George did a great job. We were extremely pleased with his service, punctuality and how responsive he was to our scheduling requests. He always got back to us right away. While at the house, George and his team were incredibly professional and went above and beyond our expectations. We plan to use him again soon to install a lighting fixture.

We had some concerns with the electrical in our house after purchasing last year. We had George come in and take a look at all outlets and switches to confirm that things were in proper order. He identified GFCI outlets that were no longer functioning and provided a list if items that needed to be take care of. George also replaced a few switches that were giving us trouble and explained everything along the way. Will definitely use his services again for our next job.

I called George needing an inspection for knob & tube wiring that I needed an electrician to sign off in order to proceed with home insulation through Mass Save. George told me right away it was $150 and rebated through Mass Save and said he could come by the next day. He called me the next day and came right over. He inspected the attic, the basement and tested all the outlets. George was very personable and gave me advice on how to fix other issues in my house by myself. Will definitely have George on call for other needs in the future.

George stopped by within an hour of me calling him to look at the exhaust fan and provide a quote. He even suggested cheaper solutions I could try myself before hiring him. When those didn't work out, he came the next business day to replace the fan. The work was done well, efficiently, and at a great price. I'll definitely call him again for any electrical needs!

Highly recommend T & G Electrical. This past March, George put in 2 recessed units and a heater/exhaust fan unit in a bathroom. We were impressed with the work he did,as well as with George,himself...so,when we decided to brighten up the upstairs and the downstairs hallways and stairs,we knew who to call to get the job done right. George was always on time,easy to stay in contact with and very responsive to any thoughts or questions we may have had. I know from previous electrical work done by others, George's prices are reasonable and fair. No negative comments for T & G !!

We experienced a burst pipe in our basement on a Saturday evening, causing water to leak over and into our electrical panel. After going through the yellow pages and calling several electricians, I luckily came across T & G Electrical. I called, left a voicemail and within minutes George of T & G Electrical called me back - again this was a Saturday evening. Being very understanding and sympathetic to our water damage and issue we were facing, George arrived at our home within an hour and quickly assessed the damage, dried out the panel and restored power. George even stayed by for an hour afterward helping me to find the root cause of the burst pipe throughout my crowded and damp basement! He didn't charge any extra for this, even considering this was a Saturday evening! Weeks later, when I had second electrical problem, George was able to diagnose over the phone and save a trip out and didn't charge me anything. In summary, George is an excellent electrician, extremely responsive, full of integrity and generally a kind man to work with. I highly recommend George and will use him and T&G Electrical for any electrical services in the future.

George was able to come by after normal working hours to take a look at my problem. I was experiencing intermittent power outages in my man cave due to the introduction of a new supercomputer. He arrived, took a look at the problem and told me what I would need to do. Transparency was excellent. We went online together to see how much the direct cost of a new arc circuit breaker would be at Home Depot. He let me know that he could go and pick up the item and complete the job that evening. No fuss. We shook on the deal and he drove to the nearest Home Depot to pick it up. 15 minutes later, George returned to install the arc circuit breaker. Done in 20 minutes. I have been testing since that time an it's as stable as a rock. Nice guy, good honest work, good price. Can't beat that.

George and Harry were prompt and had a great attitude. They worked around problems and were very responsive -- including a follow-up call to make sure everything was going OK afterwards. I'd be happy to use them again. Highly recommended.

I sent Mr. Boukouvalas an e-mail message on 6/18 asking if he could replace two 100 Amp service panels in a condo we are buying in Cambridge, and have had no response as of the evening of 6/21. This lack of response make me think Mr. Boukouvalas might not be a good fit for my job. I will look elsewhere for a qualified, RESPONSIVE electrician.

As an interior designer for Redecorating by Melanie, I was in a real bind and had a client installation that couldn't wait. T & G Electrical literally came to the rescue. They showed up at my clients home on time with all of the necessary equipment and supplies. They handled the clients property with respect and approached everything professionally and with a great sense of humor. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them on future projects.

I was looking to install 220V in my basement for a higher-efficiency dryer and also had a few non-working outlets. George was very responsive, first to my initial inquiry and then followed up in a timely manner about scheduling the work. He was able to come look at the work to be done within 2 days and was then able to complete the work that same day. He was very courteous and professional, and the work was done within a couple of hours. I would absolutely recommend T&G Electrical for similar work and am likely to call them again in the future with additional needs.

We were in the process of moving into a new home and did not have the correct electrical wiring for the clothes dryer we were bringing with us. On very short notice I called T&G electrical and asked George when he may be able to do the work. He asked if I had the replacement chord-which I did have. He said he could stop by that evening on his way home and do the job. He called that evening, said he was on his way- and arrived shortly thereafter. He took the old chord off, replaced it with the new one and in about 15-20 minutes the dryer was up and running. He double checked the connections, ensured the unit was well-grounded and safe. We are very pleased with the quick response and professional way of T&G handling our request.

