Very Well done. Completed work in timely manner and was very well done. Got 4 bids and Sam's was the most complete/detailed bids and best priced.

From the get-go, Sam and his crew demonstrated their professionalism, knowledge, and ability to do an exceptional job. After the initial contact, Sam promptly met with us. We initially wanted all trim and house questionable wood areas addressed. Being a 35 year old house, many trim and clap boards had to be removed and replaced. Within an hour, Sam produced a highly detailed reasonable estimate, which we accepted. He gave an estimated start date, which was right on. They started with power washing. Questionable boards were removed, replaced, and primed. Good wood, where necessary, was scraped, primed, and calked. Because so many clap boards had to be replaced, we decided to go further and have the entire house painted (2 coats on all boards), for a very reasonable add-on. Required carpentry in places was tricky, but completed with precision. The crew cleaned up daily. Any concerns I had were promptly addressed. The last day, all the window exteriors were hand washed. The house looks great, just like new. The house exterior should be problem free for many years to come. In all aspects, Sam and crew were exceptional. I highly recommend them.

I ,reached out to Sams Painting, and he responded quickly via email. We set up a date and time to meet. He confirmed the night before. He was to show up on 9/22/20, @ 10:00 am. However, I was in the shower getting ready, and thought I heard my doorbell ring, and could not answer the door. 10:00 came and went, and he did not show up. I reached out to him via email and no response. Later in the day, I had company come over, and they saw that he had taped a business card on my door/house, and on the back stated he was there not at 10:00 as we had set up to me, but rather at 9:25 am (which is when I was not available.). I am also handicapped/disabled, making it even more difficult to get to the door as I was not ready, because he was 35 minutes early. I then reached out to Sam 3 more times via email to find out why he came early, and asking if he wanted to reschedule. NO RESPONSE again. For these reasons, I would not recommend or use. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!

Sam's Painting is outstanding. I watched them work at a neighbor's house, and they were always early to arrive, ready to work, focused, professional and committed to completion. We asked for a quote for our house right away, and they followed through quickly with an estimate. They arrived exactly as they committed, and worked professionally throughout the engagement. They did a great job. Our neighbors have all commented on it. If you hire these guys, you will be completely pleased and thoroughly impressed with the work ethic of the entire crew.

Sam and his team are simply GREAT! I’ve lived in this house for 30 years, and have owned 2 other houses, and these guys are the best painters I’ve ever had. I was home the whole time they were here, and everything was done the right way. They did a great job with the carpentry repairs, prepped all of the surfaces well, and brushed in the finishes. The house looks new again. Sam was a pleasure to work with, he and his team were all nice guys and they worked really hard. I highly recommend them!

2nd time I have used Sam's Painting Co. This experience was identical to my first which was 7.5 years ago. Stellar customer service and neat, top-quality work with emphasis put on respecting the homeowners property. Sam stayed on top of the weather and kept me informed via text msg when rain might prevent his crew from working and when to expect them next. Prep work included power wash, scraping, replacing several shingles, repair/seal rot spots on window sill. Would not hesitate recommending Sam & crew to anyone looking for an excellent home paint job.

Sam was a fantastic option for my painting project. I got 4 quotes and his was the best value (combination of number of coats with price). He was very professional: called back within hours of my contacting him; came out to give a quote within 48 hours; very punctual; when he and his team left after the job there was not a trace of any rubbish (you wouldn't have known work was done). The work was excellent--everything was done meticulously. The team moved some of my stuff to get to the walls because I didn't have a chance to, and then moved it back. And Sam was very pleasant, with a gentle manner, and was a pleasure to do business with. It can be hard to find contractors that you trust who do what they say they will do when they say they are going to do it, and do it well. Sam's Painting is one and I will use him again for future work.

Great. Sam did the job himself because it was a little tricky. He is a perfectionist. The doors and woodwork look brand new. I would highly recommend Sam and his crew for any interior or exterior painting needs.

Let me get right to the point: You should hire Sam! I'm not given to this kind of praise but when you find someone who not only does a great job and does it as promised but is also kind, friendly and a pleasure to have on your property, it's important to acknowledge him. Sam is such a person in a world where people like him are hard to find. We have a large house with lots of detail (e.g. dental molding, portico, columns, etc.) that hadn't been painted in quite a while. I chose three of the top-rated smaller firms (I've had problems with larger firms using bait and switch on their crews) and got two bids including Sam's. The bids were comparable in price and scope and, frankly, I think the other bidder would have been fine to work with, but I'm really pleased we chose Sam. First of all, he was very responsive when I called and flexible to our needs (we've had some medical issues which impacted scheduling). Second, when we set a schedule, he stuck to it with the exception that he adjusted, on the fly, for weather. This is important since some painters, to keep their schedules, will paint when it’s not appropriate; Sam won’t. Though I’m sure that cost him, he cares about both the quality of his work and his reputation. Third, when we discovered things as we went along (e.g. some rotten trim, gutters that leaked, etc.), Sam repaired things quickly and professionally. As an aside, we added few small interior projects that he was able to do without disrupting the overall schedule. Fourth, Sam’s small crew are an extension of him. They are very professional and extremely courteous. Fifth, they were extremely respectful of our property. We have lots of bushes close to the house and a new driveway. Nothing got damaged at all and, at the end of each day, they cleaned up to the degree that you didn’t know they had been there. Finally, and most importantly, the quality of the work is close to perfect. Everything looks great. When you drive by, the house now stands out as pristine. I asked Sam for references and their glowing comments were among the best I’ve ever gotten for a contractor and it all turned out to be accurate. So, again, I couldn’t recommend Sam more highly.

