Went okay. They did seem to get a lot of fluff out of the dryer, so I was pleased about that. About 1/4 into the duct job they stopped it, claiming that they found soot in one of the large, old ducts. Based on this, they refused to continue, or to try to clean the rest, stating liability concerns. I didn't entirely believe them. I got the sense that they just didn't want to do the job, to be honest. I believe, since they were unable to perform the service they had agreed to do, that they should have refunded all or part of my Angie's List coupon. They got very prickly when I suggested this, and told me flat out that they "make no money on these Angies List deals" and that I was already getting a very good deal. Again, they did do part of the job, and I was glad that the dryer got cleared out.

The advertisement of this deal is a scam. Do not buy. Ultimately they came out and got the job done. They aren't cleaning the vents correctly. They cleaned the vents but didn't clean the three main parts. If you don't clean those main parts, within an hour of cleaning the vents, the vents will be dirty. Cleaning the main part costs about $900. It's very dishonest the way their approach is.

I had thought that they came to do the dryer vent, but actually they came to assess the heating vents and whether they needed cleaning. I saw that someone else wrote a review with the same misunderstanding. They gave me a price for cleaning the vents, which I didn't do then, but may do later. Then they cleaned the dryer vent. We had to reschedule due to both their and my time availability, but they came at the appointed time.

The scheduling was good. They were prompt. Work was done very efficiently, they were in and out. There was minimum disruption. The only thing I would think they could have done is bring a little bit more visibility into their pricing model and stuff. Not that their pricing was out of whack, but I would have preferred to have had some visibility before they were here to do some additional services. I was a little disappointed in that respect. Most of it was covered under the mega deal or whatever. I spent maybe $500 in additional services. I had a couple of follow-up questions and they were Johnny on the spot getting back to me after I called them. So very good in that sense. They technically were late, however they communicated that fact very well. Things outside of your control stuff happens, but they didn't keep me hanging around. They called me and told me that they were running late. My expectation from a company like them, with the ratings they have, was that the van should have had their professional corporate logo on it. It was just a white panel van. The guys were professional when they were here, but they weren't in uniform or anything like that. Again, my expectation was that they would come in a panel van with their corporate logo on it and maybe have some T-shirts on that said the company they're working for. They were just in regular clothes.

I explained that I had radiator heat but they sent someone out anyway. The man was unable to clean just the dryer vent because the deal said "air vent and dryer vent." I would have had to pay an additional fee for less work to get just the dryer vent cleaned.

I was not able to get the services completed because they do not service my area, however the overall customer experience with good. Good service.

I called to talk about the specifications of what I needed done but they only do homes with vent systems. I have an air conditioner that I needed looked at. I must have just misunderstood the wording of the advertisement. I think people need to be aware when they say vent they mean ones connected to the furnace.

The service was great. Made sure we were updated on arrival time for appointment. Did a nice job on the cleaning of the vent and ducts, dryer is much more efficient now. Detailed oriented and professional.

Could not do the work because he said the duct work was fiberglass.

After I gave them dates for service, they never responded for three months. No accommodation on scheduling. Upon reaching a human, I was called a liar and told they don't use email for contacting customers. They left four abusive voicemails. No apologies, no misunderstandings, just a full-on confrontation. Highly unprofessional. Highly disorganized. Highly abusive. No service was ever done. Stay away.

They promptly followed up to setup appointment. crew came on promised time. We negotiated the price for additional service to clean main lines and they completed all agreed upon services. Additionally they also changed the air filter which I had even though it was not part of the deal and additional services that I had purchased.

Bought the Big Deal for Duct cleaning. The guys showed up pretty late, but they had some issues with what sounded like a terrible client, so I didn't really think it was an issue, as I had the day off already. For the most part they were good about calling and letting me know their actual time frame. You see these types of duct cleaning deals all over and having never had duct work cleaned before I wasn't aware of how much these things actually cost, once they're in the door. It would have been nice when my appointment was made to be informed that typically most systems are larger than what this covers, or a way to gauge how I could figure out ways to do my own estimate before they came. That's just more of a customer service suggestion. But all in all, my new place smells better. Even though I'm not using any ducts until the winter, you can tell when you take a deep breath. I would call these guys again as soon as I needed more work done in their field. Nice guys to work with.

Unbeknownst to me at the time, I thought they did their job. They didn't do what I paid out the rear end to do. They stole money from me by not connecting a device. Shame on them for changing their name, hanging up on me when I called and then being told that they sold the company. Someone is still responsible for this breach in contract. Attempts have been made with certified letters and mail as well as phone calls- all have been ignored.

Hired to clean ducts. I anticipated a straightforward and reasonably priced job, per the ad (gotta read the fine print). I thought I was in for about $100-$200 but by the end it was $650 with up-sales. They were very punctual and pleasant. They have what I consider an unusual method of cleaning ducts. They blow air into the ducts and then vacuum the main duct. Seems this method would blow dust through the lines and out of the others. We've had the ducts cleaned several times previously and I've not seen this method. They missed the ducts in the finished portion of the basement. They also cleaned the dryer vent but after they left I noticed the vent had disconnected and I had to reconnect it. I was up-sold on a UV light for the furnace as a means of killing mold spores, also sold on cleaning the furnace motor. Cleaning the motor was a good suggestion and the photos they took proved it was needed. The UV light installation is another matter. It sounded like a good idea at the time though, in my opinion, very expensive. My post installation research has me very much on the fence about the effectiveness of this device.

I wasn't really pleased with them. I've never had my air duct cleaned before and I am not good with computers but I do say that they came in and they sold way more than the Angie's List price. We spent like almost $300 on what they did. They showed us pictures of what are vents like and they cleaned it and for extra money, they sprayed it with some kind of air freshener. That night I put the heat on and the entire house smells like hair burning. I called them and no one ever responded.

When I received confirmation of deal, I noticed that vendor would not clean only the dryer vent -- it had to be dryer vent plus ducts. We do not have air conditioning, so I called them to clarify.

They arrived as scheduled. With vent cleaning deals it is best to due your research and understand the terms of the deal, as the deals typically cover a limited number of vents, returns, and mains. There are also added services that the companies will offer (UV, sanitizing, coil cleaning, etc.) at additional costs. Knowing this beforehand will allow you to research and be informed when the offers are made. East Coast performed the work in a timely fashion, they were neat/cleaned up, and personable. There was a soft sell on additional services, including a general overview of the benefit of each.

We had an Angie's List deal and wish something was done for the money we spent on the deal.

It was okay. They made it so you had to call them to make an appointment other than them reaching out to you. The customer service and the office were not good at all. The responsiveness at first was not good. The worker was a good guy and he was professional. They cleaned up nice.

We got in contact and scheduled a date. I wanted the work done as soon as possible, but I had to wait until October to have the work done. They never showed up for appointment and they never called to explain why. I inquired with Angie's List about a refund. I would not recommend them.

They where on time, professional, and friendly. Gave me a estimate prior to starting the work and explained what did and did not need to be done.
