Rodenhiser's office staff was not able to give me a price right away, and once I received a call back, I was told that they don't give out pricing on refrigerant over the phone. A service call would need to be set up. I had already had the system checked out, and I was just looking for the best company to complete the service. To not give a price, it gave me pause. I ended up finding a company locally that was priced at $100/lb, and they informed me that they mark up the refrigerant by 3x. They have a customer for life, and they will get my next major purchase.

Shower repair went well after a long wait to check for parts availability. A/C tune up went well, but refrigerant recharge was expensive due to yhe fact that the unit needed refrigerant which is no longer used.

They came ahead of schedule! The repairman was professional and explained the issue. Multiple quotes were offered. Would use again.

Their team is always prompt, professional and knowledgeable. I do feel their prices are a little on the high side. When I had a condensate pump replaced, I felt that I was overcharged. However, their work is always clean and solid. I continue to use them for service on my heating/cooling.

They were very thorough. There was one person who was very experienced. I was very pleased. We'd had another person in earlier and they diagnosed that there was not enough freon. So this probably means it's not a problem with the condenser outside or the freon but with this fan. So I was very happy with them. I think their company is growing and they have a lot of customers. They gave me a time of 1 to 4 and got here at 4:40. I called them when they were late.

June 3, 2016- Rodenhiser Plumbing HVAC cost to diagnose and charge home central air conditioner $593.25 Rodenhiser personnel were prompt and professional. Based upon your reported figures, $593.25 seems high. Work done efficiently and effectively.

They did no show up at our 1st appointment scheduled with the office, no calls and no follow ups. I called again to find out on why they did not come and the office said that my appointment was not on the schedule. Obviously someone screwed this up. I got an appointment again for the following Monday. This time they showed up. The guy was nice and professional but the price was not very nice at all. $$$872.52 for an hour job! Wow!! I was really impressed buy the price. I gently declined the service and paid the 75 dollars call for the guy to come here. I called another plumber to make sure I was getting a fair price for the job his price was $285!!! That's 3 times more expensive! For sure wont go back to this company for my next service!

All work done quickly and professiionally. Everything explained in detail. They explained the benefits of upgrading our original furnace to a more efficient model and showed how we can qualify for the maximum rebate from Mass Save.

The repairman came out, took one look at the pipe, and knew exactly what was wrong. He replaced that section of pipe in less than 30 minutes. He stayed long enough to turn the water back on and check the flow to several faucets. He also gave me a rough estimate of the cost of fixing two other plumbing issues, one of which will require an excavator. In an hour, I had water again, plus a better idea of what to fix next. My only complaint is a common one. When you need a plumber, it's hard to find one, because there are a lot of other old houses that also need emergency help. The first place I called said they could come on Sunday, but due to a rash of emergencies they didn't. I called Rodenhiser on Sunday night, and they said they could come out Monday afternoon. At 4pm, they said they needed to postpone for another day, but they eventually agreed to come after dinner. They did, promptly, and they did a great job.

It was a young guy that had come and he did a bunch of stuff. One of the things that we had asked to be done, was not done correctly, but when he came back, he did not charge for that additional visit. I would definitely use them again.

It was as expected. I think something worthwhile is they kind of gave me four or so different options at different levels of price points and explained the pros and cons of each. That was pretty useful. It was two days of work, No complaints there it was clean.
