Alexis Home Remodeling was absolutely exceptional. Not only were they thorough and patient during our walk through of the project for scoping, but they pointed out some very helpful tweaks to the project that will save me a huge headache down the line. They are incredibly knowledgeable and professional. They were wonderful to work with - easy to communicate with and very responsive. And to top it all off, my family is incredibly impressed with their work! They got the project done in a little under the time they had estimated and the outcome is honestly even better than we expected. I cannot wait to work with them again!

Highly recommend. I had a major sunroom repair with structural issues involved. Edian laid out the costs in advance, kept me updated with choices along the way that had to be made, and did very high quality work, all on time. Highly professional, timely, quality work--main carpenter has 28 years of experience, I believe! Nice people to work with as well.

Alexis was awesome. I paid him to fix one of my doors and he ended up fixing 2 free of charge. He also quoted me on a new deck all in the same appointment.

The crew was very respectful of our property and did a thorough clean up job upon construction was completed. The project was completed on time and on budget. Mr. Langa from Alexis Home Remodeling, replaced my front stair railings with Timbertech railings and Azek post sleeves. The service was excellent. Edian and his crew were so professional and kind. I say kind because we did not have a general contractor so Edian had to deal directly with me-the homeowner. I have no experience in project management and our kitchen project was a complete gut job-down to the studs including the floor. Edian was patient with me and discussed all my concerns - as small and as big with a smile and kindness. He even got down on the floor with me to discuss the threshold situation we had from tile to wood floor. No question was too stupid for him to answer. We had a huge delay midway thru the project -we discussed our options - made a plan and Edian followed through. Meaning he stopped our project for several weeks and returned on the day he said that he would. I can not say enough about the work. My kitchen is gorgeous. I would hire him again when we need more work done. I have done many renovations and at the end of the job - I hate the contractor—not this time. I would have him for dinner!!!!

The work that Edian did for our back porch was professional and solid. Edian did a nice job of guiding us through the process, making recommendations and insights into materials and options. He has years of experience. Great on the job, with only one other helper, clean and respectful of our yard and neighbors. We are pleased with the results and would hire Alexis Home Remodeling again for other projects.

Edian did an amazing job on our gutters, replacing and securing new custom made gutters and gutter guards on one side of our house. We had several people coming over the years to fix it, they have been bumped by trees, but nobody could find a solution. On the next heavy rain they were a mess. Edian was very creative to find a proper solution and fixed it perfectly. Not only does he work respectfully around the yard, but he works fast and very neat. Highly recommended for any work at your place!

BUYER BEWARE!! I wish I could give ZERO stars! On April 4/14/24 Mr. Edian Langa owner of Alexis Home Remodeling came to my home for an estimate for Front lower & upper porch replacement, including bottom of lower porch enclosure. By Tues Apr 23rd still no estimate (which I wasn’t expecting one tht soon) I texted Mr. Langa asking if he could also look at my Back porch ceiling to cover it with vinyl soffit, I texted a pic at his request. He then told me he could come take a look (at Back porch ceiling) “sometime that week”. By Fri afternoon Apr 26th I hadn’t heard back from Mr. Langa so I texted him, “did you forget about me?” He called with some excuse (too lame for me to remember) & we scheduled 2nd estimate for Sat Apr 27. Apr 27 he arrived, looked at Back porch ceiling, told me wht needed to be done, we agreed to put this project on a separate estimate from the 1st estimate (Front porches replacement). We also confirmed tht I would email him my materials preferences & color selections in which I did. By May 1st I had to text a friendly reminder for both estimates I still hadn’t rec’d. NO response. The text was Read by Mr. Langa (we both hv iPhones). On May 5th sent a friendly email inquiring the status of both estimates. NO response. From 4/14 (1st estimate) to today (5/16) NO estimates, NO responses back regarding estimates, therefore I had to get addt’l estimates from other companies. I cannot get back that time & energy tht was wasted with Mr. Langa stringing me along! Also, I question the validity of ALL OF THESE “5-Star” Reviews! FAKE reviews!! Today is 5/16/24, I have not heard a peep from Mr. Langa since our last conversation on 4/27. So based on Principle I sent him the following text message: Hello Mr. Langa, Hope all is well with you, but your lack of providing me an estimate proposal for the Rear porch ceiling/fascia build project, or for the Front lower & upper porch replacement project, coupled with NO response to my email (from 5/5) & text messages, tells me that you’re not interested in doing either project…which is totally fine. However, you could have just said that. Informed me tht you had no intention on doing either projects, so neither one of us continued to waste our time (as our 1st appt was over a month ago on 4/14). That’s the straightforward thing to do. It’s called PROFESSIONALISM! My review on Angi, Yelp, and Google will surely detail this lack of Respect for the customer/potential customer. Buyer Beware!! Ed is highly skilled and the workmanship was of the highest quality. All my questions were answered in a timely fashion. I am completely satisfied.

