Description of Work: Their technician inspected the situation (a complex building vent in apt building) and though he was not able to find a solution, made a good recommendations. Specifically he referred me to a different firm that specializes in complex dryer vent situations. He also did not charge me anything, though I was expecting an inspection fee of some kind. While the problem was unsolved, I think they behaved in a very professional and honest way.

Description of Work: We purchase a system vent cleaning. It took about three months to schedule. I guess due to the number sold. It turned out we did not have the right system to be able to clean it. They did spray something into our system that was supposed to clean the internal air They said it wad a cost savings to us.

Description of Work: The $79 coupon we purchased only covered 1 main line and return for air duct cleaning. As we had 3, the provider quoted over $350 to perform the cleaning.

Description of Work: The company sent two people to provide the service. They came and inspected the vents and told me that I did not require the service because the vents were already clean. I appreciate the advice they gave. They even provided pictures of the insides of the ducts and vents. This proved to be very useful.

Description of Work: Overall we had a pretty good experience. They charged way less than other competitors who had tried to fleece us with a low price and then up the rate when they came to our home. They were very straight forward and even stated they didn't know why others charged so much to clean vents. Very nice guys and would use them again if I had to. They cleaned all the main lines and returns and the blower motor.

When the service representative came, I found out that due to the number of vents in my home, I was going to have to spend another few hundred dollars to get it done. Description of Work: the work has begun and I DO NOT feel comfortable having this company into my house. The various phone calls asking to show up at my door step the next day is bothering me a lot...This company has my address and here they are calling to see if they can come to my house the next day. Of course I say no as I am working...then I have to worry whether this crew is casing my house as (A) they know I'm not home and (B) they have my address.

Description of Work: They arrived, went up into my attic/crawl space, and then came back down and basically said that its too cramped in there for them to perform the service comfortably. So they left, saying Sorry.

Description of Work: Every penny spent was wasted. More than two months from paying to service. And then when they came, they said they wanted $180 to do the job. In their view a "return", only one of which they say they will do, is one foot from the grate to the pipe to the furnace. The vent out, of course, is the entire length. What they say they did, and I cannot tell as I went for a walk, took less than 20 minutes. And then the speech to get more, and "You don't know how to read, and I am not responsible for that." Surly slackers. And shameless pirates. I would stop anyone from using them. And if it was not more than two months since I paid, I would stop payment on the check.

That was helpful since It was a new system and I didn't know where to find it. The cleaning went a lot quicker than I expected.

Description of Work: The service men were very pleasant and polite. They immediately introduced themselves, and played with my dog. (A big seller for me!) They inspected the entire system, and informed me that they could not perform the service, as my system was more than thirty years old, and had five main lines, and the coupon was only good for one main line. I did not know this, as I am a 70+ year old widow, and know nothing of the venting system. Their estimate for the job was more than $500, which I can not afford. They were very kind when I told them that, and were not at all upset that they had made the call for noting. If I ever get $500, I would certainly call them back.

Description of Work: We paid to have the ducts & dryer vents cleaned. They told us the ducts were covered with asbestos and that would need to be remedied before any cleaning could be done. Since they were at our house already, they offered to clean the dryer vent anyway and not charge us for this service.

Description of Work: I was easily available to schedule the service visit. the contractor arrived on time however after a 2 minute evaluation stated he was unable to perform the service on the dryer vent as the vent is on the 2nd floor. He also stated we don't really do dryer vents, whih is not how the Big Deal read.
