Description of Work: I called Anthony when a plumber was unable to clear my clogged kitchen drain. I should have called a drain company in the first place. The plumber charged me a ridiculous amount of money to work on my drain for an hour, then tell me it needed to be jetted out. Anthony cleared it in about fifteen minutes without jetting it. |Other reviewers have commented on the fact that he keeps in touch with customers by text. I found this extremely helpful - to know where he was at different times of the day and that I was his next stop - so that I could plan accordingly and not wonder if he would still be able to come out that day or not. |I won't hesitate to call him again if I have a problem.

Description of Work: FYI - I got Tony's name from a JP neighbor's list serve referral - not from Angie;s List! Then I was poking around for another purpose and thought I'd see if he is here - fingers crossed. and here he is!! To start: From the very beginning Tony has very good communications - text sure makes this easy, but many trades people do not communicate well, even now that it is so easy. Tony gives minute by minute text updates as he learns a new detail. To get the job going/estimated - Tony's asst came over a few days before to assess a fairly complicated gas fitting job so that an old line for 3 stoves could supply 2 new stoves on that line. Good thing they did come over since it was complicated and required some planning. A few days later, Tony and team arrived and worked magic on a very old gas line that was in the wrong location for the new stove and had to be moved from the basement up to the 2nd floor. Then they hooked up a new dishwasher. All along Tony and his very professional crew were courteous, respectful, neat, quiet and thorough. While it is hard to say what someone else might have charged, I feel the $800 was fair for all of the work and a team of 3 for most of the day, then 2 at the end for some smaller details. I would surely use him again!! Tony is so professional, that when I asked him to look at another job, he said he was too busy to respond in a timely way, so he referred me to another plumber - that is the mark of a true professional!

Description of Work: Tony did a great job. He had to come back with a different piece of equipment because the snake didn't clear my main drain but he finished the work the same day and a very reasonable price.

Description of Work: cleaned out a blocked sewer drain which was backing up into the basement. he was familiar with old houses and knew that there was a trap under the foundation which he was able to get beyond with great difficulty. he identified the problem and offered reasonable solutions so that it will not recur.

Description of Work: I have to write this follow up!! I have 3 apartments in my house and I had a clog on Friday Jan 18 in one of my apartments on the 2nd floor and they came right away and did a super job. Their service tech Duane was super cheerful, neat and well organized. THEN the very next day, my tenant on the 1st floor [ right below ] had a clog. Rather than check the clog, I assumed [ wrongly ] that the clean out from Friday caused the clog the next day for the apartment 1 floor down. Duane came out right away to look at the clog in the 2nd apartment and together we could see that the disposal was not working (I should have checked, and usually do but I was so sure that the other clog caused this one so I didn’t check 1st - 'my bad' as they say these days} so right there with Duane [from Drain Flow Drain Cleaning ] I simply pressed the disposal re-set button and bingo the disposal worked and the drain cleared in a nano second !! Imagine how stupid I felt! I could have checked that disposal the day before, pressed the re-set button and saved Duane /Drain flow the trouble of the call back. Then imagine my very pleasant surprise when Duane smiled and said there would be no charge! ! ! My jaw dropped. I made the stupid mistake of not checking the disposal and yet, Duane said “no charge, that's how we are. We want you to be happy" WELL I sure am happy and Duane/Drain flow has a customer for life!!! I am so glad they gave me a magnet so I can find their number easily!!! [owning an old house sure has its days of repairs after repairs, so when it's a good day like this one I want to go on and on about a great new service !! THANK YOU GUYS !!!! 8-] 8-]

Description of Work: Wow they came fast. I called and they were here less than an hour. They fixed the problem and I was surprised to learn that a brand new disposal I had just paid $500 to replace was installed with the wrong size pipe! They said That unless the right size pipe is put in place, it will clog again. They take credit cards. Very good experience.

Description of Work: I called because the upstairs bathroom sink drain was blocked. Anthony came in about an hour and a half (he was out on another call when I contacted him). He snaked the sink, unblocking it, and replaced a piece of pipe that was corroded to the point of failure (it couldn't be reattached without leaking).

He has always been fair in his pricing, courteous and professional and extremely meticulous in the work performed. His Assistant Dwayne has been the same way. Description of Work: Cleaned our washing machine drain. It was very tricky. We have a stackable unit in a closet. He tried to snake it from inside and had to squeeze in between the washer and dryer to do it. However, there was a valve blocking the pipe, so he had to break through the wall in the utility room to access the pipe on the other side of the valve.

Description of Work: I found Tony through Yelp and had him tune up our boiler a few months ago. This time, he fixed a leaky kitchen sink faucet, slow bathroom sink and tried to determine why our bathtub drains slowly. He corrected the leaky faucet and slow sink no problem. After troubleshooting our slow bathtub drain (snaking, etc.) the tub does drain better now. However, he did let me know that since our pipes are 100+ years old and made of galvanized steel, snaking is a temporary solution. If we continue to be plagued with a slow drain, he mentioned we may want to consider replacing the pipe. His recommendation is aligned with what another plumber told us last year.

Description of Work: . My kitchen sink had clogged and they cleared it out with no problem, replacing a small piece of PVC in the process. They even threw in a better quality sink stopper and recepticle than I had.

Description of Work: I've had this nagging main drain issue w/a rental property & kitchen water from the upstairs apts would back up into the tenants bathtub (horrible mess) drain on the 1st floor. My plumber & a handyman both tried snaking to no avail. I was under the impression by my normal plumber that I needed to pull the toilet in the apt to get access to the main drain (costing $400).
