Went very well. Gave us good advice up front on selection of heater type (tank vs tankless), guiding us toward best for us rather than best for his bottom line. Punctual. Charged quoted price. Good explanation of installation and features of the tank. Very pleased and would recommend G&C to anyone for water heater needs.

I asked Gregg to meet with me prior to any of the demo work was to be initiated (as demo was self performed by me) and he was happy to do so lending advice and came up with a mutual game plan. He did this consultation for no charge. We followed the plan exactly as outlined. The total price ended up slightly higher than original estimate but only because of a couple of unforeseen problems which changed the original scope of work. He dealt with these curve balls effectively and the additional costs were very fair. He and his son were professional, performed at a high level and I would recommend them without reservation.

Greg responded to my voicemail the same day I left the message. We discussed the job and the price, he committed to doing the work the following day. Greg and his son arrived the next day when they said they would, did the job in a few hours. They were polite, professional, friendly and efficient. I had contacted two other contractors (both much larger companies) and found them to be slow to respond, difficult to deal with and more expensive than G&C. They wanted more $ for a water heater with a shorter warranty. I would strongly recommend G&C to anyone, this is how working with a contractor should be :-)

- Turned off the water - Cut the pipe and drained the water in to a bucket - Cut the rest of the pipes - Installed a new T with short adapter pieces in place where the pipes were cut

Greg was professional and transparent from start to finish. He was punctual, stuck to his quoted rate, and did a great job with the installation. He was even able to improvise with some unevenness in our kitchen floor and got the unit installed and perfect. This is the kind of project that would have taken non-handy me all day; Greg and his son knocked it out in just under 2 hours. I think I've found my go-to plumber for all future work.

Greg and his son did an outstanding job. They dealt with the various inspectors and utility company and came back multiple trips to finish after each step was approved. They know the plumbing trade very well and have great customer service.

He gave me the estimate when I phoned him, and he came out to assess the work and the list I gave him. When he phoned me back, he provided an estimate, He was professional, came when he said he would come. A two man team came to do the work, and they worked very methodically throughout the whole process. They cleaned up after the project, and they were very professional.

I appreciated the fact that they accepted a same day, short notice appointment and arrived on time. Very pleasant and professional and neat. They had all the materials and tools needed on the truck.

He was prompt, swapped out the disposal with a new one that I had purchased, and the charges were fair. He was very professional. For example he covered up his shoes when entering the house, protected floor in front of the sink, etc. I'm very happy with the service provided.

I called Greg at 7am on Sunday morning because I had no hot water. He returned the call shortly there after. I gave him the details of what was happening and he said he would be out in 30 to 45 minutes. He arrived just as promised replaced the coupler on the furnace and made all things right again. He was a delight to talk to. Honest and down to earth person. Highly satisfied with his promptness, knowledge and reasonable pricing. We will be using Greg for all our plumbing needs.

I would highly recommend G&C plumbing and would use them again in the future. I called the company during the day and my call was returned that same day. Greg came out to do the job and would have done it same day but I also wanted a leaking valve repaired on my homeowner installed irrigation system. It was an unusual part so understandably he would have to come out again after getting that particular part. He offered to instead do both jobs in one day after getting the part in order to save me some money from having to make two trips. He called after getting the part and arranged to come back at a convenient time. He and his apprentice came out and did all the work in about an hour. The work was professionally done and he was able to catch a few other issues that he took care of as well. All in all, it went very smooth and I'm glad the issues were taken care of professionally. I would recommend him without reservation.

I called them multiple times and left them voicemails. Also send couple of emails hoping to get in touch around mid April. I haven't received a call back or email yet (first week of May). I cannot comment on the quality of work they perform but per my personal experience it is very unprofessional to miss many calls and emails. It shows how much a company value's it's potential customers. I hope this is a one off case.

He was professional and suggested not doing extra work that I thought I needed

The previous plumber botched the install and was going to charge me to fix it, so I decided to have G&C come in to fix the previous plumbers mistake. They were prompt and courteous. They also didn't charge me the full amount knowing the back story and the nightmare I experienced with the previous plumber. They'll get my business in the future!

Called him in the morning, he came out same day and replaced water. Labor was very reasonable, most of the cost was parts

Both times it went well. Mr. Sheck provided an accurate estimate, showed up on time and completed the job promptly. Some minor issues that had to be rectified on the dishwasher install were from the previous installation which he addressed properly and in an economical fashion. He protected the floors while working and cleaned the work area when done. He was easy to discuss things with and was nice to have in the home. We appreciate his workmanship and professionalism.

G & C, I think it was Greg, was quick to respond and fix the leaky valve and suspect pipe at the house. He called back right away and came over in no time. I really appreciated that because my attempt to turn on the gas before the cold winter had been met with the dumb gas company pulling the meter when it failed the pressure test. I have forced hot water in that house and it is not without precedent to have the pipes freeze in October-November time frame. He fixed the issue pressure tested the system and I was able to schedule the meter to be re-installed. The pipes in the house had actually frozen years ago, so I was very thankful to him for being so responsive and quick with the repair. As many people know, the gas company takes forever to do anything. It took a week to get the meter re-installed and was nearly freezing outside by the time the gas company got there. If not for G & C responding so quickly, I may have had to worry about the cold weather and the pipes. Great service and good prices make G & C a top choice in the area in my opinion.

Gave a half hour window for arrival and showed up within that half hour. Covered his shoes with cloth booties to protect the floors from his shoes. Promptly installed a new flex gas line and fittings on the dryer, connected the dryer duct and sealed it with thermal tape, and leveled the dryer. Very personable and pleasant. Gave a ballpark estimate for installing a tub sink in the basement and will E-mail a written estimate.
