Received estimate on 11/14/16 from Wayne. Was told that it would be a week out before scheduling, Crew showed up on 11/15/16 to take care of the job. All in all, unless the lack of service from East Coast Gutter - Hollis, NH, Gutter Kings was very responsive, professional, and quick with the repair. Will be hiring them for a bigger job this coming Spring.

Excellent. Great job at a fantastic price.

They arrived on time and quickly repaired and and installed the gutters and downspouts. I did have to call them back. I had water running between the gutters and facia boards so I called them back and they installed additional flashing at the drip edge. They were very responsive coming back the next day. I was a little disappointed that we did not identified the need for additional flashing initially and it did add to the cost of the job. Overall, I am very satisfied. They arrived on time, did the work they promised, cleaned up and were very responsive to my complaint about the water leaking between the facia and gutters. I would use them again

Although the first day they arrived they had the wrong color gutters on the truck. They apologized and returned a couple of days later with the correct materials. Work went quickly and cleanly. A very professional install. Even with the one mistake of the wrong color I still have to give them an excellent score because of the quality of the workmanship and the respect which they treated me, the customer. A job well done.

The team that came out put holes in the side of the house and holes in my roof where they placed their ladders. After a back and forth with the office, they finally came out to fix the hole in the siding. Luckily we had before and after photos taken that day. We learned about holes in the roof a year later when skylights began to leak. The company we brought in to repair the issues showed photos of holes the ladders made in the shingles. Overall best price in the market, but you will pay in the long run.

My disappointment is with the office staff. The estimator who came to the property did a good job. I called the office back after reviewing the estimate and was put on hold for 15 minutes (I hung up after this time) while they looked for my quote. They did not call me back. I called back the next day and again was put on hold for 10 minutes while they found my quote. I requested an updated quote for additional downspouts and leaf guards that I requested when I first contacted the office. The office said they would get the estimator to do this and never happened. This was their second chance to show some respect for a potential customer. Finally I get a call from the office asking when I would like to start the job. I am one who does not beg a contractor for respect. I have scheduled a job with another contractor.

Completed online form for estimate. Received call less than an hour later. Scheduled estimate for a few days after that. Estimator arrived on time and provided reasonable estimate for work. Indicated they would complete work within two weeks. The next morning I received a call that the work would be completed that day. Came home to all work done. Work looked good and as discussed with estimator. Fast and efficient process.

Performed the service two weeks earlier than expected. Very efficiently and professionally done.

Update: received a call from the company indicating they had seen the original review (below) and were coming out to fix the problem. They arrived the next day, and I explained the problem. Everything was fixed within 30 minutes or so. They explained all the work was under warranty if there are any problems. I should have simply called the company in the first place to ask if they could come out to fix it. I am impressed that they were motivated to correct a problem without me even contacting them directly. I think that is rare these days. Was not home when work was done. One side looks ok and works fine. The other side had a single screw through the gutter and into the fascia to correct the pitch (I guess). This screw ripped out of the fascia at some point during/after installation. I'm guessing more than a single screw should have been used or it should have been at the correct pitch with the straps that hold the gutter and are screwed in beneath the shingles. Slight sag in the middle of gutter holds some water now, so will need to be fixed. Overall, the job looks rushed, gutters twisted a bit and the fittings between gutter and downspouts are slightly misaligned. Better work was done by this company in a previous job when they did gutters on the house. Maybe just a less experienced crew for this smaller job?

The service was fine (I think, not having climbed up to inspect for myself), but the problem was the way they charge for the service. I was quoted $215 based on sections of gutter on the house (assessed By NEGK with google maps). It seemed a little high but the reviews were good so I scheduled it anyway. Two men came as scheduled and were gone in maybe 20 minutes, leaving behind a trash bag that was about 1/3 full with debris. I was shocked that the job was so easy and fast and yet the price was not adjusted. When I called to ask about it, I was told that they price by the number of sections of gutters, and however long it takes, it takes. If the gutters had been very clogged or problematic in some way, and it took four hours for them to do the job, the price would have been the same. How does that possibly make sense. For me it was a huge rip-off.

Last week, I had my gutters cleaned. I contracted for the extra service of removing debris and, as requested, left a check to cover all the costs. When I returned later that day, I found the invoice in my door that noted that the service was charged. However, there was still a bag of debris on the driveway and additional debris had not been picked up including the old downspout springs left on the ground. I called and was told they would come over in a ?couple of days? to finish but they never did so I have called again for my money back. I hope I get it. Also, I asked to be notified when they were coming and gave my cell phone as a secondary number if they did not get me on my home phone. Unfortunately, when they call, they use a robo-call system so when my home answering machine answers, it assumes the call was received and does not go to my cell phone. I have used Gutter Kings for several years but I will be finding another service next year.

I used this company last year and had no complaints about the service. This year I called to schedule the cleaning in early December , later than I had wanted because I was sick in the falll. I was told that the rate for the cleaning would be increased by $50 because it was considered a "winter cleaning." I thought this was rather outrageous; we've had an unusually warm fall and December (temps averaging low-mid50's most days) but scheduled the cleaning anyway because I didn't think I would be able to find anyone else this late in the season. I got on the Angieslist website and spoke with someone at another well-rated company who came out the next day to clean the gutters. He gave me a price that was lower than his normal lowest charge because the house is a small ranch house itch easily accessible gutters. I will never use New England Gutter Kings again, because I felt Like I was manipulated into nearly paying $50 overcharge for a winter that isn't here. I will continue to use Third Generation Windows and Gutters, who did a fine job last minute and charged significantly less than I would have paid NE Gutter Kings, even without the $50 extra charge.

