I found him, I believe, through Angie's List. Incredibly responsive, professional etc. Just great. I would recommend him; I have already recommended him. In fact I am going to call him for something again. This is an old house so we have an endless supply of things to do. I would use him again.

I had Alexis home by my condo as I had some issues. He was very honest with me and upfront about where the problem is coming from and what I should do about it. He was extremely professional and I will use them in the future for sure.

Edian had done a large trim replacement project for our condo earlier in the year. From that time on he became our contractor of choice. He replaced both stairways including new support stringers. As usual whenever situations come up, Edian was able to present a solution which made sense. Jacking up both decks and reinforcement was needed to level the deck structure. Composite material was used for decking, stairs and railing system. PVC for was employed for the risers and wrapping. The finished product reflects a high level craftsmanship and attention to detail. He did a great job.

Our front entries, although just 12 years old were becoming unsafe, rotted in certain areas and in need of major repair. Edian pays attention to details and takes pride in his work. He took the time to really understand the project and our needs and came up with the proper solutions within our budget. He made himself available for any questions and kept me updated on the progress of the work throughout the job. He also checked in with me after the job was done to make sure everything was okay. It was truly a pleasure to work with Edian and he is our number one guy for any future projects.

Excellent. Needed it done on very short notice (just hours), and they were able to accommodate this when no one else would. They were punctual and polite. The estimate came back in 24 hours, and was just what we needed in a tight time frame. We really appreciated the help and professionalism. No charge either.

Had an estimate for us in 24 hours, free of cost. The plan avoided unnecessary expenses, and really helped us when we were on a super tight schedule. Very happy with the end result.

Edian was incredibly responsive, in fact he came and looked at the door the same day I reached out to him. He was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He sent a quote within a few hours and we had the job scheduled less than week after he came to measure and look at it initially. Our condo association is very pleased with the work and the door that Edian and his team installed. He paid careful attention to detail with the trim around the door frame, so that it matched the old trim. We had a small glitch with the hardware (the lock-not Edian's fault) and he came within a few hours and replaced it. The door works perfectly and looks even better. I highly recommend using Alexis Home Remodeling and Edian. I plan on using them in the future when I need a contractor.

Working with Edian was the best experience I had working with a contractor. I didn't feel like he just wanted my money. It's all about the details and final touches for Edian. I get the feeling that he takes lots of pride in what he does. If will definitely be a repeat customer for future projects on my house. The only con is it took a little longer than expected to get a quote.

I am very pleased with the work that was done, they cleaned up each day even vacuumed the driveway. The inside of the house was left clean as well. I especially liked that he used quality parts: a custom (cut down) insulated fiberglass door, PCV trim, and a Schlage knob and dead bolt. He made sure that I was thoroughly satisfied with the operation of the door before he left. I worked really well. All of this was done within a day.

Edian Langa is a conscientious, talented and thoroughly trustworthy contractor. He has great communication skills and kept me informed every step of the way. Several other contractors were reluctant to give pricing on the proposed work because of the level of difficulty our building presented. Edian priced the job appropriately but wasn't overwhelmed by the scope of work. Staging was required on all 4 sides on our 3 story building to reach the trim and replace the gutter which he was able to to in just 2 sections. No small accomplishment. He was happy to share his wealth of building knowledge and offer suggestions as well as solutions as problems arose. The weather in April was rainy which caused Edian more unscheduled down time than he could have anticipated. He and his small crew more than made up the lost time by working late into the evening after early starts. He did an a great job and we plan to use him again to replace our front stairs in the future.

Alexis remodeling was very responsive and came the same day. He was caring and sympathetic and we will definitely use him again. He really saved us concerning getting the bunk beds installed for our two daughters. Top Notch service and work!

My attic pull down broke with all my Christmas presents in the attic, Eddie literally saved our Christmas! Eddie called back the same day that I called, came out to review the job two days later and was able to do the work the day after. The work was completed quickly and with great quality work. There was no clean up work required after he left either. I would most definitely use Alexis Remodeling for any future project that we have!

iEdian and his crew were easy to work with, consulted with me along the way and gave me good advice. They cleaned up after themselves each day and at the end of the project and finished in the month Edian had estimated it would take. They did good work . After he finished the bathrooms, I hired Edian to install a new storm door and do some repairs on my brick front steps.

My fantasy was a quick cheap fix for some weakened boards. The truth was I had a big, expensive, deteriorating and possibly dangerous condition. Edian Langa from Alexis Remodeling was thorough and detailed. He was attentive to my concerns but remained focused on needful outcomes. It was costly compared to my first ideas of what needed to be done, but way cheaper than other estimates. He was prompt, easy to work with, industrious, and very professional. My strong sturdy porch should last a lifetime. It is also, by the way, quite beautiful. Thank you Angie's List for the other contractors that were willing to come out and tell me the truth.

This project went extremely well from start to finish. Edian impressed me during our initial meetings about the project as highly professional with an eye towards detail and quality. We checked 3 of his references which were all positive. His estimate for the project was very competitive. He hired an architect that he often works with who designed a much improved (stronger) porch that what had stood there for the last 100 years. The project was complex and required a new foundation, replacement of a rotted center post inside of the building and raising a sagging flat roof. He promised to complete the project in 3 weeks from start-to-finish and delivered on that. The condo association is very pleased with his craftsmanship and after having hired many carpenters to work on our building over the last 10 years, I would say that Edian was hands-down the best we've had.

He seemed very rushed and I didn't like his professionalism and attitude.

Edian built a beautiful banister for our home. I had a time deadline and he was very accommodating especially since I called him with very short notice. He responded promptly and built it in one day. He had many elegant solutions to problems that the banister presented. We are very satisfied with the quality of his work and the promptness of his service.

Edian did a great job. He grasped all the problems and come up with good solutions. He has excellent knowledge of all aspects of construction, and he was great about communicating with us throughout the job. He and his assistant worked for four days (after a half day of getting parts). He also brought in an electrician and guttermaker when needed. He was fair and honest and didn't try to charge us for any "extras" e.g. when he installed the shed door he found that a new threshold was needed and he made one from concrete. All the work was done professionally and looks great. We were happy that he was not a one-man handyman because he could get the job done quicker and coordinate with specialists. We would definitely get in touch with him for our next job.

Edian was very responsive as we tried to figure out a time that worked for our busy schedule. He fixed our immediate issues with our screens quickly and gave a thorough evaluation of our gutters. He worked efficiently and explained our options in a way that was easy for us to understand. We will definitly work with him again.

Edian responded promptly to our request for an estimate and reviewed the prospective job. During the review, he pointed out some weaknesses in the deck structure (which were truly defects of the construction) that other contractors had missed, that might affect the integrity of the new decking. He made concrete suggestions for how to address these. He gave us an estimate that was competitively better than the other contractors, even with these additional pieces of work. We originally were going to put in composite decking but changed our mind. Edian accomodated the change and the added costs for the required material were reasonable. He and his crew were polite and efficient. They cleaned up the work site every day at the end. Along the way, some additional issues arose with respect to the desk infrastructure. He did a good job fixing these additional issues, and when there were additional charges required, these were reasonable. In his work, he did the little extra things that show craftsmanship and care about the work. At the end, the resultant product was well done and looked beautiful, and the overall deck is much stronger than before, so will likely last for years of additional use without problems. We look forward to using the deck this spring when the snow finally all melts (June?).
