It was an expensive fix for a seemingly simple job but I trust Rodenhiser to do the job right the first time. I was disappointed that something broke on a relatively new furnace but it wasn't equipment Rodenhiser had installed or recommended so I can't fault them at all.

The initial meeting, estimation process, selection process, design and installation went as or better than expected. Sales - knowledgeable, good ideas on placement of units and use of branchbox Installation - scheduled fast, performed on time. The technicians were great to work with..they were knowledgeable and often suggested alternative approaches to minor issues that arose (as they always do in projects). They were polite, respectful, and cleaned up thoroughly. We were very happy overall with Rodenhiser.

They did an excellent job, no complaints at all on the work. I just feel over priced due to some other work I had done since. Buyer beware.

Installation was great. I had to call the company back to fix two thermostats that were not working. The first techie did not know enough about the wiring (maybe 23 yrs old from the previous unit's install) so he had another techie come the following day to fix it. ALL works OK!!!

From estimates through cleanup, everything was extremely courteous and professional! Follow-up, too, was thorough!$

Good Sales, Good Service, disappointing installation experience. You can pick a seemingly great company, but you cannot pick the company's installers which end up being critical to the whole experience and underlying investment. Contrary to HVAC experience with Sila, who managed the installation experience equal to the sales experience.

After the frustration of having to install a new water heater after <7 years and just a few months beyond the warranty date (our previous one was 14 years old as comparison). They came and installed the water heater and a new disposal. They were nice, courteous and done pretty quickly as usual. Was great until I started a load of laundry when I went in to our basement to toss the clothes in the dryer, I stepped in a pool of water. The technicians never put the washer outlet hose back into the drain (which they used to drain the water heater) and our carpet was soaked. I called the emergency line and Liane-Alyse was great in helping to coordinate one of their guys to come out to make sure that our basement was flooded and started to take care of arranging for a company to come out to make sure the floors were dried up and put back together. Dan (?) the manager was great and the flood restoration guys were great, and I guess my only frustration was the guy that came out to confirm that our floors were flooded, kinda complained that he was missing time with his kids to come out for this (my floor was flooded and I had to spend extra time taking care of this, which was also time away from my son). They did refund $250. Overall, I think they handled the screw up professionally, but I still go back to the original issue that I was given a bad water heater from a good company and the whole service call should not have been necessary.

The price was not merely high, it was outrageously, unprofessionally high! I did not proceed with the job. Buyer beware of this company’s price gouging!

Scheduling and managing service calls during busy periods doesn’t appear to be in their wheelhouse. I called other providers who were up front, explaining they were too busy with heating emergency calls (my problem was not an emergency). Rodenhiser said they could handle the work, but then kept postponing, after two days of that (and taking time from work waiting for a service technician who never showed) I found someone else.

Made an appointment nearly a month before service date, mentioned that I found them at Angie's List & received confirmation for 1-4 PM arrival. Rodenhiser called the day before to confirm & asked if I would be available if they come earlier than 1 PM, I said yes & started waiting from noon. Just before 4 PM, they called to say that they won't make the 1-4 PM window & said they will come between 5-6. They called again at 5:16 PM & said that they will come in 30-45 minutes. It's past 7:30 PM when I write this, technician never came & nobody called. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!

I don't remember the name of the electrician who came out to the house but he quickly diagnosed and fixed our problem. Because the problem involved incorrect wiring, he also took the time to look at other electrical outlets in the home, particularly in our son's room, to ensure they were all done correctly. Additionally, he took the time to talk through a potential, future, lighting project that I had in mind. He was very polite and helpful and I appreciated his thoroughness.

They were easy to schedule and kept me informed as to when they arrived. They quoted $445 on site which is much more than I anticipated, Wanting the washer and dryer installed ASAP I said go ahead. When they finished I asked them if they left the shipping bolts. They said there were none. I asked if they tested the machines. They hadn't, flippantly claiming that if they did not work it was the appliance and not their work. The total time at the house was about 45 minutes (charged $445). First time we used the washer, the whole machine started to shake violently enough that we shut it down. I looked in the manual and lo and behold there were shipping bolts (keeps the drum from spinning when shipping). I called them back, they came out, were apologetic about their mistake (different person), removed shipping bolts and testied the washer for an entire cycle. All is well now, but do not plan on using them again given their pricing.

Professional, services for both plumbing and AC were excellent

They responded quickly and were able to get a replacement in the same day. They did a good job but because we were in a jam, I feel they were way overpriced.

Sales rep arrived promptly, answered all questions clearly, gave us two different price options, and did not push us for an immediate commitment. The installation team was overseen by two seasoned staff. They were able to connect our solar hot water panels to the new system, which another firm said could not be done. All the work was completed on time, and they showed us how every component worked. Their office is handling the paperwork for our rebate for replacing a furnace that was more than 30 years old. From our experience, this is a professional organization, with competent staff at every level. Their price seemed a little high, but the quality of the work justified it.

This was obviously an urgent repair. They were responsive and repaired same day. Pricing seemed high and laid out options for warranty and maintenance. Was a little hard to isolate the minimum costs.

It went well. They arrived punctually in the morning and worked straight until the evening. Finished on-time and on-budget.

Replaced blown capacitor and recharged system.

It was a followup from the installation. It didn't cost me anything. They're just really great. We really like them. I would recommend them to a friend. I would recommend them to an enemy. It's good to be nice. They are reliable, dependable, and professional. They were here for about an hour and a half. They didn't really need to clean up, but they've always cleaned up really well. He's a nice guy. They have very good communication.

Very professional and efficient. A bit pricey, but we had no complaints otherwise. Everything was left clean and in good working order.
