He did great. He is easy to get in touch with and he completed the work quickly. I compared his prices to other ones and he gave the lower bid than anyone else. I think their pricing is great. It was a very little work on my end. I just told them what I needed and he e-mailed me back and forth and he got me the plan.

He is outstanding, very reasonably priced, very responsive and he did everything I asked for. He even found the old plot lines. Because some of the sticks had to be placed on rocks have stone walls he put on spray paint circles around the actual drill that had been formerly put there where I had a plot plan that had been done before I bought the house over 45 years ago. He actually found the original stick in in it. He was anywhere from a half to a quarter the price of the other people that I could field with.

Excellent work. Dennis is a nice person to talk to and he also replied my emails to answer questions. His team works efficiently and the survey was done in a short period of time. I used it to expand my driveway and the survey works exactly as expected.

I was very pleased with these services. Dennis did not do the survey himself, but he called to follow up and walk me through the results.

Pretty straightforward survey job. Went well with the rating noted above. Someone less punctual in responding called back after I had committed with a price that was approx. $100-150 lower. Hence rating on price

It went very well. I did not get a chance to meet with Mr. Obrien I was sick the day they arrived. They continued on and did their job which took about 5-6 hrs. Mr. Obrien, sent the plot plans a week later and they were acceptable to the contractor .

We called and left a message with Dennis O'Brien Land Surveying. We got a call back with-in 24 hours. They told us it would take 2-3 weeks to complete the job. The quoted a price of $925.00. That price included research of the lot title, coming out to our house and staking the property lines out, and several signed lot plans. The surveyors actually came out the very next week. The tow people were very professional. They even put in a few more stakes so the fence company would be able to follow the property line easier. (our property has a few hilly areas). The following week we recieved in the mail our lot plans. We are very satisfied with the work they did. The final price was just what the original quote was.

In short, this project was what I would describe as "doing it right the second time". The property is on a rectangluar plot of land. One of my neighbors had their property surveyed recently. Since I was considering adding a fence, I decided to also have a survey done. I received three different quotes. The one from Dennis O'Brien was the second highest, about 20% higher than my lowest quote. The good - Dennis O'Brien returned my calls promptly each and every time. At the end of the day, I believe Dennis is a reasonable person who will clearly spell out the work upfront and also will listen to your explanations if the results turn out not meeting your expectation. The not so good - Dennis had to personally come back to the property the second time. A surveryor, probably a subcontractor of Dennis, visited the property the first time. He showed up two days late. For the first visit, setting of corner pins was incomplete. The drawing had left-out pertinent offsets. Everything was fixed the second time after Dennis' visit.

Dennis was a professional from start to finish. After he returned my initial call to discuss the engagement, he provided me a fixed fee for the service and a calendar of when the work would be completed and the final drawings provided. He came to the house on the appointed day and conduced the boundary survey without disruption. He also made it a point to talk with me both before and after he completed the physical measurements. The final document was delivered within the time frame that was presented at the start of the engagement. The only concern coming out of the entire project is an open question as to why the final plan delivered was labled as a Level 2 survey and not a Level 1. That particular point remains open as of this date. Overall this was a very professional and well delivered service.

The job was performed in a timely and efficient way and I was walked around property to see stake placements.

Dennis O'Brien was an easy going individual to deal with. I told him that we are interested in having our land surveyed because we are looking to replace our existing fence and want to make sure it's within our property lines. His crew came out at the time I requested. When they were finished setting the iron pins, they walked me around the property to show me where the were located. I contacted a few land survey companies and this company's price was fare and the costumer service was great.

I was pending the start of a construction project to add a screened in porch, when I discovered that my mortgage documents did not contain the required plot plan in order for the contractor to obtain a permit. A search with the Town Clerk's office on past permits pulled by previous owners did not yield anything, nor did a search with the Registry of Deeds. I contacted Dennis and explained the situation. My research indicated the cost of a survey of this type of residential property was between $775 - $900. Dennis' quote came in right in the middle. Once I confirmed with him that I wanted him to proceed, he came out the next day. He introduced himself prior to starting the job, was very polite and professional. Within just a few days I had several copies of the plot plan dropped off to my home. Dennis had arranged separately for my contractor to recieve a copy of the plot plan, thus saving me the time of having to do it myself. Overall I was very pleased with the promptness and thoroughness Dennis showed throughout the process.

Dennis called me within 1/2 hour of me sending my initial contact email. He quoted me a price over the phone and explained the process he would use if he got the job. His price was slightly cheaper than the first contractor's estimate. We only went with the first contractor because we had established a relationship and the difference in price was minimal. Otherwise, we would have happily worked with Dennis and his team.
