Description of Work: The rear deck of my house was built in 1983, constructed of pressure-treated southern yellow pine. Given that it faces northwest means that it almost never gets sunlight, and has shown signs of mildew; the solid-color redwood stain has been lifting from the wood, is dirty- and needed care. I do not want to replace this 13 x 16 foot deck, but choose to maintain it. I had considered having it sanded (which would be substantially more expensive and time consuming), but considered power washing as an alternative. Based on the comments on Angie's List, I chose Under Pressure Power Washing. I was not disappointed. "Caleb" and "Chad" did a fine job, and worked on the project for somewhat over an hour. While the quote was for the deck only, they power-washed a portion of the adjoining house siding, and the steel bulkead to the cellar as well. The dirt/grime/mildew came off in sheets. The deck is now ready for re-staining and sealing. While they do not perform that kind of work, Caleb recommended someone in whom he has confidence. (I will comment on that when that task is done.) In a couple of years, I will have the house re-stained. I will use them to power-wash the house before re-staining. They were professional, and results were better than I expected. Robert P. Description of Work: Power washed EVERYTHING, and some places 3 times - came when they said they would and did more than I expected. Moved anything in the way and replaced it with care! Washed house, deck which needs re-painting so they helped to chip away at the loose paint which saves me some money, washed inside screened in porch. Had some extra gunk from mice and squirrels under the eaves which they really worked at.
