I called MJ Eisenhauer Plumbers. They quickly scheduled an appointment at a convenient time for me. Very clear on costs ($50 to come out, which is applied to repair). The plumber was on time, professional, courteous, answered all questions about the work. (Needed to replace spindle,handle and diverters on shower faucet). Took 1 hour. Described alternative to repair & gave cost of that ( 800). This repair should last 7-10 years. The replacement much longer. Chose the repair. But it was nice to have options clearly stated. Can now take hot showers!

We called Mike on a Sat afternoon and a real-live person answered the phone and had one of the guys call us back same day, which was nice on the weekend. Lot's of plumbers SAY they have 24 hr service, but few really do, usually you get a machine or voice mail. Anyway, our bathroom was out of commission due to a broken ejector pump. Since we still had the upstairs bathroom, it was OK, parts were ordered, a call set up for Monday. Sunday afternoon we found that our upstairs shower was leaking (situation now approaching critical with one toilet, one sink, and both showers down.) We called again on Sunday, and again we were able to speak to a live human being who assured us that Mike would be out on Monday as soon as possible. When Mike arrived he quickly evaluated the situations. We had to replace the ejector pump, but the repair to the upstairs shower was simple. He also did a few other odd plumbing jobs for us, and all at a very reasonable price. Mike was quiet, clean and professional.

Having read Angie's List reports, I requested an appt. on their website (I had choices of date and times during the day) - made the appt. for 2 days later (when I'd be home). Got a call from a plumber early the day before to confirm scheduling -- on the date I'd requested and the time that I had requested as well. He explained their service policy (if the work isn't done at the appt. time, they charge a $50 service fee to be applied to the repair done later), was very professional and polite. 45 mins. before appt. got a call from the plumber - customer they were at added a few items to their workload and they might be late or at least on-time for my appt. Very professional on the phone. Arrived, surveyed what the problem was, gave an estimate and I said to go ahead and get it done. MJR and his colleague were quite, competent, respectful, and thorough -- job was done within an hour - left everything neat and clean and even explained their company is family owned and of high integrity.

I was impressed with the workers upon their entering my home they put shoe covers over their shoes. I had the plumber scheduled to come around 2:30 p.m. on the day of the fireplace insert being installed, but with the fireplace insert install being ahead of schedule the plumber was gracious enough to show up a couple of hours early. The plumber stated that his company gives straight forward pricing and explained how his company is family owned and how all their workers have criminal record checks done on them so you can feel safe having their employees in your home. It was nice to know before the work began how much I would have to pay and not be surprised by any additional charges. I will use this company again for any of my plumbing needs. I need to note that I had called a number of other plumbers simply to never have my call returned or returned within weeks. This company has a live person answering the phone, and an appointment was set up for me on the first call to their office.
