The guts were replaced in 4 toilet tanks. It took the tech under 1 hour to preform the service. I was shocked at the price!

The old boiler and steam heat system was removed by my asbestos removal contractor so Rodenhiser was starting from scratch. Everyone I spoke with at Rodenhiser was a pleasure to deal with. Their receptionist was always courteous and friendly. My sales representative had a good understanding of the technology and was very helpful is configuring the right systems for my application. The installers and service technicians were always on time, professional, and respectful of my wishes. I was impressed with the creativity of the installers in finding ways to route the duct work with minimal impact on the structure and finishes of my house. It took 11 working days to complete all the work. I have been working with the Mass Save program and Rodenhiser took care of all the paperwork including the loan application, rebate documents, and registering the American Standard products so that I received the full ten year warranty. They made the paperwork part of the process as painless as possible. After the installations were completed I had two issues that were quickly taken care of by Rodenhiser's service technicians. When running the condensate drain line from the attic space to the basement the installer forgot to remove tape that was placed on the end of the drain hose causing water to back up and fill the drain pan in the attic. Secondly the system needed to be rebalanced to prevent a cold spot in the living room and a warm spot in one of the bedrooms. I have been very happy with my decision to use Rodenhiser and I will be using them again in the future.

Rodenhiser notified me that my boiler had to be shut down due to the level of carbon monoxide emissions. I had no problem with this as the level exceeded safe levels and the law mandates that it be shut down. What happened next is what I have a major problem with. I asked whether the unit could be serviced/cleaned as I had never done this in the 15 years I had owned the house. I was told it was possible but would cost me $4500 with no guarantee it would do the trick. I was encouraged to talk to a member of their sales team about replacement. Miraculously, the sales person was available that same day! He was in my basement for barely 2 minutes before he launched into his sales pitch about the high efficiency boiler I should buy which would cost me $15,000 ($13,500 after rebates). I asked whether there was any other brand of high efficiency boiler they sold that might be less expensive. His answer was no, they only sell this brand and all else are crap. I asked for estimates for lower efficiency boilers and it was like I let the air out his balloon. He reluctantly discussed some options but it was like he couldn't wait to hit the road. Here's the punchline. I called a local plumber at the recommendation of a neighbor. He couldn't have been a nicer, more honest, and professional. He asked me why I wanted to replace the boiler and had I considered services/cleaning. I told him that's where I started but was told it wasn't possible or would cost too much to justify. He practically laughed when he saw the $4500 servicing estimate from Rodenhiser. He said he was reasonably certain he could service the unit but did recommend the expansion tank and some other parts be replaced. He said it was up to me but, if it were him, he would give the servicing a try before spending thousands on a new boiler. After spending $700 on the servicing (*not* the $4500 Rodenhiser said it would cost) I now have a perfectly working boiler that is emitting no carbon monoxide. I don't know anything about the quality of work Rodenhiser does because I didn't use them. However, from a pure honesty/professionalism perspective, I would not recommend them to anyone.

He was punctual, fast, professional. I had called Rodenheiser for work on my AC in the past, and they have always been reliable and professional.

The service went well. The technician was prompt and polite and explained each step.

Being almost 65 years old, I grew it a time when people people provided quality service at a fair price. These days I am often disappointed. Todays visit by Brian Hero, the technician for my A/C tune up from Rodenhiser Plumbing-Heating-Air Conditioning was exactly what I had hoped for ...and more. Brian was very punctual, neat, friendly and most helpful in addressing my concerns and questions. The service was done thoroughly, neatly and efficiently and I am fully confident in the work performed; its quality and accuracy. I didn't have problems with my A/C, but do believe in preventative maintenance and after today's service call with Rodenhiser, and especially Mr. Hero, my future service calls will be going to Rodenhiser. What I particularly appreciate is the fact that I was not encouraged to spend more money for services (that I probably didn't need) and that I was assured that my A/C system was in excellent working order and no problems were found. The very reasonable fee was well worth it considering the peace of mind I now have that I don't have to worry about problems. Rodenhiser Plumbing Heating and Air-Conditioning gets 5 gold stars from me, and Brian Hero left with a bunch of fresh baked chocolate chip cookies. A great guy from an excellent company.

