Response from Paul Flaherty Plumbing Co Inc
I see from looking over the work our technician performed for you that your pressure regulator and gauge were replaced in addition to your leaking pressure relief valve. An hour and a half is a reasonable amount of time for such replacement, once he had diagnosed your problem. Your total charges included the replacement parts as well as his labor. Additionally our technician recommended an expansion tank to help reduce the possibility of excessive pressure build up in your system. Our technicians are trained to look for the source of your problem to prevent future issues as well as take care of your immediate repair need. Any additional work suggested is solely for your benefit and always at your discretion. We are very sorry your experience was of concern to you and appreciate your feedback. A call to our Service Manager with your concern would have allowed us to give you an explanation that perhaps would have been clearer than as was explained by our technician. It is our intention that all our customers receive the highest quality solutions to their plumbing and heating needs, and we provide ongoing training to improve and perfect our technicians in their technical expertise and diagnostic and customer communication skills. Our staff is always on hand to answer any questions or assist you with any concerns you may have at any time.