Sam & his crew once again did an excellent job prepping and painting the exterior of our house. We first used Sam 8 years ago and the house stood up extremely well over that time. Sam is very professional, neat, punctual, and does a fantastic job. We were very happy from beginning to end, and would definitely recommend using him and his team.

Sam and his crew (3 other members) came and completed the project in 4 days. Right from pressure washing to scraping, priming, replacing damaged wood shingles and two coats of paint, everything was done thoroughly and professionally. The team was very accommodating and also included additional paint work of painting the storage shed. He was kind enough not to kill the baby birds which were in the nest existing between the wood shingle and wall. He came after month and half when the birds have migrated to close the shingle. Gentleman!!!

I had started receiving painting quotes late summer 2017 and finally decided on a painter spring 2018. During that time, I received numerous quotes and was able to research a bit on what would be the best technique for my house, how long certain colors would last, etc. I had to do this because one painter told me I couldn't paint white (not even the trim) and others said they only sprayed, regardless of the surface they were painting. After reviewing the quotes and becoming more informed, I went back to some contractors with additional questions, including Sam. He was able to answer all my questions and seemed very knowledgeable. There was a 5 or 6 week wait for the paint job, but I think it only ended up being 4 weeks, which was great. I was out in CA in the week before he started so I wasn't able to start looking at samples until the Friday before he was set to start the job. He was very accommodating and came by numerous times over the weekend to paint additional samples on the house so I could select the color I thought would be perfect. He was there with a crew every morning for a week and was available to answer any questions I had. They packed up their equipment each night. I never saw any paint chips or messes anywhere. Ultimately, the house came out beautifully and I am incredibly happy with the result! It was a pleasure working with Sam and his crew.

Sam was awesome from the start. He was very quick to respond to my inquiry and had a hand written estimate in my mailbox the same day. Sam let me know on a Friday that they would be power washing on Monday. He was there Monday like he said. Him and his crew were there everyday bright and early and worked through the day. They were all wicked nice, organized and professional. They did an amazing job, even going above and beyond fixing things and improving things before actually painting. The paint job is perfect making the shed and house look like new. They left zero mess at the end. Everything they did exceeded my expectations and they were all great guys. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Sam and his painting team were timely, professional, detailed and did a very good job cleaning up after each work day. They power washed the house and replaced rotting boards on the house and the deck. Painted the house with two coats of paint. When finished they washed the outside of all the windows and put the screens back on the house. Then they cleaned up the yard. Easy to work with, no problems and great results.

We were extremely happy with the painting job done by Sam's Painting and his crew, He came and gave us a professional estimate, answered questions and said he was booked about 5 weeks out and would call us. Sure enough, about 5 weeks later, we received a call saying he would be at our house the next day to power wash prior to painting. He does the power washing himself, very carefully. Great job. The painting went very well. House was primed with oil base paint, then finished with 2 coats of latex. Good paint - Benjamin Moore. Sam and his crew were courteous, paid attention to details and hard workers. We needed a little carpentary done and they did a great job with that too. Caulked and sealed as necessary. The end result is beautiful! We couldn't be happier! Thank you Sam!!!

The price was competitive and the house looks great. They were professional, punctual, and responsive to requests. I guess the real test will be how the paint holds up over time but as of right now I am satisfied with the results.

Orimar Samuel, the owner and his workers are wonderful to deal with. They are punctual, dependable, neat, hard working and eager to please. The job went like clock work, Sam and workers arrived exactly on time every day, worked hard all day and thoroughly cleaned up at the end of each day. They are flexible and willing to do extra repairs when asked and touch ups when pointed out. This interior painting job of my entire second floor looks beautiful! I definitely highly recommend Sam's Painting Co., you won't be disappointed!

Sam was very professional and responsive. He provided a very detailed quote about the painting job and did exactly what he proposed. I was particularly pleased that he also washed the windows as part of the job. He even reduced the cost of the job because there were fewer rotten trim boards than he estimated.
