Mike was excellent. Called him and he arrived to do the work a couple hours later. He was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. The cost was reasonable, and I will be hiring Mike for future for plumbing jobs.

Mike winterizes my home in the fall and opens it up in the spring. He recently replaced a toilet and sought to find one that I was looking for. He comes when he says he will come. He is professional and dependable. He is fairly priced, and I feel confident that I have a good plumber whom I can rely on.

Happy with the service provided. Mike explained what the issue was and how it needed to be fixed. I also called him to check out a leaky shower which he gave me a very honest answer on which I appreciated. Would definitely call again.

Every time Mike Lulu came to my home to do work, he has been prompt, professional (yet friendly), and has gone above and beyond to make sure everything was working...and even went out of his way to do a few of the extra small touches that make a difference. He also was willing to explain why a problem occurred and what he was doing. The prices were always reasonable. I have always been very satisfied with his work. I will certainly call Mike again for any future work.

Okay, but due to a death in his family (sorry), it took a week+ to hear from him.

Fantastically well - everything was perfect - he brought in a good electrician who helped complete the job. The price was reasonable and he even directed me to the site to get a refund on this green product.

Excellent as usual. Mike has done a lot of work for me. I need to write a review and add images of a bathroom remodel he did. Absolutely beautiful for a small space! Competitive price too! Needed a new water heater and as usual it was a perfect job! Always headache free, and Mike makes everything look easy. Mike is sincere, personable, & decent. I call him first for everything. SUPERB !! Mike is a gentleman, his work was perfect, neat and clean up. Had forgotten to mention two new shower heads. He did them and would not accept additional money. His fees for work above Angie deal were VERY inexpensive.

Called twice and left messages and never received a phone call in return.

After my pipes burst causing a small flood in my basement and first floor, I identified Mike as a local plumber with good reviews on Angie's list, and reached his cell phone while he was at the local supply shop for another job. After some hesitation due to his other commitment, he offered to come by and assess the situation. He quickly help me isolate my burner and water supply, and drain the system to release pressure on the pipes and help assure no further damage. He suggested carefully inspect all pipes which could save some time and money if he or someone else had to find other leaks, and gave me some best case prices, assuming no surprises, along with a frightening "worse" case. He took no money at this time, saying he would work it into the final charge if he ended up repairing the pipes. He stated that he could rearrange his schedule and come the next day if I couldn't find another plumber to come ASAP. After he left, I decided to not to call around and just called him. He said the earliest he would get to us would be around 10. At about 10:00, he texted me and said he would be here within the hour. 45 minutes later, he arrived with a helper, repaired the pipes, pressurized the system checking for leaks, filled the pipes with water, bled the air, and confirmed the furnace/hot water was properly working (with no leaks), and cleaned up. He said to call if any issues (such as air in the pipes), and he would return to re-bleed them (it was not necessary). Total time: two men 3 hours each, plus the visit the day before; at the low end of his anticipated price range. He also explained bursts like this are common when people have wood/pellet stoves, and don't run their heat several times a day.

Mike was great! It took two days to complete all the work but he did a great job. He even moved the washer from upstairs to the basement which wasn't technically part of the scope of work. We plan on doing some further work in our kitchen and will definitely call on Mike to perform the work. Overall very happy with the work.

He did a great job at a very fair and reasonable price. Took apart faucet, made recommendation, even told us to use his name to get a reduced price for a new faucet. He did such a great job putting it back together, it stopped leaking and hasn't leaked since. He came soon after I first called. Mike is friendly, personable, and skilled. I'd call him again.

Woke up to frozen pipes on 2/16/14. Mike was the first of 4 plumbers to respond to my phone call. In less then a hour Mike was onsite and was able to get the water flowing. Mike was professional and answered all my questions. The one hitch was that Angie's list shows that Mike accepts credit cards, which turned out to be not accurate. However Mike was nice enough to let my check float for a couple of days till I could get the proper funds into my account. All in all I would consider using Mike again for plumbing issuers.

