We hired this company and they did respond quickly. They determined we needed a part for which we waited a week - I'm not sure when they would have gotten the part unless we pestered them. The part worked briefly and then the ac broke again. They returned saying they didn't realize other work was required. Then they suggested we install a new thermostat ,!which we did. After a few days the ac stopped working again and they told us to take it up with thermostat people. Not helpful. We're trying someone else. I wouldn't recommend this company.

Odean appears to be the owner of this business and is incredibly responsive. While my system is old and is due to be replaced, he suggested a cost effective fix that will probably get me through the balance of this season and maybe one more before I will have to bite the bullet and install a new system. I will very likely use Ideal Air HVAC for the new system.

Satisfactory overall. This was a complete central air system replacement and changeover from R22 to R410A. The owner is an experienced HVAC person but his helping technician is still early on the learning curve. Their brazing technique made me nervous because the copper line ends were not cleaned before the braze, but this is not necessary in the same way as cleaning before soldering. In the end the braze was made leakfree. My new evaporator unit was disassembled in error, expecting to swap the evaporator coils. This was a no-no. Had to be reassembled. The new evaporator was installed by some inappropriate bending of the furnace sheet metal. But in the end the system now functions as intended. In addition, by flushing the lines with the right flush and purge, they avoided the significant cost of removing the existing lineset, a difficult job. The condensing unit was placed on a pad I supplied, but not adequately filled underneath with gravel. They did not have the proper whip for connecting the outside unit. I replaced it with a longer one the next day.

I would rank the communication and professionalism of Odean and his technician as among the best I've experienced.

I contacted Ideal Air HVAC Odean came out within 2 days and tried to get our old A/C running but the compressor had failed. He gave me a quote for replacing the system. They will be coming today to replace my system and I will finish this review as soon as the new AC is installed.

ODean was able to diagnose and fix the HVAC problem almost instantaneously. Very professional and knowledgeable.
