If I had to say a place in this area to buy appliances, I would say I'd be inclined to use this company before any others. I have gotten so much stuff from them at really good prices and I just think they're good to their customers. I would send people there to buy any major appliances.

Excellent. They were prompt, courteous, upfront about costs, and did what they said they would ...AND, the washer now works, the best compliment of all.

They were on time, took the door off the freezer and unclogged the freezer. Great price! When I gave him the model number, he advised me that it was probably clogged, which saved me money.

Alas, our toddler put a plastic cutting board in our oven. I turned the oven on and proceeded to cook dinner, until the smoke alarm went off. I opened the oven door to find a melting plastic cutting board dripping over the racks and down to the bottom of the oven. When cool the plastic was hard as a rock and appeared to be dripping down into the bottom of the oven. Help! I checked the list and called McPhail Appliance. Mr. McPhail was able to come out the next day (prompt service!) and clean it out. He also shared information about the self-cleaning feature of the oven.

I called McPhail Appliance when my dryer stopped working. They called me back promptly, and made an appointment with me to come out the same day and look at the dryer. The technician arrived during the time interval we specified, was courteous and professional. He let me know I needed a belt and it would be in about a week and gave me an estimate for the total cost. They called me later that week and said the part was in, and we specified a time interval in which they would arrive. The friendly technician once again arrived on time, quickly replaced the part, and the total was what the 1st technician had indicated. I had a very positive experience with them and would recommend them.

He explained it all to me and got the piece in even though it's an older washer and did a great job. I think it's great when someone explains to you the reasons why things happen. Very professional and educational. It's a nice thing to do. I really trust them and I think trust is really important.

Great. Immediate response and near immediate appointments that fit my schedule. Also educational.

William arrived on time, listened to the machine, and then told me that there didn't seem to be a noise problem compared to other machines. He provides a 30 day warranty so if I notice it again in that time frame, he will come back at no additional charge for a house visit.

They were efficient, on time, and polite. The workman even left the old parts in case the machine broke at some point in the future.

They came when they said they would. They were very pleasant. Reasonably priced. It was a little difficult reaching them, but not terrible.

They called back the day we left a message, made an appointment for the next day, and showed up on time. Turned out that the plastic parts found inside the washer were not actually parts that had fallen off the washer, and there wasn't actually anything wrong with the appliance. The technician was very nice in explaining that the plastic parts had probably been kicking around inside the dishwasher since we bought the house several years ago. He also explained that we should increase our water temperature to make the dishwasher more effective.

I've used McPhail many times since I was first referred to them over 8 years ago. They always arrive promptly, are very clear about what is needed and the cost, always respond to voice mail messages, and are extraordinary courteous, professional and honest. Their costs are reasonable and the work is under warranty. Great people, great company.

Excellent! Very responsive - called me back same day and came out next day. Friendly, knowledgeable, and non-intimidating employees of, what I came to learn, is a family run business. I had an electrical surge that burnt out a component on my oven and they came out to assess the issue, then promptly ordered the parts and called me back when they arrived (within a few days - I didn't have to chase them!) to set up an appointment to install. Arrived promptly and installed parts quickly, cleaned up after themselves and even saved me some additional money by reusing one of the parts that ended up not being broken. Would definitely use them again!

MY CALL WAS RETURNED PROMPTLY AND PAUL MCPHAIL WAS ON TIME FOR THE APPOINTMENT. HIS INITIAL DIAGNOSIS OF THE DISHWASHER PROVED INCORRECT, SO HE DISCOUNTED THIS FROM HIS BILL. HE DID A VERY THOROUGH JOB ON THE DRYER, ORDERED A PART AND RETURNED IN A FEW DAYS TO REPLACE IT. HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE.

THESE GUYS ARE AMAZING. HARD TO REACH TO SCHEDULE AN APPT, BUT WORTH IT. FAIRLY PRICED, CONSCIENTIOUS, KNOWLEDGEABLE, TAUGHT ME A LOT, NOT ONLY ABOUT MY DRYER, BUT ABOUT MY WASHER AND FRIDGE! VERY CAREFUL, DETAIL ORIENTED. I HAVE USED THEM BEFORE, AND WILL CONTINUE TO USE THEM FIRST.

VERY RESPONSIVE. PROMPT, HONEST, SAVED US MONEY BY FINDING A PART THAT WAS CHEAPER THAN THEY ORIGINALLY ESTIMATED. FIRST PART ACTUALLY ENDED UP BEING DEFECTIVE; THEY RETURNED IT TO THE MANUFACTURER AS IT WAS UNDER WARRANTY; AND GOT US A NEW PART, AND RE-INSTALLED AT NO CHARGE.

MCPHAIL RETURNED OUR CALL WITHIN AN HOUR AND SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT FOR A TIME THAT WORKED WITH OUR SCHEDULE. PAUL CAME ON TIME, WORKED QUICKLY, AND GAVE US INPUT ON SOME OTHER REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE WE ARE PLANNING. WE WERE VERY PLEASED. THE PRICE SEEMED REASONABLE FOR A HOUSE CALL AND THE TIME IT TOOK TO DO THE WORK.
