Very professional. Shower installed in the time frame discussed. A few miscommunications, but all was resolved to our satisfaction. New shower is beautiful.

Randy came and did the estimate, he said he would give me the estimate through email and now, a week + later I have not received anything. I have tried calling him 4 times and no one picks up.

... I am thrilled... Randy and his crew did a wonderful job in an efficient manner. They were on time and a pleasure to have in my home. Randy was a great help with design ideas and management of the project. As an owner of an older home, there are always issues that arise (think knob and tube and horse hair). These guys never missed a beat and dealt with all the quirky things with a smile. It is without hesitation that I recommend Home Pros to anyone looking to have outstanding work done with a honest and fair general contractor. I am actually looking forward to my next project!

Like so many others, the winter of 2015 was not kind to us, and we were in need of new ceiling, sheetrock, insulation, electrical and gutter work from ice damage. HomePros had the best Angies List reviews, and they came through for us during what was probably the busiest season of contractor work in Massachusetts history. Randy came by for an estimate at the same time as the insurance adjuster (which I highly recommend by the way), and he made sure all affected areas were pointed out and added to the claim. Our walls and ceiling now look better than they did when we moved here, and the gutters and fascia boards look brand new and much sturdier. But what really sets HomePros apart is the little things, like when the contractor took it on himself to go to Home Depot to hunt down missing keys from the lockset we had purchased the week before. When the door we picked out didn?t fit, they purchased the materials needed for our non-standard door opening, and we were spared the potential stress of a pointless phone call. The workers always arrived early, were courteous, and paid lots of attention to my two (fascinated) kids as they worked. The work took longer than estimated, but it was always for unforeseeable things like the keys and the door opening. I plan on calling HomePros again for future projects - but I?ll wait till the great contractor rush of Spring 2015 is over!

It took them two days. The job was done. I wasn’t happy with how they cleaned up afterwards and I wasn’t happy with carpets that they had touched. I contacted the owner and he came out. He looked at everything. He wasn’t here when they left. He agreed that the cleanup work was shoddy and he went ahead and redid it. It was much better when he was done but then the carpet apparently was him. He redid the carpet and it looks much better but I was a bit frustrated that I thought he cut corners the first time around and that he didn’t do it the right way. When I contacted him about it, he was very nice about it. He fixed everything. We didn’t complain about it but it was just frustrating that he didn’t do right the first place and the employees didn’t cleanup the place well when they were done. I guess when all was said and done I was reasonably satisfied. I didn’t know how to adjust for me having to call them to come and fix it. The price seemed reasonable. It’s like they can do it this week if I want to do it but they need to know now. The cost was actually lower than what they originally quoted me. The repair seems okay. When I called and he did get back to me. They came when they were supposed to. If something went wrong, they shouldn’t have gone wrong but when it did went wrong, they were very receptive in fixing it. The product that I initially wanted was close enough to it and the job was done. I doubt that any of that stuff would happen again because that was the first time I put them on notice and he was nice enough to work with. I would probably use them again but I would be very clear from the beginning with what I expect.

Overall, I am satisfied with the work and timeline. The job was completed as specified, on-budget, and on-time, though went right to the wire on the latter There were a few hiccups with along the way, but they were minor and were resolved fairly quickly. (Compared to anecdotal accounts I have heard from friends and relatives who hired other contractors, these were nothing.) Randy and his and crew are affable and knowledgeable, and I felt completely comfortable having them work in the house while I was not at home. They even managed to work around my two dogs without complaint. I live in an old house, to which several different owners made DIY changes with varying degrees of success, and I foresee calling upon HOMEPROS to do more work here in the future, because of their reasonable rates, skill across several trade categories, and good humor.

I was getting my house ready for sale. I needed a bathroom fixture replaced. I installed LED bulbs in the existing fixture and one of the "arms" holding the light bent over from the added weight of the LED bulbs. LEB bulbs are probably 10 times heavier than CFL bulbs. I also wanted an estimate for door weather-stripping. I also needed some caulking done at the crown molding and ceiling line of my 17' tall foyer. Initially we scheduled Tuesday for the repair visit. Well, Randy had a death in his extended family and called to say he could not make it on Tuesday. I told him that I had a real estate agent coming on Friday and that I needed the work done no later than Friday. Randy came on Friday and brought his some as his helper. He quickly installed the light fixtures, I also had him replace a driveway light fixture too. He and his son brought in their 24' extension ladder and Randy completed the caulking job and did a great job. He then gave me an estimate for the door work, which was more extensive than originally thought. At that time the agent arrived and was not a good time to do the additional work. Had he been able to arrive on Tuesday he may have been able to get in the door fix. Nonetheless I was happy with the work done and it contributed to the positive comments in my first Open House on the following Sunday.

