Gas water heater sprung a leak, and after a search on Angie's List decided to call M.J. Eisenhauer - whom I had not worked with in the past - based on their reviews, their 24-hour emergency service, and their close proximity to my home. Mike spoke with me on the phone - he returned my call in under an hour and asked several questions about the heater. Since this was a Saturday, a repair would have been considered an emergency and come at a higher service cost, but Mike suggested that based on the information I had given him the repair could likely wait until first thing Monday, thereby saving me some money, which I appreciated. He provided good advice on how to troubleshoot the situation in the interim and we agreed for him to come that Monday to replace the heater. He showed up on time and worked alone, bringing in the new heater and taking away the old unit. I found him to be very professional and very knowledgeable, with really good communication skills. He was done in about an hour and did not leave a mess behind - the install looked very clean. His price estimate was right on the money compared with the actual final cost - there were no surprises. It was a very hassle-free, pleasant experience, and everything has been working properly since the installation. I highly recommend M.J. Eisenhauer and would definitely have them work on my plumbing needs in the future.

I can't say enough about how great MJ Eisenhauer is. I called the office, he called me back within 30 minutes, and instead of coming out to check (at a cost) or setting an appointment for a week from now (as the first plumber I called wanted to do) he suggested I crank the heat in my house, because he'd had a bunch of similar calls with frozen pipes (given the recent subzero temps). I am a single woman, recent homebuyer, with pretty much zero experience fixing things. He could absolutely have come to the house and charged me almost anything, but instead he generously and patiently talked me through it, explaining in terms even I could understand, how to fix the problem myself. Two hours later, my shower works, the pipe has thawed and I will definitely be using Eisenhauer for any plumbing help I need in the future THANK YOU!!

Very pleased. Even though a small job called back right away, shceduled in a couple days, showed up on time . Very professional and explained a few things to me wjhich was good to know. Took his time and did thing right. Mike is very profesional, will most definately use again. Nice to support local business.

Very messy and complex cast iron replacement in a 200 year old house. Two plumber job to cut out and replace piping from behind a wall. I think there experience and professionalism really made this go as smoothly as reasonably possible. Pricing was a bit steep for 1 day job $3,500- I can only estimate the hourly rate north of $150/hour/person.

Came as promised, was very professional, gave estimate, and the job got done very quickly. There were no surprises, price was as estimated. Very satisfied - we have used this plumber for many jobs in our house and are always satisfied. We tried someone else on one occasion and could not believe how much they charged us for a small job, so we came back to this plumber who always has very competitive and fair pricing and does an excellent job and always cleans up after themselves.

Wow - Mike was responsive, meticulous, and did great work for a fair price. This was a fairly small job, but he gave it the attention of a much larger job. And he's there to work, make no mistake; he understands that time is money, and he's not out to milk a job. Highly recommended, will definitely use again.

Every time we turned on our water we could hear and feel a banging sound that seemed to be coming from the pipes. One day while we were in our basement, we heard the sound and it appeared to be coming from our well tank. It was the original well tank which was installed back in 1989 and was never replaced. I looked on Angie's list to find a local plumber and based on the reviews posted, I called MJ Plumbing. Mike returned my call and gave me an estimate. After speaking w/Mike, I did some research found the exact model well tank at a cheaper price and ordered it. Mike came and installed the tank. He showed up on time, did some tests and installed the new tank. He was very professional and answered all of my questions.

Mike was very responsive, gave a quote on the spot and was ample to do the work the same day. Overall thought his price was good, as it's hard to find a good plumber. The prices also included any materials he needed and his labor. He got back to me and was able to schedule a few days out.

They seemed very knowledgeable and they found a problem that I couldn't myself find. They did a very good and thorough job of fixing that problem.

Excellent service and work. Mike went over options and explained quality and prices for various products.Very efficient, neat and timely. I would not hesitate for a minute to recommend him. He was fair and honest.

