He hasn't responded to our calls at all. I have left many messages and I'm tired of chasing him.

They are fast, efficient and pleasant to work with.

I didn't hire him, he works for my neighbors. He has the loudest leaf blowers of any landscaper around. His crew will blow a single leaf across a huge lawn. They just get out of the truck, fire up the blowers, and 5 hours later they are done. Deafening. If you are looking for a great way to alienate your whole neighborhood, give Roger a call.

This company should never be hired for snow removal - and honestly since they are that bad - they shoudl probably not be used for any service they offer. They did exactally what I requested them not to do which was to push the snow along the fence and block my back enterance. (which I use as a main enterance to the home) They also did not come for the major part of the storm making it impossible to park in my driveway. When I arrived home there was over two feet of snow covering the driveway. I ended up having to purchase my own snow blower at 8pm at night and clean up my own driveway. Then a few days after the storm they had the dishonesty to charge me for the entire snow fall and removal. It was only after I sent a letter with pictures validating their incompetincies did they send a revised invoice for the little that they did do. I will never, never use this company again. and if you are smart you will look elsewhere.

Rogers team is great. First, I worked with Mary Ellen to develop a long term plan to transform my lawn. Next, they scheduled some of the work and it was a very smooth process. We did not do everything all at once, but the first stage of the project is such a big difference. I love the new look of the front, side and back of the house. And the lawn has never looked better! Rogers team is very friendly and I love having them over for regular maintenance. Great people, reasonable pricing, I would recomend them to anyone.

We have used Roger Sturgis for snow plowing for two winters, and they have been reliable and fair. This past winter was so mild that they only came once to plow, but last winter was snowy and they came 4–5 times. They have "tiered" charging, charging one fee for up to, say 8" of snow, and then upwards from there. Good communication from the company.

Because no work was actually done, I have no more to add to my story.

.There were no dislikes. They did the treatment within a couple of days of my request and it has made a huge difference.They always answer the phone and they are all extremely professional.

.He has worked for me 3 or 4 years. They have done their spring clean up. He always does good work. His prices I am not sure of as I haven't gone out and priced enough but the yard always looks nice. Sometimes I have to call more then once to get something done. I have never had any trouble with the staff anyone in the office or him.

They did not move items out of the way so they actually mowed over one of my sons balls and one of our sprinklers. When we brought this to the owners attention he did not do anything about it.

After the same incident happened twice, we cancelled their service.

I use the company every year.

They clear the snow on my driveway, pathway along the street, pathway up to the front door, and to the side door. They clear about 46 inches of snow from my particular area. They also clean up my garden after fall, and winter. They also handle my watering system. They do their job very well. They are professional, responsive, and the quality of work is good. My overall experience with them has been good.

Very knowledgeable about lawn maintenance. I would contact him for maintenance only - not for landscaping.

Work was done surprisingly soon after I signed the request form after the estimate. I was also glad that when I made the initial contact, I got a real person in an office instead of an answering machine. Too many companies performing these services never get back to you. I understand if they can't take on any new clients at the moment, but a return call is always a courtesy. You never know where future business comes from, and I don't like companies that don't return calls. And finally, the local foreman called me to tell me he was running a few minutes late for the estimate appointment; another unusual, but welcome, occurrence. When he and his crew came to do the work, they were all very polite and efficient.

Extremely disappointing and frustrating. Some of the work billed for was never completed, though Mr. Sturgis (who did not, to my knowledge, oversee any of the work) insisted otherwise. The most distressing and blatant concern was that when it rained shortly after the granite patio was installed, one whole corner sank about 6 to 8 inches almost immediately. Other concerns over the course of the project included the much longer than anticipated delay between sending my deposit and initiating the project (three years rather than the anticipated 7 months); that, although told the job should take about two weeks, work began in June (when a crew came and stripped my front lawn of all vegetation) and was not "finished" (their words, not mine) until the end of October; that the four evergreens planted by Mr. Sturgis' crew had all died by the end of the following summer; that the driveway was shorter than detailed in the original specifications, and, as experienced by Mr. Sturgis, was so short that it remains extremely difficulty to get into and out of the parking area without risking hitting a tree; that despite asking and reminding the landscaping crew many times NOT to disturb the young dogwood in my front yard (which had been planted in remembrance of my mother), it was dug up and put to one side at least three times that I witnessed over the course of the summer, and while it survived the first two, it did not survive the third disturbance. While the landscaping crew were unfailingly polite and conscientious, I was less than impressed with the work ethic and skills of the job supervisor; when I expressed my concerns to Mr. Sturgis, he essentially dismissed them, insisting that the supervisor was "a nice guy" (which was, of course, irrelevant to my concerns, which were with his competence, not his temperament). Between June and October, I only saw Mr. Sturgis twice, and both times were to collect payments. The person supervising the project was there only infrequently; his work was at best careless (he was, for example, planning to leave a 10 foot hole unprotected over a long weekend, and returned to put up a temporary fence the next morning only at my insistence); and at least some of the work done was clearly incompetent. The supervisor quit two days after the "sinking patio" incident (unlike Mr. Sturgis, he clearly recognized that incident as an indication that he was not cut out for this work). Before quitting, he did acknowledge (by fax) that the patio essentially needed to be redone; however, neither he nor Mr. Sturgis ever responded to my question about whether they (as I expected) or I would be held responsible financially for the repairs. Rather, Mr. Sturgis insisted on receiving payment in full before discussing my concerns and potential resolutions. Mr. Sturgis has been paid in full; my concerns have never been addressed, nor even fully acknowledged.

They are excellent and very hard working. They are nice people that I would recommend to anyone. They are personable, professional and the price is fair as well. I am very pleased with the service. They are great. I am happy with them all of the time.
