Mike was able to come out for an estimate quickly and showed up on time. He had to order the skylight, which took a couple weeks, but was out with his team to do the installation within a few days of the skylight arriving. He and his crew were quick, friendly and professional. When some rain interrupted their work they went for coffee, waited it out, then came back to finish as soon as it cleared up rather than giving up and waiting for another day as I suspect some other people might have done. Mike stuck to his estimate and didn't require any payment from me until the work was completed to my satisfaction, which was another pleasant surprise. I wouldn't hesitate to use Viola Roofing again or to recommend them to others.

Great job, they did it again. I used them a couple of weeks previously on another building I own and was so impressed that I asked them to put a gutter on my garage. They showed up within days and did a great job on budget.

Fantastic service and work quality! I am a landlord. I had some shingle damage and thus a roof leak. For a roofer this was a small repair but for me it was a bad leak. I scheduled an appointment for an estimate. They moved the appointment sooner without my asking (Same Day!) becasue they were concerned that a lot of rain was forcast. They showed up ON TIME, FIXED it and charged less than estimated. Mike and his crew are one of the best contractors I have ever used. I own a few companies and can only hope my people are as nice and professional and competent as Viola Roofing. I will definitely use them again.

I called Viola Roofing based on the stellar reviews on Angie's List. Mike was responsive to my email, came out quickly for the estimate and sent the written estimate in a timely fashion. I had expected a much higher price for my roof and was blown away by his price and description of services offered. I had called a couple other roofers on Angie's List but chose Viola Roofing without having the others out. It took about a month from the time of the estimate for his crew to come do the job which was a little nerve wracking because the roof was actively leaking but I got a really good feeling from Mike and was more than happy to wait for him to get to me. After all, if he is as good as his reviews said, of course there would be a back log. Furthermore, it has been a wet Spring and roofers need dry weather to do a roofing job. Mike and his crew showed up early on a Friday morning and said it would take 2 days. Soon after he showed up, the dumpster was delivered to my driveway and his crew proceeded to strip the roof and replace it. I was surprised when I got a call late in the afternoon from Mike telling me the job was done. I asked him if he wanted me to come home so I could pay him but he said would come back the next day. I arrived home and was thrilled to see my new roof. I can't remember being happier with a contractor! The roof is gorgeous with architectural shingles and a ridge vent. I'm a real estate agent and have seen many, many roofs and have been to countless home inspections so I know what to look for in a roof and Mike and his crew did a flawless job. My friends and clients ride by and compliment his work. Keep up the good work, Mike, and as promised, I'll tell everyone who will listen what a great job you and your crew do!

Mike Viola and crew arrived early morn at the site, went right to work, and completed the job in about five hours. It is a small roof, so the timing is about right. All in all, it was a pleasant experience, and I would not hesitate to recommend VIOLA ROOFING of Hull, MA to others, and, as for myself, to satisfy all my roofing needs.

Mike showed up on time for the estimate and answered my questions completely. The crew started work on time each day. Mike reviewed the project , with me, when it was complete in order to insure that I was satisfied. The crew cleaned up, completely, both days. The crew was professional and efficient. If it wasn't for the noise on the roof, I would not know that they were there. The job was completed ahead of schedule. The roof looks great.

Mike and his team were great to work with. Impending rain and snow storm prompted Mike to schedule our job a little earlier to prevent any further internal damage. Clean-up each day for a 2 1/2 day job. Returned to resolve an issue around a window and change the direction of gutter install at no additional cost. Thank you Mike.

They were very thorough and professional. When Mike came out to give me an estimate, he talked with me about the pros and cons of putting shingles over the existing roof versus putting on a brand new roof. He gave me an estimate for both and I opted to put shingles over the existing roof. When he came out to do the job, he also cleaned out a gutter downspout and adjusted the gutter so that the water would flow better. He did all the gutter work for me at no extra charge. The roofing job was very well done and I even got compliments from my neighbors. Overall, I was very happy with this company and would highly recommend them.

Mike and his crew put on a new roof, skylight and 2 sun tunnels. Mike has a very pleasant demeanor. Very layed-back, but he is concerned with doing a good job and with the customer being happy. His estimate was right on. He was responsive from beginning to end. His pricing was very good - actually a bit better than the competition. He included cost of skylight, carpentry on interior for skylight, and sun tunnels with the roof for $13,800 and 2 other quotes were $13,500 for just the roof. He was a bit delayed due to rain in starting the job, but one they started it took 3 days. We were away for all of it, which worked out well as I have 2 small children. The roof looks great. The skylights and suntunnels are great. There were a few items I noticed did not get done (dirt in sun tunnel and rainspout corners reattached) and Mike came out to take care of it within 2 days. They accidentally broke a snow globe, but Mike asked me to subtract the cost of the item from his check. Overall a very clean, professional job. I also had a wall repaired inside my home - new drywall. The guys did a pretty good job, but not perfect. I'd give them a B and Mike an A-.

He is a nice and easy going guy. He is also trustworthy and dependable. I was having a difficult time with finding a roofer. Mike answered all of my questions and concerns, which I was very appreciative of. I don't think that I could have found a better man for the job.

Good communications about estimate and signing of contract. A big crew came an completed the job quickly. Cleanup was almost perfect.

I was very satisfied. They were responsive, efficient and economical. They were nice to work with. They came, did the job and cleaned up afterward. It was something that not everyone could do because not all roofers can do flat roofs.

This company was fine. They provided good service for me. There was a small problem, and they took care of it immediately. Everything went well.

Job went well, left site clean and completed. Approx 3500 sq ft roofing project in two days, including removing old roof. All workers were polite & friendly. Recomment & would use again.

he is good ! i will use him again. just one thing ! he told me he will come back for re-inspection but he did not keep his word !

Mike took the time to look around, and talk about the history of some old repairs. He got up on his ladder to look around, explained what was going wrong, and told us we didn't need any expensive work. (!) He could have told us we needed a new roof & gutters, and we would have believed every word. So we're definitely going to call him when we DO need those. Very highly recommended.

I needed a new roof as our old roof was approaching 25+ years in age. I got the typical 3 estimates and I selected Viola as he seemed the most knowledgeable, provided a step by step process, and had the most competitive bid. Mike and his crew were courteous and professional at all times. He actually showed up early to start the job and took less time than projected. After going through hell this year with a mason on another home project, it was nice to deal with a contractor who actually did what he said he was going to do.

Viola Roofing did a superb job replacing my roof. They were meticulous from start to finish. They came when they were supposed to and finished sooner than expected. They left my property cleaner than when they started the job! You could not find one nail or shingle on the ground and all my yard decorations were returned to their spots neatly. The best part of dealing with them was their punctuality. Then came when they said they would and finished when they said they would. I would highly recommend them for your roofing needs. I have referred several people to them and have received nothing but praise for their performance.

The roof was in really bad shape, the shingles were discolored and showing wear. Tar seams were cracked and parted in some areas and shingles around the vents were curling up and completely loose in some areas. Mike provided 2 options and sent samples of the shingles to us through the mail, (which arrived quickly). He showed up when he said he would and the entire project went smoothly.
