After I ran all the programs as Jim had directed, my computer is working very well and running faster than it has in years. I am completely satisfied with the work he did. He was punctual and took time to explain what he was doing and why. I am not very computer literate, and he was patient with his explanations. The charge for the service was very fair.

As good as could be expected

Jim came over several days to assess, plan, and make the appropriate repairs to our computers. He is very knowledgeable, available, and flexible to provide the services we need. We have not been disappponted and we will continue to ask Jim for his assistance with our computer equipment in the future.

Very pleased with the services provided. Equally pleased with the time Jim took to explain the source of the laptop's various ills and what could be reasonably expected from a repair effort. I would absolutely return to GeekHandyman in the future and have recommended him to family already. .

My Dell laptop seemed to be infected with malware and kept shutting down. I left a message for Jim Labor Day weekend, assuming he would call me back sometime that week. He returned my call on Labor Day and invited me to bring over the laptop that morning, which I did. He asked me several questions to help diagnose the problem and also answered my questions. He removed the malware (which was actually "rootkit" software) and showed me exactly how he had done that. He also removed and/or disabled extraneous programs (after going over them with me) and installed free virus protection. He explained everything to me patiently. He was thorough, professional, and very fairly priced.

I sent Jim an email asking him to contact me about setting up a small business network. He replied promptly and we scheduled a call the following morning at 8 AM. He asked a number of questions of me and helped me to understand the scope of what I actually was requesting. While he stated he probabaly could do what we wanted him to do, we ultimately were asking him to do 3 weeks of work in 1 week. He said it could be done, but he didn't feel comfortable overpromising and underdelivering. I appreciated his candor and the fact that he spent over an hour of his time talking to me without charging a dime. I will definitely use Jim again.

He was very knowledgeable and had specialized software that let him mirror the hard drive to a new one I purchased. There were no issuses during or after. I'd use him again.

But i was surprised to get some one very knowledgeable willing to help me out at a resonable price. I felt like Geek Handy Man was offering charity. He's really great.

We had difficulty connecting at first - I think he was on vacation, but once he was in town, Jim did an awesome job at - diagnosing the problem, - getting and installing a replacement drive - restoring the old system He also took the time to go over everything that he did in troubleshooting and returned the old drive to me. If it were not for the difficulty in connecting at first, Jim would definitely have straight A's from me. I recommend his services if you are having problems with your computer.

Jim is very easy to work with and did a great job. Our PCs are running faster & smoother then ever! We were very impressed with his responsiveness and willingness to help. Also, his prices are very reasonable. We will definitely call Jim again for PC service.

Jim was very professional. We had 4 computers that were malfunctioning and Jim was able to fix all 4, on-site, in just a few hours. It would have cost over well over $1,000 to replace these computers. We will certainly call Jim again.

I called him on the phone, got his agreement to look at it, then brouht it over to his house and left it for him. It was done in about 3 days. Working fine now.

My PC power supply died. I called Jim and he said to bring it over, even through it was Sunday evening. By Monday morning, it was fixed. Great job!

Overall, our experience was excellent and I would definitely reccomend his services in the future.

He called back within 12 hours of the first call. We talked so he could understand the issue. I dropped the computer off at his home and picked it up a day later. Although we originally though some detailed work might be needed, he called to say that he was able to retrieve the files and the computer was working fine at that point. I would have never figured it out and would likely have gone to get a new computer. Well worth the payment and I would use him again. Highly recommend.

Jim is amazing! He is extremely knowledgeable with great attention to detail. He knows the ins and outs of hardware and software, and is good at finding what was appropriate for us, given our needs. He is very patient and willing to answer our endless questions. He can see both the big picture and also remember all the tiny details. He was meticulous about ensuring the computers were working exactly as we wanted. Our computers are our lifeline and we felt very comfortable putting them in his hands. My only (very small) concern was that once or twice it took me a couple of days to reach him, but I think that is because he is in great demand because he is so good!

I called Jim when I had trouble connecting a new laptop to my home wireless network. Jim called back within a couple hours and we set up a time the next day to see if he could fix the problem without a housecall. He talked me through the steps needed to solve the problem, and in a few minutes the problem was fixed! He was friendly and polite and gave clear guidance on the phone. I would definitely use his services again and would highly recommend him to others.

He did excellent work on correcting a problem that was caused by another repairman who inundated my computer with spam. Now my computer is back to functioning at high speed.

I like him very much. He?s very helpful and responsive. Whatever he says he does according to his description. His price was reasonable. I was very happy with whatever I paid and what I got. His charges vary from person to person. I would use his services again in the future.

Jim is very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He brings a variety of tools to enable his efforts. He came back twice to finish the job and all in all did a superb jib.
