Description of Work: I WOKE UP ONE MORNING TO A LEAK BENEATH MY TOILET. MY HUSBAND GOT HYSTERICAL. I STARTED CALLING PLUMBERS. TWO PLUMBERS THAT I HAVE USED BEFORE AND LIKE, WERE TOO BUSY TO COME OUT. WE HAVE A REALLY OLD HOUSE, OVER 100 YEARS OLD, AND LEAKS CAN ROT OUT THE OLD WOOD. MANY YEARS AGO, I CALLED MARK FREEDMAN ABOUT A SHOWER LEAK ( DIFFERENT HOUSE) HE CAME OUT THAT TIME AND GAVE ME A VERY REASONABLE QUOTE. I CALLED HIM TODAY, THE PHONE WAS ANSWERED BY MARK, HIMSELF. I LIKE THAT. IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE, HIS PLUMBER WAS HERE. THE FIRST THING HE TOLD ME WAS NOT TO USE THE BLUE CLEANING DISC IN THE RESERVOIR. HE CHANGED A FAULTY SEAL, AND THE TOILET WAS FIXED. RAPID RESPONSE DESERVES AN A+ FROM US. AND IT DIDN'T COST AN ARM AND A LEG.

THE QUALITY OF THE WORK WAS ACCEPTABLE, HOWEVER, WE WERE CHARGED FOR 7.6 HOURS AND THEY WERE ONLY HERE FOR 4.5 HOURS. THEY CHARGED US FOR TRAVEL TIME, THE TIME THEY WENT BACK TO THE SHOP AND THEY ADDED EXTRA HOURS TO THE TIME SLIP. THEY CHARGED $180 DOLLARS AN HOUR.

I CALLED MANY PLUMBERS TO GET A LEAKY FAUCET REPAIRED. TO HIS CREDIT, MARK WAS ALMOST THE ONLY ONE WHO EVEN RETURNED MY CALL. HOWEVER, WHEN HE EXAMINED THE FAUCET AND FOUND IT COULD NOT BE REPAIRED, I ENDED UP PAYING $126 (HIS MINIMUM CHARGE) EVEN THOUGH HE WAS ONLY THERE FOR ABOUT 40 MINUTES AND I WAS STILL LEFT WITH A LEAKY FAUCET. I ENDED UP BUYING A NEW FAUCET AND HAVING A LESS EXPENSIVE PLUMBER INSTALL IT.

MY PHONE CALLS WERE RETURNED PROMPTLY AND THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THE GENTLEMAN WHO PERFORMED THE SERVICE AND INSTALLATION, ERIC, WAS VERY EASY TO WORK WITH, RELAXED AND WELL INFORMED. EFFICIENT WORK AND HAD FULL INSTALLATION IN 2 HOURS, AREA WAS CLEANED UP, AND WARRANTY DISCUSSED. ALL ISSUES WERE HANDLED IN A VERY PLEASANT MANNER. WILL WORK WITH THEM AGAIN WITHOUT HESITATION.

THE ONLY GLITCH WAS THEM NOT SHOWING UP WHEN PROMISED FOR THE RECONNECT DUE TO MISCOMMUNICATION BETWEEN THE TECHNICIAN & HIS OFFICE. OTHERWISE, THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT.
