The work was well done. The technician was nice and all the aspects related to work performed were all satisfactory. We have no complaints about that. The only reason we give D is purely because the owner stopped communicating after we had sent a few emails requesting explanation about the bill (which we were told were way over-priced by another expert). We got no response whatsoever. The work was done so we paid. We weren’t asking money back or anything. All we wanted was some explanation of how exactly the charges were made because the service description left on the invoice was very vague. What’s upsetting is ignorance.

The work was done in 2 days professionally. The gas inspector said he had not seen such a quality installation in a long time. A pipe had to be installed above a finished basement ceiling. This was accomplished without destroying the ceiling by using access panels to cover necessary holes. Very pleased with everything.

We discovered the leak on a Sunday; not many plumbers responded that day. He said he could come out that day, but was upfront that it would be expensive as an emergency visit. We opted him to come out the next morning. He came first thing, diagnosed and fixed the problem in about an hour. He said the vinyl tubing was incorrectly installed, and should have been a copper pipe. He installed the copper pipe along with a shut off valve that will prevent this type of emergency in the future. We felt he charged a fair price and appreciated his prompt, professional service.

They are prompt and responsive. This job went well; they were not as competitive or timely dealing with a water heater problem recently.

Came quickly and isolated the leak. Did the repair in a very confined, difficult place to work.

Done in an hour. Works perfectly. Had exactly the same pump as before.

They came promptly. They did the work they had to do. I didn't have any trouble with them. It wasn't anything special. I thought it was good.

I called several plumbers on Sunday morning to see if someone could install a water heater. This was the only one to answer (with a person). I was informed of the pricing and given a time window when someone could arrive. Erick showed up on time. When he opened the back of his truck, I immediately knew that I could expect a good job. He is organized, well informed, and very professional. The job was done neatly, efficiently, and at a very high level of quality. I thought his price was very fair, especially considering this was a Sunday. I couldn't ask for more; I highly recommend Rapid Response - now my personal plumber of choice.

11PM Saturday night found the hot water tank starting to leak. The tank was from Sears and under warrantee so was able to pick up a new one 11 AM Sunday. With a wife and 2 teenage girls, could not wait for Sears install during the week. When I found out my usual plumber had retired, did some Google searches and checked Angies list and decided to call Rapid Response first. Dan called back in 5 minutes. Explained my situation, talked through what was needed and agreed to a reasonable price for a Sunday emergency. He came before 2PM - right inside the 1-3 window discussed. He brought in tarps to protect the floors. He determined he needed to replace and re-plumb some of the gas pipes (which were loose and bent). Dan was personable and professional. The whole job took a few hours and Dan cleaned everything up well including talking away the old tank. The best part, is that I have a new plumber,

Overall a terrific experience. We called at 7:00am on a Friday morning (note - we called two other plumbers who advertised 24/7 emergency service, only to be told they could not get to us for three days. Since when is having no hot water for three days not a plumbing emergency when temps outside are in the 30s?). Anyway, Mr. Freedman took the pertinent information (the issue, make and number of our water heater, etc.) and said he'd get back to us. By 8:00am he had located a new tank, confirmed our old tank was still under warranty, and scheduled the replacement for us. The technician showed up promptly and was very professional. The whole installation went smoothly and they kept the area neat and clean. I would definitely use them again.

Overall, I'm happy with the level of service I received. I called Rapid Response late on Saturday night because my water heater was leaking and we had no hot water. They answered right away and I asked them to run over and take a look...which they did. While at the property they isolated the leak and drained the tank. The next day (a Sunday) they replaced it. The technician was courteous and mindful of cleaning up and doing a professional job. There were times when the technician could have cut corners but didn't. My only issue is with price but I'm content given how quickly they responded on a weekend and how quickly they replaced the water heater.

The serviceman was punctual at 1:30PM. He showed up and evaluated and gave me price. I assumed it was going to be a large job. He didn't have part with him on truck. He told me he would need to get. It would take 25 minutes to drive to and 25 minutes to return. He returned at 2:45PM. He completed job at 3:30PM. He replaced a brass valve a brass elbow joint and a pressure valve , which I didn't need replaced. He took the working brass pressure valve I had and put a poorer quality valve on. (The total was a very simple installation process requiring all three items be screwed in. ) I priced items on internet and picked highest priced quality and total cost was about $70.00 for all three items. I asked the plumber again what the cost was for work done. I think he was embarrassed as he wouldn't make eye contact with me. ($843.00.) I contacted owner Scott Freedman of RAPID RESPONSE. I complained about cost and time spent. He was not interested about my concerns. He did call back and left message to call him,which I did. He was calling regarding customer service and asked about job, but not about cost. I explained about cost of parts and time spent on job,which was 40 minutes total. I was told by him the job was FOUR HOURS. I asked how he figured that? Travel time and looking for part....I was told. They were unprepared by not having a common part on truck, even when I gave them heads up on my initial call. They did a poor job evaluating cost of job. Materials weren't all of same quality I had removed. Total lack of concern over situation. I have some knowledge of home repairs and I'm very involved with seniors in the middlesex area. This situation makes me concerned when an elderly person relies on a professional to give them a honest price.Total RIP OFF.

