Response from Engineered Home Solutions
I never got a notification from Angies list that this person wanted a quotation, nor did I receive a phone call from her. So I had no knowledge of a pending project. I always respond within 24 hrs when I am contacted. Angies list is looking into this problem to prevent it from happening again.

I've never done work for this person and don't even know who it is. I never got a notification from Angie’s List that this person wanted a quotation, nor did I receive a phone call from this person, so I had no knowledge of a pending project. I ALWAYS respond within 24 hours when a customer contacts me.

Description of Work: Master bathroom remodeled. Cost was a little high, mid-range of 3 different quotes, but we were impressed with John's professionalism. His subs, especially dry wall and plumber guys, were excellent. He stuck to his schedule and kept us informed.

Description of Work: He gave us an estimate on finishing our basement. John was professional and timely. We are putting our project on hold. But we were totally impressed with him. He came over several times for measurements and gave estimates and ideas. Very impressed!!!!!

Fantastic- no complaints.
Description of Work: John and his company have pretty much renovated our cottage 100% iinside and out over the past 3 1/2 years. This is our vacation place, but John worked very smoothly with us withus and we never felt out of control. Even though we couldn't be in town all the time to keep tabs on things he was great about phone calls and emails and pics to keep us in the loop. He finished and water proofed the ratty old basement, including shoring up structure, updating electrical, plumbing and heating systems. He reconfigured two bedrooms to give us a beautiful master bed room and bath, he added insulation, replaced rotten sills, replaced a rotten door, put on new shingles, turned a screen porch into an elegant sunroom, gave us a patio and back yard instead of a dust bowl, and completely re-did the detached garage so it is better than it was when it was new 35 years ago. John gave our place a touch of class it never had before.
