Fantastic! I got a call back within an hour plus a follow-up text to be sure I knew they'd called (I missed the call). Eric Watson and I soon connected, and I texted him pictures of the toilet, valve, etc. He called with a rough price, which was right in line with my expectations. Then he completely blew me away and said he could come the very next day at 8 AM! Next AM Eric replaced the wax ring and tested the toilet thoroughly. He left the bathroom immaculate and ready to use. He even managed to be so quiet that no one else woke up! I am delighted with the service Eric provided!

Both of our experiences with Eric were excellent. He responded to my calls right away and quickly came to assess the problem. After the work was done, Eric took the time to be sure everything worked properly before leaving. He cleaned up after himself, and was polite and professional. I will certainly call him again if we have any future plumbing needs!

Eric is definitely our go to guy for all our plumbing needs. We had him look at our leaking older style bathtub handles and he recommended replacing the three handle setup with a single handle to get the bathtub up to code. In order to do this, Eric had to cut a hole in a closet wall to get at the pipes. He explained up front that he would not be able to patch up the hole, which was fine as I bought an access panel and installed it myself easy enough. When Eric was finished, I noticed the next morning that there was a slight leak around the new valve, which Eric said was a faulty new gasket and I agree with that assessment because he replaced the gasket with another new one and the leak stopped. I do want to say that Eric is very professional and made sure that we were satisfied with the work. When we left him a voicemail about the leak, he called us right back and said he would be over to take care of it after he finished another job he was currently on. It was around dinner time for most people on a Sunday and he could have put us off until some other day, but Eric showed up and stayed with the job until the leak was taken care of and it's that kind of work ethic that gets Eric our repeat business.

Eric not only replaced the outside faucet, he added a shut off valve in the basement independent of the main water line so if any work needs to be done to this faucet again (not in our lifetime - knock on wood) it won't require shutting off water to the kitchen.

Eric arrived on time and had me show him the problems. After crawling under the crawl space (which has a dirt floor), he said he would need to get some fittings to do the job and said he estimated 3 hours work and ~$150 in supplies. He also said that time would only be charged while he was at the house not while he was "shopping". When he returned from getting the supplies, he went directly to work (shut off the house main shut off first). It took him 3 hrs to do the work and the cost of supplies was $125. He explained everything he was going to do and answered all my questions. He was very courteous and knew what he was doing. I would definitely hire him again if needed.

Eric is an exceptionally courteous and professional plumber. He kept me up to date on the inspection to find the problem and the solution for the repair. HE left he decisions up to me with out pressure tactics. I hope we were as good a customer as he is a service provider!He cleaned up after the work was done and was fair in his bill. Will definitely use him for future work!!!

The service was performed in time and the quality of work was excellent. The Professionalism showed by Eric is worth mentioning here.Eric arrived on time and before the start of the work he explained in great details how he was planning to complete the work. We did hit a snag where in extra work had to performed. Eric explained me the problem , discussed the procedure and the cost involved. After the work was complete , the cleanup was done and the bill with all the details was provided.

Eric was great. He contacted me immediately upon my purchase and made arrangements for a time to come and do the work. he arrived on time, was very professional, did a great job.

Eric responded promptly to our call and made an appt. after requesting photos of the PRV. Upon inspection, he reassured me the problem was minor and recommended against any intervention unless the problem got worse. Eric was nice enough to not charge for the service call. Considering Eric mostly does installations and remodeling, we really appreciate his taking the time to consider a repair.

This is the second time, we've hired Eric to do some work for us. Over the last six months, the rotten egg smell from our cold water was getting worse and the filter I had installed under the sink in the kitchen just wasn't helping. We had talked to Eric about the low pressure in our hot water line when he was working on the previous job and he recommended a sediment filter. When we contacted him about the odor problem, he recommended a separate filter for that, as well. Eric came over to look at the water tank and existing piping and had a quote to us the next day. He was quick to respond to our questions and we agreed to go ahead with the project. The job took Eric about a day. He installed new copper piping with a bypass system so we can test our well water unfiltered in the future. He explained everything to my wife when he was done and he even let her film him with her phone explaining the process for engaging the bypass and changing the filters for me since I was still at work. I had a couple of follow up questions and Eric got right back to me. So far, we are very happy with the results! Eric said it would take a couple of weeks for the existing sediment in the pipes to work its way out, but the rotten egg smell was completely gone within a couple hours after he finished!