I did use Rodenhiser Plumbing, Heating & A/C. They have done a couple of things.

Basically came out, took $75 and left. 6/9 - Sent a refund check for $75

It went very well. They came earlier then expected to install units which was a good thing because it was very hot. Installation took 2 days. They were neat and cleaned up after themselves. The 2nd day they didn't show up until 10am, they claim they had a meeting in their office that their office should have told us about. Other then that, they were out standing. Expensive, but great workers and great products. Very satisfied. I would recommend them to others.

Good prompt service but just an expensive come out estimate fee that then compelled/required me to go through with the final purchase even though I knew I was being raked over the coals.

It went well. They were a little late but I received a phone call ahead of time to let me know. They were very courteous. Cost wise I think they were a little high.

It was very good with Rodenhiser. They took care of my problem and they were fair in their pricing. They did it in a timely fashion and all. They were very quick.

Plumber was personable and professional, did the requested work very well, and cleaned up afterwards. He kept us informed as to what he was doing and why, so there weren't any surprises when he had to cut a hole in the wall and ceiling to install code-required venting (which hadn't been present). One note - we did later realize that the supply lines for the clawfoot tub had been installed without the floor bezels, which we would have preferred to have had installed during the work.

Chuck and Dave were excellent. They were at my home right on time. Chuck explained what he was going to do and they worked hard to get the job done. I was very pleased with the work and they left the house spotless. I would definitely hire again.

They are easy to schedule with, show up on time, and fix the problem. Office staff is friendly and helpful.

They were prompt and reliable. They came and assessed the problem and gave several options at different budget levels. Once I selected the option that best fit our home, they scheduled installation within a day. The technician was very professional. I would highly recommend them.

Called company to have a plumber come out to repair a leak around base of toilet which I thought to be the seal. I had to wait almost a week for the appointment. When the tech came to fix the toilet, he said it was company practice to review all of the plumbing equipment in the home which took over a 1/2 hour. He then went back to the truck and came back with a 6-option estimate to repair and install over $4,000 worth of work including replacing a water heater and installing a water filter. Another 1/2 hour for this review. I decided to only get the toilet repaired, which turned out to be the seal which took tech only 15 minutes to finish. The charge was $ 422. He wanted another $222 just to repair a slow drip in a Moen faucet. After he left, a small drip developed behind the toilet at the water shut-off. When I called the Company, they suggested that this may be an unrelated problem which may involve another service charge and that I would have to wait a week to get a tech to come back. They came out sooner after I complained and the Tech said that he had originally installed what turned out to be a defective part so there was no charge. I feel that the $ 422 charge was to recover, in part, the time the tech took to try to up sell me on the $ 4000 in repairs/upgrades. Also I was disappointed in the long wait for the initial and subsequent appointments when there was an active water leak.

The service went great from start to finish. I have used the company for about 10 years. They also maintain the system. They provide excellent customer service. The technicians are all very professional and friendly. They are always very punctual and easy to schedule with.

Technician was very professional and courteous. He performed Hot air furnace troubleshooting, performed a bunch of different tests, finally determined that the controller board was bad. Provided quote for controller board. I ended up buying and replacing the board myself.

It went perfectly all the way through - I couldn't be more pleased. I had gotten several other estimates and Rodenhiser was by far the most professional in knowledge and presentation. Rick P. worked with me to find the best options and price. The installers, especially Darin C. and Tom W., were professional and hard-working. They showed up on time and worked straight through every day. They were polite, friendly and neat. Darin made sure the job ran smoothly, explained everything, answered my questions, and made some very helpful suggestions.
