He was very professional and kept his word. He gave prompt responses and had a neat appearance. He left the worksite so that you hardly knew he was there.

Had 2 Sunsetter awnings installed, one 10 ft and one 14 ft. Also opted for additional sun shade for front porch. Prices are set by Sunsetter so no real negotiation available. Don normally charges $350 installation fee each but since I had 2 on same day, he waived the second fee. Awnings were delivered within a week from manufacturer to my home. Don and his son arrived early on scheduled day and had installed both within 4 hours. They tested each multiple times to insure that they worked well. Operation and care was explained thoroughly. Completely satisfied with whole process. Would definately recommend them.

Saw the high rating on Angies List, called and left a message and had a call back from Don Mitchell the same day, we promptly set up the service date, he arrived as planned and was professional. I would definitely use him again for repair or a new install.

The experience with Mitchell Garage Door was fantastic. Don returned calls promptly as well as arrived right on time as scheduled. He began working immediately and completed removal of and installation in about 4 hours. Don was completely honest and provided great service without looking to increase costs. I had purchased a new garage door lift to be installed at the same time as the new garage door. Don examined the existing lift and didn't specifically see a reason to replace it. He asked about my reasons for having a new lift and I explained I was looking for something with a battery backup since there was no access to the garage other than through the garage door itself, posing a problem when the power went out. Don offered a manual, key-based solution costing a mere $20.00, and I was able to return the lift I had purchased, saving me $350.00.

The entire project went very well. He showed up when promised and performed the entire job effeciently and professionally. The doors look and work great.

Working directly with the owner was a pleasure. Don Mitchell provided an an accurate estimate and then ordered our new doors without requiring any downpayment. He installed the doors on the scheduled day and they look and operate great! I feel I received a great value for the money spent.

Contacted owner on first attempt. Summarized the issue and after listening, he explained that cable replacement may not be possible, but that arm replacement was most likely. Provided recommendations and suggestions, even after it was determined that the prospect of work for the company was low. OVERALL: knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. NOTE: would consider this company for garage door work, as well, as a result of this initial experience.

Don Mitchell is a first rate business man, a first rate garage door installer/repairman and a first rate person. He estimated the job and returned another day to do the work. He worked with us on details very pleasantly. Other than one or two miscommunications (one mine) It was an A+ experience. I feel like we gained a friend.

Don did an excellent job and was incredibly professional. He was on time to all of our appointments (he had to check out my current door a couple times) and a very nice guy to work will. He was also kind enough to thank me for the business which made me feel appreciated. When I purchased my house it had a garage door but no opener. It turns out an opener couldn't be installed because the door was too tall and there was no room for an opener. The only option was to make the door smaller. Two other companies offered to install a new door and an opener for me. Don said he would try and find the door manufacturer and replace just the top portion of the door to make the whole door shorter. Unfortunately he discovered the manufacturer had gone out of business. My only option was to replace the whole door. I obtained a quote from Don and one other vendor for replacing the door, building down the garage opening to fit the new door, and the installation of an opener. Don's quote was a little less but the real decision-maker was the door he was going to install. It seemed to be better quality and was more insulated than the door the other company was going to use. We set the installation date and, with my permission, he arrived while I was at work and did the whole installation. He only needed access to the garage and was able to do everything that needed to be done. I came home to a brand new door and a brand new opener.

One of the best services I have ever purchased. The finished product looks great and it was performed in an extremely professional manner. I strongly recommend.
