No problems...but not a “service”

I bought 3 major appliances at George Washington Toma TV & Appliance, one of which was this stove. They delivered and installed all of them for me. When I discovered the stove burner wasn't working, they came back immediately and repaired it at no charge.

George Washington is pretty good. I mean, for appliance repairs they are good. I want to say they might be slightly more expensive than other companies, but I am not totally sure about that. They are a smaller outfitter in this area for appliances and for small appliances you can bring things in there for repairs. For larger ones, they come to you.

This sales center probably is not quite as cheap as other places, but they are still reasonable. The selection is very good. I did find them to be very helpful and knowledgeable. I would certainly be willing to buy from them again in the future. I was very pleased overall.

George Washington Toma TV & Appliance has very professional and courteous employees. The men who came were very personable and neat. They were very careful not to harm my floor. They were very prompt. The company helped me get the exact colors and types of appliances that I wanted.

There was one person that came out to complete this project. He showed up on time, recognized the problem, and went to work. He cleaned out the unit and it has worked fine every since. We chose this company because they were Kenmore certified. They also charged less for a repair visit than the manufacturer.

I will never go anywhere else for my appliances. The prices were very reasonable, the selection was large, and most of all, the people were great. The salespeople were very friendly, and the delivery staff were very polite and helpful. They took all three old appliances out with no problem. They made my purchase very easy.

We eventually chose to get all our appliances at a company that is located in the town we live in. That said, that company matched each of Toma's prices which were very good. We are happy to be able to support local business. But, I would recommend Toma in a heartbeat to anyone looking for appliances. Their attention to customers, honesty, answers to your questions via email, and price, is worth the trip from anywhere!

EXCELLENT SERVICE. SUPERB. THE SALES HELP IS EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE (UNLIKE LARGE DEPT STORES). WE'VE SHOPPED THERE BEFORE AND WILL CERTAINLY SHOP THERE AGAIN. VERY COMPETITIVE PRICES.

I CALLED AND LEFT A MESSAGE ASKING FOR HELP WITH A REFRIGERATOR THAT WAS NOT WORKING. THEY DIDN'T RETURN THE CALL PROMPTLY AND WHEN I CALLED AGAIN I WAS PUT ON HOLD SEVERAL TIMES FOR EXTENDED PERIODS. FINALLY, AFTER DETERMINING THAT I HAD NOT DONE BUSINESS WITH THEM BEFORE, THEY SAID IT WOULD BE WEEKS BEFORE THEY COULD SEND SOMEONE OUT AND THEY SUGGESTED I MIGHT WANT TO TALK TO A SALES PERSON ABOUT BUYING A REPLACEMENT. I WAS DISAPPOINTED. I'M SURE THEY'RE GOOD TO EXISTING CUSTOMERS BUT THEY DIDN'T SEEM INTERESTED IN HELPING ME AND I DIDN'T APPRECIATE GETTING DIRECTED TO SALES.

THEY ARE ALWAYS ON TIME. THE REPAIRMEN ARE VERY FRIENDLY & KIND. THEY ARE SO HELPFUL & INFORMATIVE, VERY PROFESSIONAL. ANY PROBLEM WHEN I CALL THEY WILL ACCOMMODATE MY TIMES. I HAVEN'T HAD ANY PROBLEMS.

G.W.T IS ALWAYS ON TIME. VERY PROFESSIONAL AND ALWAYS BACKS THEIR PRODUCTS & APPLIANCES.

TECHNICIAN WAS PROMPT, EFFICIENT AND COURTEOUS. WE HAVE BEEN USING THIS COMPANY FOR 15 YEARS AND THEIR SERVICE IS ALWAYS OUTSTANDING.

GEORGE SENT HIS CREW OUT AND THEY SPENT A LOT OF TIME TO DIAGNOSE AND FIX THE PROBLEM. NO FURTHER PROBLEMS OCCURRED. ALSO VERY GOOD WITH APPLIANCES.

WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THE TOMA APPLIANCE REPAIRS. THEY HAVE BEEN VERY PUNCTUAL WHEN COMING OUT TO THE HOUSE AND VERY PROFESSIONAL AND EFFICIENT.

GEORGE WASHINGTON TOMA CAME OUT AND PUT A NEW BELT ON MY WASHING MACHINE. THERE OFFICE HELP WAS QUITE HELPFUL AND THEIR SERVICE WAS QUICK. THEY FOLLOWED UP WITH A CALL TO SEE IF I WAS PLEASED WITH THE JOB.