Company did a great job in putting up the gutters, keeping a clean work space and getting it done quickly. I was especially impressed with their ability to match the pain color for the gutters to my house trim color. Nice job!

They did a lot of banging and walking on my roof. They didn't come out when the said the would.I had to call and set up another appointment.When the left I noticed they did damage to my gutters with the ladder they banged against the gutters. I called they denied it but I was home and checked right after they left and saw damage.The gutters are only 4 years old.They said the would call me next week.

Clean gutters. Reattach broken downspout. I also requested fixing gutter flashing. Still waiting on that work, but otherwise it was fine.

I have a Cape style house on narrow sloping plot. I have had the company do my gutter cleanings, and some maintenance, for about three years now. Both Spring and Fall. The company calls ahead to advise me the date and approximate time they will be there. The cost has been the same each time.

I communicated but they did not. So, I found someone else. ==================== I posted the review when Angie's List asked me to do so, and that accounts for the year's delay. As for the rest of the vendor's comment, if they had called me, I would have answered or returned the call if they left a voicemail message -- and I don't have a "work" number BTW. But, it is something that they think they responded, anyway, so I will improve the grades I gave them.

New England Gutter Kings did an excellent job - their crew was timely, knowledgeable and did an great job.

On 10/2/15 I requested an estimate for a gutter cleaning and was initially contacted by the call center on 10/4/15 telling me that I would receive a call within 24 hours to schedule a date and time for service. I was not contacted until 10/6/15 after 3pm by the company and only to confirm that I had received the quote and that work could be done and that I did not need to be home at the time of service. However, I requested they provide me a specific date and time since I needed to schedule other contractors to be onsite. I was told that they could not provide a me specific date and time for service and again told that I did not need to be home at the time of service. The employee was clearly reading from a company script and I repeated that I needed a date and time due to other contractors being on site for example I could not schedule power washing service unless I knew when they were going to be onsite. The employee told me that they do not give customers a date and time for appointments and that the call center employee must have been new and made a mistake. He stressed that it is not their policy to schedule by date and time, that is just NOT how they operate. However, they could give me a priority appointment but that would cost me an additional $25 but not for tomorrow because they have already scheduled the jobs for tomorrow. So does that make any kind of sense to anyone? yeah we'll do the job but we won't tell you when and you don't need to be there. I was not going to have a contractor on ladders on my property when I was not home and by their not informing me when they could provide service did not meet my needs. I asked them to take me off the list and I would find another contractor. Had I known this is how they operate I would not have contacted them. Their information page here on Angie's List should state that the company can only provide a window of week to perform the job if that is the way they operate. Update 10/10/15 - I have updated my rating on this business. Altho the providers response is placing fault on the after hours call center perhaps they did not provide the call center the correct info since I already had received a message through Angies List website with an estimate. I do agree with the provider that the call center was in error for misrepresenting the ability to schedule time of service. That said I have hired many contractors in the past that face the same challenges the provider noted in their response without similar issues. The provider did call me and leave me a message on 10/7 to offer a free cleaning. Since I am under time constraints to get work done on my vacation and had other contractors at the house I did not accept the offer. I do feel that the provider needs to clarify what their conditions are in their listing here on Angies List. If you are someone who has the flexibility to have someone at home all week or is comfortable with having someone on ladders on your property when you are not home then this provider may be a good option for you.

We did not hire them.

They cleaned the gutter quickly and as far as I can tell, thorougly, as promised, but when I asked them about the state of the gutters they said they water tested the whole thing looking for leaks and that it was all in good shape. The next day during a light rain, water was clearly dripping from corner seams in multiple places. They either have poor attention to detail or didn't actually do the water testing the employee described.

I have not spoken to anyone at this company at all. They came to my house without my knowledge, wrote up an estimate without speaking to me, and left it on the ground in front of my house. This is terrible customer service. I would never hire this company for any work.

We had our front lawn recently redone. The seeds were just starting to germinate and there were tiny stems of grass just starting to like out. It was clear that our lawn was brand new. They showed up and started working before my wife got home. She noticed that they were trampling all over our new lawn. I would expect the trampling near the house, next to the gutters. But it was clear that they were walking from one side of our lawn to the other without using our walkway nor driveway. They had also dragged their equipment through our new seedlings. They didn't miss too many spots destroying our lawn. Them, as soon as my wife got home, she immediately told them to not walk on our new lawn. She mentioned to me that they didn't change their behavior after she mentioned it to them. It's a number of weeks later and we now have a ton of dead spots across our new lawn. The dead spots are sunken in holes where they trampled over or lawn. For those of you who know how expensive a new lawn is could probably understand the anger this has given us. If I had the time, I would take them to small claims court to have them pay for the lawn to be properly taken care of again. I have pictures of the lawn before and after. They were incredibly unprofessional in damaging our property while performing their job. Not only the lawn, but in the backyard they left their left over garbage on our property. They left brackets and nails across our patio. If you have any ability to use a different gutter team, I would highly recommend it. That is, unless you would want your personal property damaged by their inconsiderate and uncaring team. I will never work with the gutter kings again.

They were great! It worked out really well.
