Do not hire MJ Eisenhauer Plumbing. Mike sent an apprentice to do the work of installing a toilet. The apprentice that came to install the toilet did not shut off the water to the main at the house and ended up shearing off the pipe to the upstairs bathroom. He completely flooded the 2nd floor bathroom causing over $4,000 worth of damage to the house. When Mike arrived he told me they were not responsible. I had hired Mike for jobs previously and wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, but this is not the first time he has been extremely rude. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.

I had a 40 gal water heater rust out and fail and leak all over basement. I contacted both Lowes and Home Depot who connected me with separate companies that quoted me starting around $2300 to replace similar capacity water heater, dispose of old one, pull permits and replace some gas piping valves. I called MJ Eisenhauer just to see if I could get a third option. MJ Eisenhauer, after seeing photos, quoted me $800 less to do same job with same type of water heater quoted by Lowes and Home Depot referred companies. They were at my house within 2 hours and had the new water heater installed in about an hour and a half. I was charged exactly what I was quoted over the phone. I couldn't be happier with these guys, Very efficient, very professional.

Excellent! They called the next business day, explained the process, and gave a very reasonable price range for the work, including clear descriptions of what would cause the work to come out at the low or high end of the price range. Day of the job, they were prompt, knowledgeable, and very efficient, despite having to work around a few curveballs in our 100+ year old home. Quality of the work was high and the price was very fair. Would definitely hire again.

Mike contacted us the morning after I submitted a request online for a plumber. He came to the house, inspected the heater and associated pipes. We decided to replace the heater and Mike suggested removing a now illegal saddle valve that had been installed years ago. I had him also disconnect my gas dryer so we could have the washing machine moved for service. The morning after the washing machine was repaired, Mike came back, installed the new hot water heater and removed the valves. We couldn't be happier. He and his assistant were excellent and the cost was very reasonable.

All work was done to de-clogg and clean out the kitchen drain pipe. The fee was reasonable.

Great job. Explained what he thought the challenges were, possible incremental services and cost and then showed how to properly maintain.

Mike did a fantastic job, I could not have asked for a better experience! Mike of MJ Eisenhauer Plumbing answered my phone inquiry quickly, came to the house the next day, listened to learn about the work, gave me a rough quote on the spot, came back in two days with all the parts and fixtures required, and completed an excellent work. I used Angie’s list to request quotes from three plumbers for the repair or replacement of an exterior faucet on my home. MJ Eisenhower Plumbing was the first to respond, and did so with a phone call within a matter of minutes from my inquiry. They happened to have an opening in their schedule that very day, and came punctually. They provided me with the options and the price ranges for each, and promptly completed the one that I selected. The time from initial inquiry to project completion was a matter of only a few hours. Great customer service. Amazing responsiveness. Applied my end useless discount without me having to ask for it. Thoroughly satisfied!

Mike was great to work with. He diagnosed the problem over the phone with me and helped me try to relight the pilot. Worked with me to try to locate the part locally and get the cost covered by manufacturer's warranty. He was extremely knowledgeable and able to explain to me how the parts should work and what was wrong. I will definitely call them again!!!

Mike arrived on time, assessed the situation and made initial changes to the existing gas piping. Because the company delivering the new fireplace insert had not arrived yet, Mike left and returned within the hour to work along side the fireplace insert team to hook up the unit. Very professional, organized and efficient!

They indicated it would be possible to fit it in during the day if someone could be there. Mike came and had us switched out and up and running in no time at all. Well, this job went south pretty quickly. It started out with a simple leaky toilet water supply valve. Our valve was way too old to fix with a new gasket, so it required a new valve. That was all pretty straightforward. What wasn't straight forward was that our water main started leaking at the shut-off. Michael quickly made calls to our town to figure out who's responsibility it was. Turns out it was ours (thanks Franklin). The town showed up quickly after Michael's call and turned off our water, and waited while Michael went and picked up a replacement valve. Valve replaced, and now we can turn of our water main without worrying about our basement flooding.

Mike got back to me right away even though my job was not an emergency. Everything was taken care of same day with great communication. Will definitely call Mike again!

Job done professionally at a reasonable price would hire again

I called to leave a message on Saturday, hoping they’d call me the following week. They called me back immediately to see if it was an emergency. I said no so they called me on Monday and completed the job on Wednesday. They had a much better quality toilet and did the job quickly and cleaned up spotlessly. It’s working great!

Mike was fast, yet thorough. This time of year, HVAC guys are straight out, running from house to house. Yet he diagnosed the problem, fixed it, and gave advice for if it arises again (through no fault of his.). Very nice, professional, and personable.

Excellent service. Mike did an especially good job of explaining the problem and offering options. The response was timely. The work was professional. I will definitely call this company again if we have a plumbing issue.

The valve was jammed and virtually impossible to operate. The technician suspected the entire assembly would have to be replaced but worked diligently until he was able to get the cartridge out (in pieces) saving hundreds of dollars over a complete replacement.

I was given a 2 hour window, 12:30 to 2:30pm. and Mike arrived at 12:45 pm. He introduced himself, and asked me to show him what we needed. He looked at my broken faucet, showed me how he would fix it, and gave us a reasonable price. We agreed on the price, and he installed a MADE IN AMERICA faucet. He was done within an hour. I recommend his work to anyone looking for quality work and a fair price.
