The vendor is reasonably priced, they gave us a quote in a timely manner, told us when they could start and then were in contact as things changed (there was a lot of rainy days this summer, so the start date got pushed out a bit). When they started working, they were on the project 100%, and finished in a timely manner. They seemed to be very knowledgable about what they were doing (types of paint, what would best for our building, how to address the issues that we were having with the exterior of our building). When they found some pieces of rotten wood after scraping off the old paint, they brought in a carpenter who quickly replaced those pieces, so that the painting work could continue. Marcos and his crew were very nice and responsive to our requests and questions.

I am painting our 3,500 square foot, 4 bedroom house myself. I was nervous about doing the peaks and there were some areas that I could not get to. I looked for a painter on Angie's list who would do the spots that I felt were beyond my comfort level. I was worried that most painters would not want the job of only doing the high and difficult spots. Marcos (the owner) responded to my email from Angie's list the next day and came out to do an estimate within 2 days. I received the estimate in 5 days and contracted for them do the work. They started the work within 2 weeks which I was pleased about. I was prepared for a waiting time of at least a month. Anderson arrived on the agreed morning and we went around the house looking at the 6 areas that he would work on. The job was scraping and sanding, caulking the seams, painting 2 coats on the body of the house and one on the trim. Some of the fascia boards also needed to be reattached after some poor work last summer by another contractor. The original plan was to send a crew to complete the job in one day but the others were finishing up a job in Brookline. The assumption was that they would join us the next day. Anderson was very impressive! He was personable and polite, incredibly hard working, meticulous, and thorough. He was neat and cleaned up before he left. After he left that day (at 7:00 PM) I called Marcos and told him that even though it might take longer for one person to finish the job as opposed to a crew, I wanted Anderson to be the one to do the work. Anderson finished the job by himself the next day and it looks fantastic. He even found time to play with our Golden Retriever who was often waiting with her ball for him to get off of the ladder. When the job was finished two other men from Vision Painting came by to help pack up and they were friendly and polite as well.

Marcos arrived exactly on time for the estimate. He spent a good deal of time with me during the initial inspection. He e mailed the estimate within a few days. We spoke about some amendements to the estimate, which he quickly agreed to. His team showed up on time each day. They spent at least 8 hours each day. They were respectful of my property, and totally cleaned up each day. They worked on Saturday. The entire process was very high quality. I will certainly call them in the future.
