Sam's Painting is fantastic. They went beyond the call of duty and fixed wood that had either rotted or had been pecked by woodpeckers. They washed all windows on the exterior after they had finished painting. Sam is a great guy and his workers are polite and very efficient. I highly recommend them!

Power washed entire wood shingled house/garage. 50% of estimate paid at this point of job. Removed all window screens & window shutters from house. Electric rotary sander to all areas with peeling paint and/or exposed wood.Hand-brushed primer coat to all areas that had been sanded.Hand brushed 2 coats of Benjamin Moore paint to exterior of house/garage. scraped shutters and hand brushed 2 coats of Benjamin Moore paint and re-install on house.Washed exterior of all windows and reinstalled screens at end of job. Walked thru inspection of job before accepting second 50% payment for a job VERY WELL DONE. Extremely considerate of his clients property. No damage or spillage of paint on a new roof, no damage to landscaping, etc.

I asked Sam's Painting to provide a bid in April of 2011. Sam responded promptly within a day or two, doing a full-inspection of the job site and scope of work. He provided me a detailed bid within 30 minutes, on-site. His bid was the better price of the 2 bids I collected (another painter never showed up to scope out the project). I decided to delay the project until August, and he was able to start the job on schedule, within 3 weeks (which surprised me because that is peak season for house painting).He and his team arrived right on schedule on the day he promised, and they were so polite and efficient; I was extremely pleased.I was amazed that they did the job in only two and a half days. The trim looks great! As a bonus, his team even touched up the paint on the house shingles that had peeled.I will hire him again in a heartbeat when it comes time to paint my whole house and garage! And I wholeheartedly recommend his service to others.

Overall, things went well. We did have a miscommunication regarding what was to be done and color, but Sam worked hard to rectify the situation, even though I felt it was an error on both of our parts. I believe he is a capable, professional and honest contractor whom I would hire again in an instant. I'd just be very sure we both have the same understanding of the colors and work to be done.

I would recommend Sam's without any qualifications.

He was very friendly and thorough, and he gave me a bid on the spot within 30 minutes. The estimated price was $3300. I had no complications with him and would recommend him to others. I would consider using him in the future.

Sam's Painting more than lived up to my hopes. They came promptly when they said they would,, they worked quietly and effectively. They did everything in the proposal, and even more. They even washed the windows!! Now this early 19th century colonial home stands proudly with its new coat, and everyone is happy, including the tenants, who reported to me how pleased they were with the painters and the whole process.

They were fast and it was easy to work with them. I had a good experience and will continue to use the same in future.

I don?t remember the cost. It was may be $4000 or $1500 or $2000 or something like that. Overall everything was good. They were careful. They were some stuff that they did, and we came and looked at it and we didn?t really like it. So they came back and fixed it up. They were very responsive. They did conscientious work. I?m not sure if I would use their services again in the future.

We hired Sam?s Painting Co after hearing only good things about him from our neighbor across out street. We had originally gone with another cheaper company but after a series of lies and poor quality work were forced to let the original company go after the house had already been sanded and primed. When we hired Sam we noticed immediately that his demeanor was respectful and professional. When he said he was going to show up with five guys the following Monday ? he showed up with five guys! Sam and his workers really take pride in their work and in no way were they told to cut corners as the workers from the original company had been. Sam?s group showed up early and we noticed right away that the group seemed to have a real sense of camaraderie. They started by backtracking a bit, because some areas of the house had to be done over because the original sanding and priming work had not been done properly. The quality of work from Sam?s group was top notch! When break time approached for the men, Sam and his men gathered in the some back yard chairs where they genuinely enjoyed each other?s company. They laughed and told stories and jokes ? it was a pleasure to have them around! And then after their break, which was not that long, they all got back to work, many of them singing while they worked. Our experience with Sam and his group was night and day compared to the original company we had hired. He and his men were a pleasure to have around, and they were clean, efficient and hard workers. The original company had left our house completely sealed up for days on end in the middle of a heat wave this past summer without any workers showing up to complete the job for days on end. And then when someone did show up, it was only one guy! The house is very big ? way too big for one poor fellow to be stuck with the job. Sam?s price was a little more, but well worth it!! We really trusted his work and you really cannot put a price on that! Thank you Sam!

