It went wonderfully! He came out originally and said he could do the work that day, but we were having some work done in the basement. He said I could call him back when the work was complete in the basement so he could better serve me. He said that it would save me money to wait until the work was done because if we had done the work that day it would need to be re-done in about 3 months due to the moving and shuffling around in basement. I thought that was very kind of him. He was willing to make another trip out for my benefit at no additional cost.

It was pretty fast actually but they were a little pricey on other products. They're also a little disappointed when I said "I'm not sure if I wanted to do that". The quality though was good and they were quick that they were here a couple of hours.

I took the day out of work to wait for these guys, was told they'd be here between 9-11. got a call @ 9:40 telling me they had to cancel as 2 other clients cancelled in my area and it wouldn't be worth it for them-- Maybe next time someone asks if you travel to their area and it's an hour from your office you should just say no. Hopefully getting a refund through Angie's list will not prove to be difficult because I won't be rescheduling

Kevin arrived on time, ready to go. He was originally scheduled to clean and inspect each of the buildings four dryer vents located in each condo. After surveying the different dryer locations and setup, only two could be worked on. Of the two dryer vents that could not be serviced, he was very knowledgeable and clear as to why and what needed to be done to bring them into specification. The two dryer vents that he cleaned were heavily blocked with lint and functioning poorly after years of neglect. By the time he was done, both lines where clean and properly working. Not only did he clean the lines thoroughly, he replaced what duct needed to be replaced, and secured all connections with aluminum tape for longevity and durability. Kevin was professional, knowledgeable, and answered all of our questions and concerns. He worked quickly and efficiently and cleaned up as he went along.

He gave an honest opinion, saying that to do the work would blow soot into the house and that I should contact the Gas Co. to look at the furnace, which I did. I am glad to have been honestly dealt with.

Service was to a condo in a 4 unit brownstone building. Vendor arrived but was unable to the work since to access the dryer vent was from the room through a chimney serving the whole building. Vendor also could not access the air conditioning exchange. Recommended that we call a HVAC service.

The workers arrived earlier than scheduled time, which was difficult for us to accommodate. They were unapologetic. Then, they flat out refused to honor the coupon without the purchase of $300 worth of extra work. They were pushy and unprofessional in their explanations of their reasoning. When we told them we didn't want to purchase additional work, they left without putting our furnace back together.

They showed up promptly and professionally went over the special offer, what was included and what was not. They then surveyed the home counting vents and returns to determine what the overall cost of the full cleaning would be. Prior to beginning the cleaning job they visually inspected the furnace and filter and immediately identified an issue with soot on the filter. This indicates a problem that needs to be resolved before they can clean the vents or the work will be for no benefit. I appreciated their finding this problem and delaying the work until the problem is fixed. I feel that a company with less integrity might have performed the work anyway without letting me know that I had a problem. I will certainly call them back as soon as the problem is fixed and have them perform the work.

Two service men arrived and toured home to see where all heat vents and returns were located. They inspected the furnace components. They then wrote up a complete outline for what the home needed for work. I explained that I only wanted the work I had already paid for, nothing else at this time - thanking them for their recommendations. They required me to sign a company release from. At this point they wanted to know why I didn't go forward with any other other work. Why did they have to drive out 1.5hr for only this small amount of work. Did I not have an understanding that the minimal service was really only an inspection. Later I overheard them describing me with some profanity. The service was done, the areas left clean and a thank you from one of the men. I wished that they could have left me with some of the paperwork which they had filled out so I could review what was needed to have done in the future.

A crew of 2 handled the job very efficient and effectively. Unfortunately a previous job kept them there longer and they arrived late. Other than that, all was fine.

It went well. They arrived in the window told, and were good about where we had to have cleaned first due to a required nap for our toddler. They of course "upsold" us on things beyond the $39, but the fan motor was disgusting (coated with cat hair from previous owner) and showed us the picture, and explained how it affects the air quality as well as the functionality of the fan. We were "upsold" on the UV light but were given time while they performed other work to look over "Uncle Google" to determine if we need it or not (reviews / comments were half and half -- but due to the kids and my aggressive allergies, we went with it). We did hit a snag when the "heat sensor" on the motor broke, but it was already loose (we heard it starting in december), and they gave us a good recomendation of where to go to get the spare part and what to get (it was almost 5pm when most parts places close -- and an HVAC guy would cost ~$150+ for a $6 part that was easy to fix). Good guys and good service.

The $59 deal says dryer vent or duct cleaning, but for that price they only do ducts and I need dryer vent. So they I won't use the service.

East Coast Vent was very responsive and scheduled a date and time right away. The provider showed up on time and were very professional and courteous. The job took about as long as expected, and they communicated with me throughout the process to let me know what was going on. They did a great job cleaning up after themselves before they left--there was no sign that they'd been there at all. They did use some kind of cleaner (which they had told me was an option) that left my apartment smelling especially clean. Overall, I was very pleased with the service and will use them again.

I purchased the deal but when I attempted to schedule the service I was informed they don't provide the service listed in the deal on Mobile Homes. I was thinking of having them do a partial service but after considering the honest comments by the owner about the type of service they may be able to perform I decided to cancel the deal.

Well they never called to set up the appointment so I called them and the person on the phone said that the guy would call me in 1/2 hr but until this day I haven't heard from

He came to do the initial inspection and it turned out that I didn't have any air ducts that needed to be cleaned, only my dryer vent (which is supposed to be covered under the terms of the Deal) needed to be cleaned. The provider told me that the Deal wasn't applicable for the work I needed done, despite dryer vent cleaning being listed as part of the service. I ended up having him do the dryer vent cleaning as I figured I was just mistaken in reading the details of the Deal. That service cost me $99.00 and he advised me to contact Angie's List for a refund on the Big Deal purchase. After going back and re-reading Deal I feel like I ran into a bait-and-switch as I was wanting him to perform a service that should have been included in the Deal and he claimed was not so he ended up getting more money from me.

It worked out well. They were very nice, very polite, and very professional. They did their work and helped us with another problem that we had. They did other worked so it was a lot more than what we had paid on Angie’s List. But they did deduct from what we paid on Angie’s List from the final bill. I would use them again and I would recommend them. I expect them to clean the vents and that was it. They did point out a couple of things so that we thought that we would have them fixed. They did respond right away and they did make the appointment and I had to reschedule and they did reschedule. They were here within the range that they said they would be.

Company advised me that I only needed to keep 1 big deal to cover the work I needed done.

They tried to sell me on additional service by warning me that severe dustiness would result by only cleaning some of my ductwork. I dislike any form of pressure sales, even fairly mild, as this was. The house was vacuumed afterward and dustiness has not increased.

The owner and his assistant showed up on time fully explained the scope of the work to be completed and did the work. They were both professional, polite and neat.

They came out to clean my air ducts and discovered that my air unit had been installed improperly, so they were unable to do the job. They were very professional.

They had time issues due to a schedule change but kept in contact to let me know when they would come. When they arrived, their services were excellent.