George and T&G Electric represent an excellent value in a reliable electrician. He is clearly passionate about his work and was prompt in communication, on time, and flexible. George and his guys installed several recessed lights two finished rooms (old work), as well as 3 ceiling fixture boxes in existing bedrooms. He was able to do most of this work on a Saturday, which was very convenient. He finished the work later in the week. The work was done well and at a very competitive price. They are, however, not the tidiest and most delicate tradesmen I have hired. For example, one of his electricians used a Sawzall to remove an old outlet box cracked the drywall around a swichbox. A hand tool would have produced better results. The same electrician used a screwdriver and his hand to open a hole in some basement drywall to gain access to a wire. Again, a hand saw would have left a cleaner hole. A little extra vacuuming, spackle and paint were needed, but I certainly do recommend George and his crew.

They came out three months ago. There were no dislikes. They worked hard and got it done. They were very responsive and they were always on time. I would use them again.

I have used T & G electrical on several different occasions in almost all the rooms in my house. They've installed lights, electrical sockets and exhaust fans. I am always pleased with the results and trust their judgment when it comes to placement of lighting and outlets. I find them to be very helpful and reasonably priced. They are prompt, reliable and efficient. They always explain what they're going to do ahead of time and summarize it for you once the job is complete. Another no hassles, professional, and efficient job by T&G Electric! All work was completed in less than 2 hours.

George and Harry came out promptly this week to help me untangle some electrical mysteries. This was the second time I have hired George and his partner (10/2013). I am one of "those women" who do a lot of research and haunt the aisles of hardware stores so I am able to repair and fix most any home repair issue I come across. I'll happily replace a ceiling fixture and switch, but some things just require a professional. I have learned its imperative to know your limits. Here are the repairs made: *Navien kept tripping GFI outlet (Navien tech said is was probably the GFI and it was). *Replaced doorbell chime and doorbell - I was all set to do this, but they offered because it took them 10 minutes. *Wired up a motion sensor light that previous electrician (pe) left unwired. *Rehung and fixed motion sensor light that pe hung under soffit that was intended to hang on a vertical wall. *Untangled how 3 different flood lights were operating from 3 different power sources. *Covered junction box in attic. *Took out and secured old wiring that was LIVE in junction box (the pe told me not to "worry" about those wires and just to "not mess with them." *Helped solve remote control issue with fan I installed. George contacted me the next day to make sure everything was still in working order and that all mysteries were solved. And- most importantly, put up with overly involved and interested homeowner with a ton of patience and a good sense of humor. Of course I'd hire George again. I'd be crazy not to.

T&G were one of 4 four contractors I quoted before moving forward with my full house renovation. From the beginning, they impressed me by providing the most comprehensive and low-impact plan for rewiring my century-old house, while also managing to offer the lowest overall cost. Once we started, their team proved to be expeditious, conscientiousc, and efficient. They spent only seven full work days on the overall project and were willing to adjust all of those days to my own DIY work schedule. They were not late for a single work day,nor did they cancel or reschedule any work. All of my calls, texts, and emails to their team leader were responded to in a professional and immediate manner, I never felt like my project was a low priority to T&G despite their busy work schedule. They passed both rough and final inspections without incident and fully earned payment at each phase of construction by providing a very high quality level of service. In my mind though, the most impressive part of my work with T&G were their willingness to offer up creative and cost-saving ideas to improve the efficiency and design of my house. T&G was a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend their services to anyone.

The work was great! We changed the job from the original quote and George was flexible. Quotes provided promptly. Work scheduled quickly. Showed up on time and finished in a day. Left everything very neat. Patched holes that were necessary for running the wires (note you will need to do a little touch-up painting after electrical work). Even sent me a follow-up note recommending I change the light bulbs to a higher wattage, which made a big difference!

I have used T&G for a range of projects both large and small. They always arrive on time if not early and clearly explain the work that they will do that day and any potential obstacles they may come across and are well prepared with any parts that may be needed. They are very professional and take the time to prep work space to keep it clean and clean up the work area afterwards. Tjheir pricing is always fair and reasonable. It is a pleasure to have a contractor that cares this much about their work and reputation.

George and his co-worker were very punctual. We through everything I hoped we could get done and they tackled each project in the most logical and efficient order. They had to run to Home Depot for supplies but made sure they had a full list, correct measurements and that one of them could continue working. They worked hard, we're polite and the end results are perfect. The work was done more quickly than I expected and the price was less than what they quoted. I have already taken George through my next set of projects and look forward to having him come back to get those done too. Thank you both for making this so easy for me!

George and his crew installed 4 recessed lights in two bedrooms in our 1960's home. They had to go into the attic and drill holes in the ceiling in order to install light fixtures. They also changed out light switches and installed dimmers. They were very efficient and cleaned up any debris from the job.

Outstanding work as always! George is always punctual, very efficient, very knowledgeable, clean and meticulous with his work. His prices are also very reasonable. I highly recommend his services!

George was very responsive, punctual and professional. He was very patient while my children were "deciding" which game consoles they wanted to have on that television. When they finally decided George set them up. A very important point to make is that after they were done they was not any debris left behind...very neat!!!
