About us

NON-PROFIT organization. Save on heating oil with local dealers, all year long. Our Heating Oil Service works like a buyers club or co-op for home heating oil and is available to most households in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and southern New Hampshire. We use the group buying power of our 11,000 members to negotiate a discounted price per gallon with vetted oil dealers every day of the year. How it works: 1. Enroll in the program and pay your annual membership dues ($25 for a basic 1-year membership). 2. Once you’ve enrolled, we pair you up with one of the oil dealers in our network that meets your delivery, payment, and service preferences. 3. Every time you receive a delivery from your new Mass Energy oil dealer, you get the discounted member price per gallon instead of the price they charge their regular customers. That's it! As a bonus, we'll help you save even more on energy by helping you make smart decisions around energy efficiency and renewable energy upgrades. While we are not an oil dealer, we connect residents to quality heating oil providers through our Discount Heating Oil Service. www.massenergy.org/heating-oil Although discrepancies are rare, we do have a Member Concern process that mitigates most issues within 24-48 hours. If you requested information from a dealer and they denied it, Mass Energy is there to advocate on your behalf to ensure you are enjoying good service. What kind of work were you referring to when you requested an estimate? All of our dealers are full service, and they provide the maintenance and repairs. Mass Energy coordinates the membership, fair prices, and customer service. Average price per gallon and membership fees are on our website but we typically do not receive requests for “estimates”. Is it possible you have us confused with another organization or the services we offer?
