I spent $135 on the job. I had a good experience with him. He was punctual and he was very personable when my mother asked him questions. He was very quick; he did not make the job last longer than required. I would use him again.

He was very nice when he came to the house and seemed very knowledgable. He promised a proposal/estimate within a week because he was busy. I called after 10 days, emailed after 14 days, and called 3 more times over the past few weeks. I kept being told that he was working on it, was nearly done, or was trying to get me the best price. After over 3 weeks, he called me at 7AM to tell me that he just wasn't interested in the job because he's too busy. He wasted 3+ weeks to tell me that? Do I have bad breath or something? Very unprofessional.

I had a pipe leaking every time I flushed the toilet (By the grace of God it was leaking into my fortunately placed utility sink in the basement, and not onto my basement floor.) Shawn Peabody and his son came, and after seeing the leak diagnosed the problem: a faulty wax ring. They replaced the wax ring, and flushed several times to confirm that the leak was resolved, which it was. Shawn and his son were both very polite, afable individuals. Initially, it took them a couple days to call me back as they were busy, but they were apologetic about that, and made up for it with their work. Considering that I'm still waiting to hear back from some other companies I had called in that time, I'm feeling pretty good about it! I will use this company for any future problems and I recommend them to anyone else out there who needs some plumbing work!

Sean was curteous and professional. He showed up when he said he would, called ahead and promptly gave me an estimate for the work the next day. He knew exactly what he was doing looking at the work in my basement as my sister showed him since I was at work that time. He came back with a qoute of $2600 for the work. Overall, i really liked him but didn't go with him as Associated Plumbers ended up quoting me $1600 which was 1000 less then what Sean wanted.

Although my problems were not an emergency, the response was very reasonable. He and his assistant were very pleasant and explained everything they were doing. Even after the plumbing work was done, some questions I had about my heating were discussed and I got some good advice on that. Overall I was extremely satisfied and pleasantly surprised at the cost. If I need any other work on my plumbing or heating I know where to call.

Peabody Plumbing & Heating was great. The price was less expensive than I thought, but I never compared them. Their quality was fantastic. They did a very nice job.

Very well. I would never have found the offending dislodged cap inside the toilet tank, which had covered the water exit and the outside faucet had been bent such that it could not be fully turned off.

I am trying to sell my house, so was already kind of stressed out after a house inspection that identified these plumbing issues, among other things (the plumbing always worked fine, so I never knew it was a problem). I started searching for a plumber on Angie's list. I selected Shawn because I was impressed by the reviews - not only the many positive reviews, but also by how he responded to the few negative ones. That impressed me because it was an indication of what kind of person he was. He responded to my call within a day (maybe the same day, I don't remember exactly), but it was very timely. He came out to spec the job within another day or so, and we scheduled a date for the work. The work was done about a week later, as planned. Everything went according to plan. The estimation of time, materials, and cost was right on. He also fixed a couple of other minor problems that the inspector had brought up, like tightening the toilet (the inspector had said some part needed to be replaced, but that wasn't the case). He also replaced my outside faucet, which wasn't really part of the job, but he saw it needed replacing and just did it. When he was there, he pointed out that the house ground wasn't properly attached to the water pipes, which the inspector hadn't noticed. Since he couldn't do anything about that, he recommended an electrician who I subsequently used, and was equally satisfied. I did have a slight drip at one of the connections that I noticed a few days later, and he responded right away to fix it. Shawn and his son were a pleasure to work with - very down to earth, honest, responsive, and easy to deal with. I would definitely work with him again.

They are awesome. They didn’t charge me anything when they came back to fix the problem. This was finally one of the best things that we did when we bought our house. They were phenomenal. They are always punctual. They will give you a straight up price and that will either be the same price or may be cheaper when they charge you for it at the end of the job. They stand by their work. Four months later if something is not working, they show up immediately and fix it. I will keep using them forever. They are great. I would use their services again in the future.

Shawn was super responsive as we tried to schedule an appointment with my limited availability, and he checked in with me frequently over the course of a week as we finally found a time that worked. I called Peabody Plumbing and Heating after a terrible experience with another provider where the problem with the boiler was not fixed. Shawn not only checked the work the previous provider had done to show me what was done correctly - and what wasn't - and he actually diagnosed and solved the problem. He also took the time to speak with me about future projects and options. I will absolutely call him again. (He and his son are also great with animals!)

Shawn called and scheduled an appointment for the next morning. He arrived on time and gave me an estimate for the work. He completed both jobs in an hour without issues and was very professional. He adjusted the fill on the toilet to a level that would work well and conserve water. The new kitchen faucet works well and looks great. I will call Peabody Plumbing & Heating for any future problems. Job well done!

My propane water heater was occasionally shutting down and I had to check and reset it periodically. In late February it stopped working altogether. I called Shawn - as recommended thru Angie's List - and requested he come out to service the heater as I was tired of not having hot water in the morning for showers. He asked several questions regarding the heater and after hearing my response, he suggested I try several things to get it back on line before he made the service call. One suggestion was to be sure the exterior vent was not blocked by snow. Being new to New England, and never having had a propane heater before, it never occured to me that the exhaust was blocked or that it could affect the operation of the heater. As it was late in the day, we hung up and I immediately checked the several things he suggested. It ended up that my exterior vent was buried under several feet of snow. Once I cleared the snow away, the heater came back on. What really impressed me about Shawn was that the following morning, he called me to check to see if I got it working. He didn't have to do that and he could have easily made the service call, charged me for it, and made a nice profit. Instead, he saved me taking time off from work and paying for a service call. I think this is a very professional and "ethical" company and while I didn't technically use their services - I will definitely call them for any future plumbing or heating work I may have.

They did an outstanding job. The price wasn't that bad at all. It went real well, they were timely and didn't gauge me. They came the next day.

Whenever I've used Peabody Plumbing (which has been over the past 2 years), I have never been disappointed. Whether it's for installing a new boiler or repairing a leaking faucet or drain; Peabody is the go-to company! As with most older houses, something as simple as a stopped drain can often lead to other repairs which was what happened.

I called and spoke to the woman in the office. I explained the situation and she called me back within 2 minutes with a time when I could expect the service person. He called when he was on his way. He and his assistant went right to work. They fixed the problem and Shaun offered some advice about fixing the damage the leak did to our dining room ceiling. He was professional and polite.

We had multiple plumbing issues and we began calling plumbers found on Angie's list. Peabody Plumbing was the only person who followed up when he said he would. He arrived early for the repairs and was able to complete all the work within the day. He explained all the work he would do and estimated the cost. We did not have any surprises. He was very considerate of not making a mess and cleaned up after his work. We have been very satisfied with the work done and would use his services again.

I emailed last night from the Angie's List website, spoke to them by phone this morning, had him show up around noon, and had my kitchen back together so I could do dishes at 2 pm. I particularly appreciate providers who welcome me to watch and ask questions, and I got all kinds of information out of this visit.