Eric was extremely professional. He had to re-schedule at one point and showed up on time each time he came to the house. It was a 2 day job to change everything. I was soo impressed that I told him that I would hug him if I knew him better! The new filtration system looked like art work it was done soo well. He took time to explain everything to me. I really cant say enough nicve things about him, the quality of his work, and his professionalism. Highly recommend!

We called Eric for the first time when one of our toilets started leaking right before the holiday. He got us an appointment very quickly which was perfect with guests coming. We also needed a repair on our Jacuzzi tub as the drain would no longer seal to hold water when closed. Eric arrived promptly and got right to work. He even put booties over his shoes to be sure he did not get any outside dirt on our floors. We don?t even do that. Eric is customer focused and thorough. Our main concern, the toilet leak, was fixed with a quick adjustment Eric made at no charge. The Jacuzzi tub, which is pretty useless without water was another matter. Eric tried making some adjustments to get the drain to seal with the existing parts but they were 20 years old & not cooperating. We were very impressed with his efforts to save us money on parts. He explained the tub being on the 2 nd floor with a finished textured ceiling below might be difficult to get at if a new drain set would not seal the existing pipe. He had some ideas on models that would work best but if they did not seal we could be looking at a big job including replacing pipes below the tub & opening up the ceiling. He returned early the next morning with several models to try. Eric knows his stuff and with some effort, he was able to get the first model to work. We were so impressed with his honestly, making sure we saw the old parts that were removed and understood all costs even showing us his receipts for the replacement drain. We were thrilled with the price and the work. Eric is the best. I highly recommend Hot & Cold Plumbing and would definitely use him again.

well he said fe needed the specs for the range I'm having installed so i needed someone to provide a new line to the range which is just a standard gas range ,, i believe that most need a 3/4 " supply pipe . so i looked up the manufacturer and got the specs and indeed it was 3/4" so i emailed him it as he requested and i never heard from him, i called and left a message on his phone cause he was not answering , still i have heard nothing from him ,, i was hoping to get this done in time but now i have my range being shipped and no line. i would have got someone else if he just said I'm not interested or i don't do that kind of work . having a buss. and leaving a potential customer hanging is not the way to do buss.

Originally, we were looking just to have a permanent discharge pipe attached to an existing sump pump (we were running a long flex hose through an existing hole in the side of the house at the time). Eric came over and after looking at the setup, said that if he ran a new pipe it should be through a new hole in the front of the hose since that was the way the joist ran. To use the hole I was using would require too many bends which would reduce the pump's effectiveness. Made since to us. He also gave us a second option that was more expensive involving an enclosed basin setup. No hard sell at all and in the end, the thought of an enclosed sump pump appealed to me since I constantly had to clear our old pump that was getting jammed up with debris when the basement does flood. The job was suppose to start at 7 am on the prior Saturday, however, as bad luck would have it, Eric's truck broke down while he was at the Home Depot picking up supplies. No problem, we rescheduled for 7 am on the 8th. The job took Eric about 7 hours and involved excavating the sump hole, dropping in the basin, hooking up the new pump, back filling around the setup with gravel and topping it off with cement. I really like the look of the new set up. It's cleaner and we no longer have a bare gapping dirt hole in the corner of our basement. I was really pleased with the discharge pipe. I envisioned a straight pipe sticking out the front of the hose that I would have to hide with bushes, but Eric ran the pipe out, down, and off to the side parallel with our down spout. We'll definitely be contacting Eric again in the future for some other plumping jobs we are planning!

Bottom line up front: don't rely on Eric in a pinch I have new shower fixtures to install. All the rough plumbing was completed by a different licensed plumber but I did not want to use him again because he was a minimalist. My renovation utilized the existing drain lines but the old plumber did not want to make the effort of snaking out the drains when he was installing the new sink. Was there a problem? No, but I'm sure there was significant buildup after many years of use. So my search for a new plumber led to Eric. He kept saying that "he does not usually finish other people's work"...OK, that means that he does make exceptions since he said "usually" twice. I told him that he had absolutely no liability for any of the rough plumbing and that all he was responsible for was the fixtures and associated pressure test. I get his position if I asked him to be responsible for everything but that was not the case. So, maybe he didn't want the job since he couldn't get a big markup on the fixtures. In the end, he was of no help and I wasted a lot of time trying to reach him.