We have had some plumbing items that needed to be fixed for awhile. We kept putting them off. Finally I found these guys and they were great. We discussed each item and he explained each issue in detail. We ended up using them to replace a toilet and a kitchen faucet. They were very responsive, thorough, cleaned everything up and went and bought the pieces for me. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have some plumbing repairs done.

I first spoke to Mike on the phone, and he provided me with several different options for replacing my hot water tank. In the end, I decided to go with a high efficiency tankless hot water heater, and I'm very happy with that decision and with the work they did. First they removed the hot water tank and capped the connection to the chimney. Then they established new gas lines, installed the new hot water system, and ran new exhaust pipes directly out of the house. The new system has been working great, and they did a great job. I would use them again for any plumbing work needed.

It was the best experience that I have had with a plumber. I found his price reasonable. He helped me make the decision which I thought was very nice of him because he had better ideas than I did. I thought they were very helpful in my decision making; they were very efficient and clean. They left the place immaculate. I found him on Angies List and he was pleased about it. He was punctual, came on time. He told me exactly what he is going to do and how long it would take. I thought that was wonderful.

I had a pipe break in my basement. He came out the day I called, within the 2 hours window he gave me. After he was done I asked him if he could remove a non-functioning garbage disposal, which he did. He had everything on his truck to do the job. He was clean and professional. I have used this company before to install a toilet and had the same experience. I was completely satisfied with that job also.

He was very good. I have nothing bad to say about him. He was on time, clean and the price was what he quoted. I would definitely use him in the future if needed.

Water was coming down through my kitchen ceiling. I called Eisenhauer Plumbing and they very promptly showed up at the house. Problem was quickly and efficiently diagnosed, all options for repair were clearly explained including the cost for each. Work completed, cost was a little less than expected and the work area was left as tidy as it was before hand. I would not hesitate to use this company again.

The job went extremely well. I informed Mike what problems I was having and he gave me a direct qoute with options of repairing rather replacing. I felt I could make an informed decision. He did not pressure me to send more money. His price was reasonable that I could afford to replace the items and not repair. I can't say enough good things about him. He informed every step of the way whats was going on.

I was experiencing water coming thru the ceiling in the famil yroom closet. Mike from Eisenhauer Plumbing right on time and was infact a bit early. I explained the problem and Mike took a look. Mike offered several possibilities and we began with the easiest most obvious things to try. I ended up getting a new shower head installed( I had already purchased one). Another idea was to reseal the tub water spout and the combination of the two did the trick. I did later find the silicone sealant that was used on the floor ins several spots as well as some other stuff that was wiped on my towels. I would have expected that he would have carried his own rags or asked for paper towels for such things. Other than the inconvience of having to scrape dried sealant off the floor it was a success.

Called on a Tuesday, Mike showed up to go over the issues on Wednesday, job completed on Thursday!

.Their price is very reasonable. They are very good plumbers and use excellent materials and do an excellent job. They are prompt and reliable. At one time I called them with a plumbing problem and they wanted to charge me $75 just to come out and look at the problem even if I hired them to fix it or not. I didn't think that was professional but I would use them in the future if I didn't have to pay them $75 to give me an estimate.

Plumber was on time and professional. He cleared a blockage in my sewer line and used a snake camera to look through the pipe for damages. A new toilet was also installed. I was given information and choices throughout the process and would use this company again. Showed up exactly at the time he said he would.

So far everything is good. He came and did a very good job. He was courteous, helpful and quick. He came here and saw the problem and went right to work. It took him a couple of days to do the work.

Except for our having to make two phone calls to his company to schedule a visit, overall experience was excellent. It was just before the Thanksgiving holiday so assume he was very busy with emergencies.

Mike was terrific. He returned my call promptly, which did not happen with other plumbers I contacted. He arrived on time for the job and worked quickly and efficiently. Very pleased!

He did perform the job. We thought the price was too high for a small job and the technician was very unwilling and unhelpful when we asked him to look into the small leak in the bathroom faucet.