The provider failed to show for the 1st scheduled appointment and then was late to the second. I then never received a quote or message that he was not interested in the job.

He came here at 10am and was going to give me a quote but did the entire job. He worked 8 hours straight with exceptional work! He cleaned up after himself and was very pleasant and professional. He was great!

Randy and his helper, Deb arrived on time and were always professional. I wanted a back door installed since I have a new puppy and was getting sick of taking her outside through one of two front doors. Randy came to take a look and quoted me a price to install a door and build a composite deck that seemed reasonable to me. (His quote was actually in the middle of 4 quotes I got from construction companies in the area) Once he opened up the walls and found an electrical hazard he found an electrician to fix it straightaways. Though the electrician was an additional cost, I wanted it done to code and Randy made sure it was! I'm always watching HGTV so know to have a contingency amount of money set aside for situations just like this. Communicating with Randy was a breeze. He was easily accessible via text and phone whenever I had a question or needed to speak with him. Deb was the one that took off the old panelling in the add-on room, installed new insulation, and then installed the drywall. She was a hard worker and did a fantastic job! She took great pains to make sure the little details were done right. One thing that is important to me is feeling safe. When I met Randy for the first time he was very down to earth and didn't try to up sell me like a couple of others tried when I was getting quotes for the job. I was around the first few days Homepros were working, but there were many days I was not around and they had full access to my house. Care was always taken to clean up each night before they left and leave the area still accessible so I could take my puppy outside. They really took care of my house as if it was their own. This meant a lot to me! The deck is beautiful and I love sitting outside on it while my puppy plays and in the late afternoon to do some work. The backdoor has been a lifesaver and all the work is top notch! I would definitely recommend Homepros to my family and friends. In fact, my mom was here when Randy was working and she loved his work! She now has his business card and know she will call him when she is ready to have work done! And I will definitely contact him again in the future when I save money up to re-do my kitchen! That is my next big project!

We hired HOMEPROS to design and build a new bathroom in our basement. Randy was there for hands-on supervision of his crew thru the entire process, framing, electrical, plumbing, and all the finish work. Randy is a meticulous craftsman, and of course the price was extremely competitive. We highly recommend HOMEPROS and we've already hired him again for our indoor/outdoor project list.

The owner (Randy) is very creative and thinks outside the box coming up with options and ideas that enhanced the project. He is very "hands on" and stayed involved with the project from start to finish. A pleasure to work with and even joined us at Loews to help us choose new fixtures and tile by reviewing options as well as the pro/cons based on his extensive experience. The work was done on time and on budget despite a few unique "challenges" presented with this project. Overall he and Matt did a top quality job and we are very pleased with the work and would not hesitate to refer him to others.

Randy was very prompt and professional responding to my request. He arrived when he said he would and was very knowledgable. I did not end up using his services in the end because I put my bathroom project on hold, but I would definitely use him in the future.

At the time he quoted me, he said he could start the next week. I accepted the contract and true to his word he was here the next week! He and his crew went right to work ripping out all the old wood, walls and floors. By the end of the day, they were ready to start the construction the next morning. He put up walls where there were none, he put ceramic tile and also carpeting down. My plumbing was old (1957) so he also replaced a section of the plumbing. He installed a bathroom (toilet only) and a kitchen with sink and counter tops. Painted all walls and doors. Randy was always on the job, which I liked so he could see everything going on. Very easy to deal with. I would recommend him.

When I first brought them in, it was just for the bathroom and kitchen/hall floor with the potential of more work. As they progressed, I added to their scope. Randy and his team worked diligently until all the given tasks were done to my satisfaction. As an admittedly detail-oriented client, they put in extra effort to be sure that the work did not disappoint. They clearly communicated the expected timeframe and explained any speedbumps that came up along the way. Overall, I am pleased with the work done and the experience of working with HomePros.

The first part was I needed a new water heater as mine went. It was a Saturday and he came when no one else would and replaced it. Part 2 of the contracts was to take out my two toilets and sinks as well as a shower and replace them with updated fixtures while also doing a tile floor in both bathrooms. A couple of minor complications but nothing that Randy could not handle. Part 3 was to replace the downstairs floor... Kitchen, dining room and living room.... I wanted easy clean and so I picked out some flooring (vinyl planks) and he did a terrific job and the floor never looked better. He is coming back to take care of my ceilings..... The coolest part..... We did on on a handshake....... How trustworthy is that.... I never signed a contract... he trusted me and I trusted him..... He had full run of the condo while I was at work without any issues what so ever......

Overall work was fine. A couple of areas that were done in a less than professional way (nailing something to a small piece of wood that wasn't painted or finished and made that section of railing not the same level as the other railings). This 'fix' was not discussed with me as to aesthetic.

The work is exceptional, tends to be a perfectionist , goes above and beyond the call of duty!