This is our second time we hired Eric. He came out and gave us a quote as well as explained what he would do and possible additional work should it be needed. The scheduled day he arrived on time. He was very respectful of our time, expectations and property.

My interactions with him were wonderful. He suggest and provided very detailed information in order to fix the problem. Including referring us to a contractor. Very nice man, and very honest!

Eric was extremely punctual and arrived on time the day he gave us an estimate. We asked him to check out a few issues we had going on in the house; he was very honest and told us if it was something we could take care of ourselves. On the day Eric came to install our water faucet, he was early and took a few hours to complete the job. The new outside faucet works wonderfully and we are very satisfied with the entire experience.

I have previously used Hot & Cold Plumbing & Heating for a small job at my home, and was very impressed with Eric. His work was impeccable and the cost was reasonable. After buying an investment property in December 2014, we contacted Eric for a quote on doing some updates. As we discussed with him our vision/plan, he made a number of suggestions which would benefit us and the property in the long term, regardless of whether his was the company doing the work or not. Within days after receiving and reviewing the quotes from Eric (we got separate ones for the plumbing and gas work), we came to an agreement on the scope and budget for the work. Eric is very professional and ensures that all parties are clear with expectations, and that all questions are answered fully and completely. There is nothing left to interpretation, and everything in the contract is clear. The scope of the project was much larger than I had originally anticipated and was ultimately undertaken so that we would not have to redo other renovation work in the future. This work spanned over a few months, which was agreed to at the outset. Ultimately it took longer than we both had expected, mainly as a result of the extreme winter we endured, which prevented penetrating the roof for the new waste stack location. The work performed was amazing. Eric is meticulous in his work, he takes his time, and is always thinking two steps ahead. Though a man of few words, Eric was/is always willing to answer any question and provide detail explanations for what was being done, and why they were done in that manner The quality of his work is amazing, his methods and ethics are beyond reproach. It is clear that he takes the extra steps. He truly believes in doing things right the first time, and not just doing things. Other companies working at the property even commented on how he went above and beyond. Hot & Cold Plumbing & Heating is not all about the $. The level of caring, quality and workmanship provided is something that is not always seen today. Bottom line... Hot & Cold Plumbing & Heating is my choice, and I recommend they be yours too !!! -------------- I put $1.00 as the approx cost of the work as each job is different even for the same scope of work, and puts an unreasonable expectation on the company. Suffice it to say, cheapest is not always best, and quality costs. Hot &Cold Plumbing & Heating provides a great value for the money.

He came out to look at the piping and didn't recognize the valve and after looking into it realized that the valve is a something that would require special tools and unfortunately due to the cost of the tools required the plumber was unable to do the work due to these complications. He was very prompt and easy to work with. He left me a message to inform me of the issues and information on the company who originally installed the valve. He also provided suggestions and what I should tell them when inquiring about the work with other companies. I was very impressed with his honesty and overall professionalism.

Eric responded to Angie's list request with a reply, only a few minutes after I sent it; and came out for a free estimate within the hour. He was very thorough and conscientious. Eric immediately determined that the pipe corrosion problem that I called about, was in fact part of the fire sprinkler system, which he was not, by law, able to work on. He then listened to my irrigation sprinkler related issues, and explained what was possible, affordable, and necessary. Finally, he examined our kitchen disposal, and our desire to remove/replace it. Given the original improper installation, and what it would take to deal it with it, he recommended that it would not be cost-effective to proceed. Even though Eric did not do any work, and explained why it did not make sense, or what other things I should consider, I was extremely impressed with his responsiveness, punctuality, honesty, cheerfulness and willingness to explain issues and options, he will be the first person I contact, if and when I need a plumber; or have occasion to give a referral. I was very impressed and pleased!

Response to initial contact and communication was good - timely, polite, clear. Walkthrough and quote process was professional. He explained what was involved and was able to give me quotes for multiple ways of dealing with issues. Work appears to be good quality. I will use again for future plumbing needs.

Very transparent and thorough; Eric took the time to explain how and why certain work should be done, and to show me the issues with the existing plumbing. Since his work everything has been flawless.