They were prompt and worked in our basement. They were communicative about what they were doing and for the most part did a good job. We had a couple of issues at the very end where they finished the work while we were on vacation. When we came back they had damaged the house; I guess they had ripped off molding when they removed the unit. It looks like the old unit probably sat in our yard for a long time because the grass where it was dead. We have not bothered to call to complain but they did not have the same diligence cleaning up every day. I will use them again in the future.

They have done a fabulous job with all of our heating and plumbing needs. Scott designed and installed a high-end heating system. A number of contractors have been in our house since then and they have all commented on the high quality design and workmanship. We ran into a few other plumbing problems and Scott worked tirelessly to identify and resolve them. Scott and his team are always responsive, helpful, and knowledgeable. Scott patiently answers my many questions too! I wouldn't use anybody else.

We were on a very tight deadline with our bathroom project when we realized we couldn't do the installation ourselves. Called them in late afternoon, they were able to come out the next morning even though no other plumber would (we called many). Did the job well and answered all my questions. They work off of a fixed-price list rather than by the hour; even though they gave me a discount, it still came out pretty high for the relatively small job; a local plumber who charges by the hour would have been less. Still, I would hire them again if I was on a tight schedule, because they definitely have better availability.

Called them late at night about a non-working central A/C. they not only picked up the phone but said they'd be at my house first thing the next morning -- and they were. Had it all fixed within 24 hours. I was pretty impressed --

They were extremely responsive and prompt, but they're incredibly expensive. About a year ago we had someone come in and unclog 2 drains and it cost us $250. It also took much longer for them to do their work than the last person we had.

Employee was prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. Able to obtain parts same day and have heating system fixed within a few hours.

The service man came to the house on time at 6:30pm as promised. He came in with nothing but a flashlight and after informing me that he would have to perform "a complete diagnostic" he came upstairs about 20 minutes later to inform me the the furnace was "unrepairable" that the heat exchanger was cracked, that the ignitor was bad that the relay board was bad and that I needed a new furnace. He could connect me right then with his boss who could give me a quote for a new furnace. He estimated a price around $6000 for a new unit and told me he could begin removing the old unit on Sunday.. I declined. On the following Monday we had another company come in to look at the furnace. This servicetech arrived with a bag of tools and instruments. Their conclusion was a new relay board. They had to order this part. When it arrived it was installed in 20 minutes and we had heat. Total cost $422.00. The heat exchanger was not cracked and there were no other problems with the furnace.Do not let Rapid Response in your home.

I had used them in the past so I contacted them again. They really installed a well-planned, well-designed, and well-implemented heating system. The system is high efficiency and they didn?t cut any corners or rush the job. They were really fabulous. It is a very sophisticated system, they were unbelievably neat and tidy, they were quiet, they were professional, and they were responsive. The price is average; they are all expensive but they are no more expensive than anyone else.

The job went very, very well. There was a little confusion at one point, so the project was delayed for about a day. We had a humidifier added to the system, and we didn't really know how it worked. We called them, and they came out to check it and correct it. When my air conditioning failed in the summer, they were able to come out and fix it on the same day. They are very reliable and responsive.

They respond quickly and very efficient. They are expensive but very responsive. We were rebuilding our family room and we needed to add a new zone for heat and air. He suggested we replace the entire system, although he had no idea or suggestion of how to do work. He gave a price for using baseboard heating. The plumber that worked with the builder was able to use the existing system and everything works fine. They were not able to help me with this. His concerns were reasonable, but the other plumber was able to mitigate any problems. His suggestions were just not feasible for us.

Excellent, no trouble at all......as we prepared for the sale of our house there were a number of plumbing issues that needed to be addressed - mostly simple things but I just did not have the time and needed an A1 job for inspection. These guys answered my call quickly, responded on site within a few days and took care of business efficiently. Nice guy, pleasant - he took it all in stride and completed the work.

If you need quick services, they are the people to call.

I spent $5600 on that work. They have done two heating systems for me for the upstairs and down stairs and always did a great job. Their price was good and their response was great and the service guys were very, very good. If there were other things to be done besides the heater to make everything right, they understood that and got it done. I used them in February as well.