After suffering three frozen heating pipes and the resulting flood, Mike called me back and immediately came over to give us an estimate. He was friendly, helpful, informative, and genuinely cared about his work, what we were going through, was sensitive to the fact that we have a toddler in the house and needed heat back quickly, and he knew the best ways to help us get up and running again. He was very honest and communicative and so we knew that any issues or questions we might have, he would address them honestly. Mike got our pipes replaced and even searched for potential problems. He never pushed us to get more work out of us and even made recommendations for things that I could/should do on my own to fix a few future concerns. We were more than happy with the price and the service. I know one thing now and this is that I have found the plumber that I will ALWAYS call to take care of us. I don't even want to think about looking elsewhere. Seriously, I highly recommend his services.

I called Mike and told him what we needed done over the phone. He gave me accurate quotes about the cost of the labor and the cost of the items that he would need to purchase. We had already purchased the dishwasher. He was polite, punctual, personable and neat. He completed everything we need done. I would recommend Mike Lulu Plumbing.

The service turned out good. He did what he was supposed to do, and I thought he did a good job. I would certainly recommend him. The price was good, it cost me what he said it was going to cost me, so his estimate was accurate. We are very satisfied with the work that was done. He was very responsive, he came the next day. He was there at the time he said, and he was very punctual. I left him to do the job, and he finished it at the end of the day without interactions with anybody. The quality of work was good.

Fantastic! Mike was responsive and gave me a quote over the phone based on what I wanted and my description of my house/basement. He was able to stay under this quote! When he came out to see the site he suggested moving the heater right under the main water stack/bathrooms so the hot water was available almost instantly - so smart! He also recommended an electrician who came out and got the unit wired in before it was even delivered. He has also called to check in and see how things are going post-install, and to ask if I have any questions since I couldn't be there while it was installed. Overall - awesome job! I'm so pleased and have truly hot water for the first time since I bought my house! I'd recommend Mike Lulu Plumbing to any and everyone!

Whole experience was very good: quick response through Angie's List, then by phone. Was able to come very soon, on time, with assistant. Explained everything he did clearly, and justified most of his rather high price. I should have requested an estimate in advance, but will probably use him again.

So I went on Angie's list and emailed 3 different vendors asking for quotes. Mike was the only one to respond. I also reached out to my regular plumber (Valley Plumbing) to have them come out and do the job. They said they'd call me back to confirm they could come the next day. No call. Next day I called them and there was a message saying they were on vacation and not back until the next week. So I called Mike around Noon on Friday. He said he had 3 jobs ahead of me but would call me later in the day if he could fit me in. He called right when he said he would and did fit me in. He came out did the job and I'm very happy with the work. I think Mike will be my new Plumber!

Mike returned my call within a few minutes of my message via Angie's List. He had other jobs to do and indicated he would call when they were completed. He called, scheduled a time to do the job. Showed up as scheduled and replaced my old tank with a new one. He was very professional.

Was upfront about cost and time needed to finish the job. Would recommend for all plumbing needs. Cost was very competitive and reasonable.

Mike is very responsive and answered my questions on my first call to him. He set the appointment upon his immediate available time. The first plumber I consulted wanted to jackhammer the basement floor and replace every inch of cast iron, so I was very happy to find Mike, who was properly skeptical of the wisdom of massive interventions intended to solve problems one isn't actually having. Most notably, I have a whole-house trap, which no one building a new house would install for fear of ugly clog, but mine *doesn't* clog, so why tear apart the basement to remove it? Mike gets this school of thought, and doesn't try to sell you services you don't need. What Mike did do was removed all sections of cast iron -- mostly horizontals, where water sits -- that had corroded through and replace them with plastic. This sounds simple in theory, but it's hot, messy, unpleasant work, so I appreciated his maintaining a cheerful disposition throughout. (My house sits on a hill, so all that old, heavy, mucky cast iron had to be hauled down 36 steps to the truck. I would have moaned.) It's been year since the job -- my original Angie's List review somehow vanished -- and all the drains are working perfectly. He also cut out the remains of the original system for delivering hot water to the bathtub, allowing me to make that utility-access space into a useful little closet. Plus, he replaced the drains under my double kitchen sink -- no extra charge -- because he had to take them out to replace the stack beyond them, and upon inspection declared them badly done. Now, instead of two separate small traps, I have an single, solvent-welded drain assembly; if anything ever clogs, I can unscrew three plastic nuts and remove everything between the bottom of the sinks and the wall in one piece, take it outside, and clean out the whole thing with a hose. Having had trouble with double-sink drains in a previous house, I can attest that this is a great idea.