The project went extremely well. They were punctual and professional, and came back several times to touch up certain spots that were missed. The only drawback is that many members of the crew do no speak english, and sometimes you have to wait for Sam or one of the other senior members to arrive to give feedback about a specific issue.

Sam was great, very competitive price and willing to guarantee the painting for one year. We also wanted the risers on our porch stairs repainted in red, and he threw in the front door, window trim and window boxes so they'd all have a fresh coat. (These things were all red to start with.) The clean up was great and the work was done well - it is months later and the porches still look freshly painted. My only complaint was that we wanted the red parts to be redone in the same red, and he did it in burgandy instead. I think he must have had a can of burgandy left over. We ended up liking it better; it's very close to the original red but more neutral, so it all worked out, but still, he should have suggested it before he started painting. He should not have made that decision on his own. Aside from that, he did a great job and I'd recommend him.

Awesome.Our house was the ugliest on the block. Pale blue with pale yellow peeling trim. The house hadn't been painted since the 70's and the windows were original 1850 with original glazing. Sam's estimate was the right in the middle of other estimates, but with the amount of work he did, it surpassed the others. The first day of scraping and sanding, the house's detail came to life. All the lines were crisp. It looked great. The next two days transformed the house from the ugliest house on the block, to right up there with the nicest on the block. He painted and re-glazed the windows, including the sills. It's amazing what paint will do, but Sam did a great job. His crew was courteous, clean and very polite. The estimate was right on even though he painted our mailbox and porch lights, bulkhead and steps at no charge. He power washed our deck at no charge and cleaned up immaculately for the amount of paint he took off. He washed all the windows and storm windows and left a can of each color for touch ups. We couldn't have been happier with his workmanship, and I would recommend him to anyone.

We painted our house in order to help it sell. Many times painters will take advantage of this fact and think that they can do a poor job. We wanted to make sure that the new paint job was seen as an asset to a prospective buyer so we absolutely needed a good painter. Sam's Painting was just the kind of company we were hoping to find. The owner personally quoted the job and left us with a very professional proposal including 2 pages of references that we could show to buyers looking at our house. They quoted a very good price and stuck to it. They worked efficiently in a crew of 3 men to complete the entire job in 3 long days. Their prep work was meticulous. No painter we have ever hired put so much effort just into the prep work. The resulting job shows the effects of that prep work. It's the best paint job our house has ever had. Not only did they do all the work quoted, but they went ahead and performed some additional work by painting the metal outside of the basement windows which required different paint from the rest of the house. It's a small thing, but it speaks volumes about the pride these guys put in their work. Additionally, we have small children and the men doing the work at all times behaved in ways that were completely professional. There was no foul language, ugly music blaring or any inappropriate behavior. I can't say enough good things about these guys.

What I liked the most about them was that they were wonderful and very professional. They were also punctual and did a great job for a reasonable price. They have a very good reputation in my town.

THE WORK WAS DONE EXPERTLY AND EXPEDITIOUSLY. THE ATTENTION TO THE PREPARATION WAS EXCELLENT AS WAS THE FINISHED JOB,ANY AREAS THAT REQUIRED EXTRA WORK WAS ATTENDED TO WITHOUT ADDITIONAL CHARGE. THE CLEAN UP WAS THOROUGH INCLUDING ANY PAINT ON WINDOW GLASS, EXTERIOR STEPS ETC. WITHOUT EXCEPTION, ALL WORK CONTRACTED FOR WAS EXECUTED IN A HIGHLY SATISFACTORY MANNER. I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO RECOMMEND THIS FIRM TO ANYONE REQUIRING A HIGH QUALITY, HOUSE PAINTING JOB.
