Response from Patrick Kubala Home Improvements
This is a very busy time of year, We attempted to meet with this homeowner as soon as possible, We set a Tuesday appointment with this customer, a week in advance. We had a cancellation, and extened the offer to meet with the customer on Friday afternoon, the customer told us to keep the Tuesday appointment which we did. We arrived at the home on Tuesday, did an inspection and measure of the roof. The homeowner informed us that this was a project he was looking to do in the Fall (6 months away) We provided him with a verbal estimate for budget planning purposes, provided him with samples, and told him when he was ready to go ahead with the project, we would come back, and give him an exact price and all the details of the job. I am not sure what more we could have done. Roofing material costs have been rising on average 7-10% per month. Any price we quote today will certainly not be good 6 months from now. It would be bad business for us to give this customer any more than a verbal estimate, especially when they tell us they do not want to do the job for more than 6 months.
