Description of Work: Mike came to run water to our new refrigerator. We also had him clear a bathroom drain. It was a small job, but Mike was responsive, timely, and very reasonable.

Description of Work: Mike was professional and performed the work neatly and correctly. Overall I thought the cost was high but he was able to come at my earliest convenience.

Description of Work: I called for a heating problem with a burst baseboard pipe on a rental property. Mike agreed to travel over 2 hours to take care of this on an emergency basis on Saturday, even though I was not in his regular service area. I eventually found someone closer, but we spoke several times before that and he was willing to come if I need. Priceless to me.

Description of Work: I contacted Mr. Lulu in the late morning of 12/31/12 with a request to contact me regarding a significant back-up/blockage in our kitchen sink & garbage disposal. He never returned my telephone call.

Description of Work: I originally called Mike Lulu Plumbing for a bad clog and a small leak in my three family home. As always it turned out that the drain in the house was cracked. The drain had to be repaired from the basement on up to the second floor. Mike gave me a price and stuck to it. The job was done completely in one day. When he left he cleaned up and made sure that there wasn't anything left behind. Having investment property I need someone realiable to do repairs I will be using him again and recommend him to anyone.

Description of Work: Mike came to the appointments on time and did his estimates on time, maybe not as thoroughly as we'd have liked-more detail would have helped. He is a very nice guy to work with. We'd asked for an estimate on an outside faucet too but he hadn't included that so it didn't get done as we had a deadline and he wasn't prepared to do it before the deadline. He also got the shower system in and it's hot/cold were reversed which he had to fix again because he hadn't read the directions-at the cost of $95/hr I don't think too many mistakes are good for a professional. Overall the other two sink faucets went in well-my husband got the pipe piece for the upstairs faucet system that Mike didn't have and was going to make up-the piece cost $2 at home Depot and who knows what time it would have taken to make it up. It also meant we didn't have that sink for a few days until Mike came back. We are not used to having to hire plumbers so we found it difficult to find one and also pay one more than my husband used to get as a professional electrical engineer.

Description of Work: I had a homeowner plumbing repair to a shower valve go awry. Mike came in and was very prompt, courteous, and professional. He was quick and helpful. I have already called him for an estimate on some subsequent work.

Description of Work: Removed 6X12 portion of kitchen ceiling. Replaced all copper piping with pex tubing.

Description of Work: We had a broken baseboard water pipe that caused significant damage. We called Mike at 6 PM and he wrapped up the job he was on and was at our door within 90 minutes. He quickly identified the root cause and fixed it promptly even though it was in a very awkward location. He made a careful check to ensure that he had found all the problems and got our water (and heat) back on.

Description of Work: My elderly homebound mother had her gas shut off by the gas company due to a gas leak. The leak was in the middle of the piping. She was left without hot water and ability to cook. After finding him on this list, my mom called him and told him that her gas had been shut off. Mike arranged his schedule to arrive within a few hours despite the fact that the job might have lasted into the evening. He completed the job same day, was professional and courteous, his rate was reasonable, and he called the gas company for her to request they come back and unlock the gas after he fixed it. . He was professional, explained clearly what needed to be done, and worked diligently to complete the job in time for my mom to get her hot water back same day. I will certainly use him for my plumbing projects and recommend him to others.

Description of Work: I replaced the guts of my shower valve, but when I turned the water on, I found I had caused a microfracture in the solder of the joints connecting one of the supply pipes to the valve body. I considered attempting a repair, but I thought it best to call in the pros. In came Mike.

Description of Work: They last thing they did for me was my kitchen and bathroom, but I have hired them for various things in the past.

Description of Work: I used Mike Lulu to replace the copper piping with plastic piping from the water main to the boiling unit and other sections. He also set up an outside faucet.