Great communication, Edian explained everything he was doing and showed us why we had problems and how was going to fix it. Our porch is our favorite part of the house and we can now look forward to many years of enjoyment.

Owner Edian Langa is a top-notch professional: knowledgeable, experienced, patient, and responsive. His work replacing two large windows was impeccable, and the carpentry finish work on the inside is perfect. His crew was polite and hardworking, and they all respected my home and property. So here's the thing: I'm picky. Not normal picky. OCD-level picky with psychosis-level picky layered on top. I also have very specific tastes. For instance, I prefer huge, large format tile over regular size tile. Even if that means it's three times more difficult to put up on the walls. All the way to the ceiling. With a 1/16th grout gap. Not 1/8th, 1/16th! Anyway, when I decided to undergo a major remodel of my home, I knew whichever contractor I chose would have their work cut out for them. Enter Edian and Alexis Home Remodeling. Edian is a straight talking, candid man who speaks his mind. The kind of guy who could trigger the more sensitive among us. Fortunately, that's not me. After we both got to know each other, we both realized the end result is what mattered most. The main focuses of the project were a gut remodel of the kitchen, transforming an upstairs bonus room into a bathroom, and structural work on the upstairs principal bedroom to raise the interior dormer entrance heights and reinforce the roof. It was all done with a high level of professionalism and quality, even when the inevitable surprises popped up (eg. the previous owner put down the old kitchen floor tile with plain old cement, which required days of jackhammering). Sure, Edian questioned some of my design choices ("who tiles all four walls of the kitchen?"), but in the end, the results are stunning. It took longer than either of us expected, partly because of the "surprises," partly because of my pickiness, and partly because adding a secret door in the kitchen isn't as simple as it sounds. But Edian I ended up as friends. Mainly due to the fact that we both value quality and honesty. Edian and Alexis Home Remodeling exemplify both.

Edian and his team were fantastic. Edian visited our house, discussed options and made some recommendations, but was completely open to tailoring our deck replacement project to our needs. In our case, we wanted a completely plain, basic deck -- pressure-treated, with no PVC skirting -- and composite decking. The project started exactly when he said it would, took exactly as long as he said it would, and cost . . . exactly what he said it would cost. The team kept the job site (our back yard) neat and well organized and their communication and description of what to expect was excellent. The work was absolutely fantastic and the finished product -- or new deck -- is exactly what we wanted.

Alexis Remodeling was excellent from the initial estimate, all the way through to job completion. I found Ed to be timely, very honest, and thorough. He was highly responsive to all inquiries and kept the schedule he committed to - factors I found really important, given how often contractors have commitment and scheduling difficulties. The finished job is fantastic. Ed holds a high standard for his own work and that of his team, which in combination with timeliness and honesty goes above and beyond.

We highly recommend Edian Alexis, of Alexis Home Improvement, who we worked with for a couple months to renovate our decks. Edian was amazing to work with--he is an incredibly talented craftsman, as well as being extremely professional, knowledgeable, skilled, flexible, and patient. He was always willing to take lots of time out to explain all of the choices he suggested (for example, why he recommends the particular brand of composite decking, why we had to go with particular railing choices for structural reasons, etc). We also had a tough time making design choices, and he was always very patient with us. We got quotes from a few different contractors, and he provided a very competitive quote. Edian's mother lives in JP, and he owns a home in Roslindale with his family; we appreciate that he lives in our community as well. When we were hiring a contractor, we wanted to choose someone that we could develop a long term relationship with and we are so glad we went with him. Last but not least, we are extremely happy with the outcome of his work (photos attached)! Everything came out even more beautiful than we had anticipated. We only have great things to say about him. The bathroom projects are a big WOW. Edian and his crew are professional and more. This was a tricky project because it entailed the coordination of both bathrooms in the condo. Edian and his crew managed it all with the most beautiful result.

My triple decker decks needed structural repair. Ed was very professional and a great communicator. He provided a fair estimate and was able to stick to the budget. The finished decks look great, and I would definitely hire him again!

Awesome! Edian, David and team were very professional and easy going and funny. They were knowledgeable about the installation and answered all questions. They were very respectful of the house, even keeping an eye out for the cat. They were quick and very neat and clean. Would definitely recommend and use them again. 5 stars.

From start to finish I’ve never worked with anyone more professional. Edian Keep me posted, made sure I was satisfied and executed top-notch work. He even was willing to perform extra work at my request in order to make sure I was 100% satisfied. It is no exaggeration to say you would be lucky to have him working for you
