new siding is already clear. This was an extremely difficult project for us because it was hard to see an end to it. Working with a great team made it a lot easier. If we ever have another siding, window or door project EB Window and Siding will be our only call.

The job was completed in 2 days. Installation was as expected.

It was very good. They did a good job. Their workers are very good, they cleaned up after their day's work. The guys are good and the company gave me a good deal. They may not be the best. If there was maybe a notch or two under the best, they maybe one notch under. I can't compare because I never had another siding. So to me the work they did was the best. I had three estimates from Angie's List and they gave me the best. Their responsiveness was excellent.
