Marcos as the owner, Marcelo as the project manager, and Eduardo and Vanusa as the team were absolutely terrific. Total pros. The outcome of the job [repainted 20-year old kitchen cabinets via spraying as well as painting the walls and ceilings] was outstanding. Everyone who's seen it says it looks like a new kitchen. They were prompt, courteous, communicative. Eduardo and Vanusa worked very hard to finish the project on time. Couldn't recommend them all more strongly.

From start to finish, I had a great experience with Marco and his team. The crew leader Ricardo was an absolute pleasure to work with, and his team was great. They were very punctual, tidy and respectful of the house and ground. I would 100% hire them again for interior and exterior painting.

not good at all. they said they were finished in August and I paid them which of course I should never have paid them in full . I have been waiting since then to have them come back to fix the errors which are listed below and because of weather am now asking for some money back so i can get it fixed by someone else in the spring. all doors painted are peeling shutters put up in the wrong places and with wrong screws several storm windows are not even fully attached to house all the windows and storm windows were left painted shut they ruined a side of the house wood shakes by using the wrong sanding method so they need to be replaced and then painted they were supposed to reglaze all the outside window panes and not done they painted the storm windows so paint would not come off when i washed the windows and the paint is still coming off paint all over all the windows - they never even bothered to scrape it off horrible experience - would never recommend then or use them again i am hoping you can help me get some money back so I can get someone else to fix it in the spring!!!

I regret to have had the misfortune of wasting my time with Vision Painting. The owner verbally agreed to repair and repaint the exterior of a home that a company I work with owns in Rhode Island. He would not, however, agree to sign a contract with us. The reason he wouldn’t sign it was because it required him to be a Registered Contractor in the State of Rhode Island, hold a Lead Safe Renovation, Repair, and Painting License, and be insured to work in the area. After several conversations with him and one of his employees, the owner told me that he’s not registered or insured to work in the State and does not have the required Lead Paint certificate. I found this particularly strange because he told me that he’s been working in Rhode Island for years and provided the addresses of homes he’s repainted there. I also found it dishonest because he didn’t disclose that information from the start. In any case, we tried to find a solution because we already planned our schedule around his job. It seemed like we were moving in the right direction. Unfortunately, a few days before he was supposed to start, the owner’s employee called to tell me that he was backing out of the job. When I asked him to clarify, he simply hung up on me. I called and texted the owner, but he didn’t get back to me. Based on this experience, I would advise others to avoid Vision Painting. On a personal note: some of the things the owner said to me were extremely disrespectful. He insulted me by suggesting that I would withhold payment from him. The reason he said that – by his own admission – was because he had a bad experience working for a general contractor. This was very inappropriate because I had nothing to do with that experience. Business aside, this is a rude way to treat other people.

I never write reviews on anybody but I was so impressed with Vision Painting that i wanted to give them the review they deserve. These guys worked every day from 8am to 6:30pm non stop and did a fantastic job. From the carpentry to the painting they cared about their work and it showed. If you need interior painting done, look no further! Marcelo and Marcio are a great team! Very friendly, conscientious, and meticulous in their preparation and painting. Very receptive to any changes in color or areas to be painted. Marcelo is a true artiste and Marcio works very hard. Our home looks like a new house! Carpentry work was excellent as well. Price of the job is very reasonable for the quality of the workmanship.

Showed up expecting to paint the whole house after I described the job as garage door only. Then ghosted, no estimate, no response. Glade I didn't hire them. Very unprofessional.

Excellent work from a service prospective to the carpentry, prep, prime through finish coat. Very responsive to questions and extra work. Good cost keeping to what was quoted adding only what I requested as further work.

The painters were punctual and professional. Vision Painters power washed and painted our house and did some minor carpentry on the trim work. The painting was done on time and accurately. The painting supervisor listened to all our concerns and made sure that they were addressed. We would have no problem hiring them again.

The gentleman that came to provide the estimate was quite knowledgeable, took his time, listened to what was required and my expectations. Marcos, the owner was quite accommodating & respectful. He promptly responded to my questions and requests. Mine was a relatively small job which required only a two man crew. They arrived on time, were professional and cleaned up at the end of each day, I can't say enough about how hard they worked. Wemerson, the foreman was extremely knowledgeable, interactive, accommodating and checked in regularly on the progress of the job. He made sure that the job was completed timely, properly and to my expectation. When the job was finished, he performed a walk through with me and made sure that I was pleased with the final results. There was no upfront deposit required. The final cost came in on estimate which was the lowest bid I had received. Overall, I was very pleased with the outcome and my experience and would keep Vision Painting in mind for future painting needs.

