Description of Work: Fernando Duran agreed to provide service for a broken refrigerator. We waited for the entire time slot that he was supposed to show up, then at 6pm he called to say he could not find a parking space and that he was canceling. That cost me half a day of work!!! This man is not reliable, do not use him.

Description of Work: Fixed our front load washer. He had to leave and come back a second day with a replacement part. He apparently also sells appliances, but didn't push us to replace our current 8 year old washer despite it being a tricky repair.

Description of Work: We purchased a washer and dryer coin operated back in December 2012. We could not install until this july. ( nothing to do with the machines we could not fit in our basement until we installed our new heating system) when we did finally install in July, the washer would not finísh a cycle. We happen to have Fernando's number so we called hoping he could help. We assumed we would get either no call back or sorry You bought this so long ago we cant help You. To our surprise not only did he remember us but he helped my husband trouble shoot on the phone and when we couldnt figure it out he came over showed us a simple part to replace and how to install without charge. I still cant beleive it. Now thats customer service! Thank You!

+ -1 moreWhen he came, he said that I needed a new ignition switch. It was on a Saturday, and there were people coming and the guy I usually use was not there on that Saturday. So I called somebody because I had people coming and I really needed somebody to who can fix it. Basically this guy told me that I needed a new ignition switch and he couldn't do anything. He suggested that I buy a new stove. The price was very reasonable and he was really very responsive as well. He acknowledged checks so I paid him $65 for him to come out. After he left, my guy had called back and left a message because I hadn't picked up and he said that based on what he heard, maybe the stove was cleaned so he asked me to take a hair dryer and dry out the burners because it might be just water and that should fix it and that's what it was.
Description of Work: My stove did work but the ignition was clicking constantly.

+ -1 moreI THOUGHT HIS PRICE WAS FAIR. I CALLED HIM LAST NIGHT AND HE WAS OUT THE NEXT MORNING. HE CAME WITH THE PART ON HAND, SO HE DID NOT HAVE TO LEAVE TO GET THE PART.