Emerson, the professional who led the crew, was fantastic. He made my life very easy on an otherwise hectic day - he and his team showed up minutes before my wife unexpectedly went into labor. They got everything done and communicated very well via text message. I would definitely recommend. My only minor gripe was scheduling - it was a slightly longer process from getting an estimate to getting the job done than I would have thought, and at points I had to reach out to the company to make sure they hadn't forgotten about me. But the bottom line is that they did a great job.

We were absolutely delighted with the results. The painters were on time, extremely courteous and paid great attention to detail. They left the property immaculate each day. I do believe they were the best work crew we have ever had for a home project.

Vision Painting did such a great job painting the exterior of our home. There were additional carpentry issues that were addressed after prep work had begun, but the owner, Marcos, was very communicative and was clear about the scope of work and pricing. The team came every day, stayed late, and worked hard to do a fantastic job! I would HIGHLY recommend Vision Painting!

The work included some carpentry as well as painting and staining 1. I had them install PVC fascia, They cut it crooked, did not glue seams so all seams showed, they nailed it with a nail gun and hammer, dented and warped it, then painted over it. 2. I also had then replace some areas of the cedar siding. They hacked the patch and made no effort to add stain color so it made a reasonable match. 3. They made no offer to fix it as they said it would cost them too much 4. They nickeled and dimed me for an extra gallon of paint , a length of wood So I have to hire another contractor to fix their work as doing the work again properly was not an option they agreed to. Instead they offered to reduce the price a little to use for the repairs. 5. They dented my gutters

Terrible. Took a month to get them to show up. The unsupervised crew actually went through all personal belongings that were being stored at our vacant house. Paper towels were flushed down the toilet causing a wet basement (denied). Small paint rollers stored in the basement went missing (painted upstairs). left a mess outside the building, cigarette butts, footprints everywhere. Don't expect a final walk through or integrity here, look elsewhere.

Atrocious. Contracted with painter for exterior house. Pricing was higher than expected, but, given positive references, and detailed quotes, I moved ahead. Humongous mistake. Job has been sloppy, and subpar. I have sent over 50 photos and several detailed emails with owner detailing poor performance. They have addressed most of the items, but several remain outstanding. I would not recommend Vision Painting.

The quote from Vision was almost half of other contractors. They were very thorough, resanding the walls until they were smooth enough for a quality paint job. The house looks great! From talking with the crew, it was clear that they care about their work. The only drawback is communication. The timing of our job was important since we had other work to complete before we moved in. They didn't start when they said they would and didn't tell us that, so we missed a whole weekend when we could have been at the house.

Crew paid attention to detail in doing a very good job. Took the time to do it right even though the job took longer than originally estimated.

All of our experiences with vision have been excellent, including this most recent job, Christian and Marcello were excellent. They were prompt, professional, courteous and very meticulous in their prep, painting and clean up in all the spaces. Their workmanship was top notch, with clean, crisp lines between ceilings, walls and trim wood work. Their clean up afterwards was spotless, impossible to tell they were there painting and prepping only hours earlier. They addressed all of our questions and concerns and we were fully satisfied with the results. I highly recommend vision and will use them again.

When he did the work in 2013 every thing was fine and the paint job looked good. With the job, came a two year touch up warranty. The first time I contacted him was April 23, 2014 and he said don't worry about it, he would get back to me. So, I contacted him on May 11, 2015 about a year later and he said he would send his best guy and put it writing and confirmed by email. The work of the warranty to this date has still not been done or completed. I would like him to complete the warranty work as quickly as possible. He also has not answered or contacted me since July 2015.

After reading great reviews on Angie's List, I contacted Marcos. He returned my call immediately and came within the day that I called. Sent me his estimates within a couple of days for the exterior carpentry work and for the exterior painting. I accepted his proposal for the carpentry and said that I wanted to go over the painting estimate to see about some of the items, but basically, his estimate was fine. That was it - although he said he would do the carpentry in June and the painting in the fall, I never heard from him again. I attempted to call him - nothing. I emailed him 3-4 times. Each time, he would text me saying that he got my message and would call me that day - this happened each time I emailed him - he never called. His prices were reasonable and he had a pleasant personality and seemed professional. Caution: "If it seems to good to be true, it usually is"!! He left me high and dry.
