New water heater put in place, and quickly.

We use Pat Roscia for all our plumbing needs. He and his employees are reliable, professional, prompt, and always priced fairly.

This particular morning was very cold and windy. Approximately 11:00 am I noticed that all of my baseboards were cold. The pilot in my gas furnace was out. I managed to get in lit but it would not stay on. I called the company and they let me talk and explain my problem. They told me that one of their service men was out on a call on the other side of town and that he would be by after he was finished. The tech. showed up within a couple of hours with a part in his hand. He was very polite and easy to talk to. He changed the coupler on the furnace and lit the pilot again. He was finished and cleaned up in a very short time. I've used this company before and wrote another review on them. I love that there a small local company very close to me and do excellent work. Everyone that I have dealt with in the company is very nice and easy going. I will be calling them in the spring to replace 2 outside leaky faucets.

A local house about a mile away had a gas explosion and shook my house causing a pipe to come apart at the coupling. My GC had recommended this contractor before I saw them on Angies list. Two gentlemen from the company came to do the job. They were so easy to talk to. They came in and made casual conversation for just a minute and then got right to work. They had to tear down a good portion of the wall to get to the pipe. It was pre-determined that my GC would patch the wall and I would paint it. It took them a few hours to finish the job. They had laid down drop cloths and cleaned up all of the mess when they were done. If felt very comfortable having them in my house as I am a middle aged female that was home alone. They didn't ask for any payment, they said they would send a bill. I received a bill for $75.00 less then a week later and sent them a check immediately. I highly recommend this contractor.

I woke up on the morning where the biggest blizzard of the decade was supposed to start, finding that my water heater was utterly busted. The take had ruptured, there was water everywhere, and unless I got it replaced within a few hours I was likely to have to weather the blizzard without hot water. Roscia plumbing came in within hours of being called and replaced the water heater right away. They did a great job and it's been working perfectly since. They took my call at 9:15 AM, got a guy to my house by 9:30, and by noon the job was complete! I couldn't believe how fast their response was and how soon everything was back to normal. By then the snow had started falling, so I was extremely grateful that they got the job done. My wife and I had just brought a new infant home and didn't want to lose hot water for the duration of the blizzard. I'm never going to another plumber for as long as I live here. They were fast, courteous, and cost about what I'd expect.

Dennis showed up within an hour of me calling. Our bathtub wouldn't drain as a result of a frozen pipe. He was able to fix the situation quickly and gave us some good ideas on how to prevent this particular pipe from freezing in the future. Professional, fast, responsive and affordable. Definitely will call again!

They are very experienced and skillful ,and they figured out the problems and fixed them quickly. They did excellent jobs and I will call them if I have any similar problems in the future. I recommended them highly to some friends already.

They responded to my request for an estimate very promptly. Installed my choice of new toilet and did all the rest of the plumbing very quickly for a fair price. I had requested a new toilet supply valve in the bathroom and when the plumber did the toilet install he missed replacing that one valve. When I called to tell them about the over site, they came over within one day and installed the new valve. The entire company, from the boss / estimator, to the office staff and plumbers were very polite and professional. I will use them again without hesitation.

Fantastic! I called Roscia's to install a water heater, because my tenant had no hot water. The service repairman within 24 hours, replaced the water heater and removed the old one. He was professional and efficient. He has my highest recommendation;)

We live in a multi-story condo building. My neighbor below us complained that there was water leaking onto her bathroom ceiling when we used our shower. The condo maintenance man and I did some tests and concluded that there was probably a leak in the water pipe from our master bath (versus from the tub drain or some other source). I called Roscia that day and they came out the next day. The plumber, "Frank," was on time, courteous, and pleasant to work with. He determined the control valve was leaking (he said it was common) and surmised that was the likely source of the water leaking behind the wall and down onto the unit below. he said the elbow that holds the shower head is also prone to leaks behind the wall (he showed me where) and replaced it as a precaution. He finished promptly (about 90 minutes or less, i think), and cleaned up. He and I ran a test and the neighbor said there was no water coming down. There have been no complaints since then.

I was pleased with everything. It was sort of an emergency situation and they came out the next day. They were clean, professional and did a good job. I would definitely use them again in the future.

My old water heater died and Roscia's was able to send a repairman to replace it within 24 hours. The repairman arrived within the scheduled time, and was very professional. Once he left, there was no sign he had been here except for the new water heater. I have already recommended Roscia's to friends. My only complaint is that they do not carry Energy Star rated water heaters (although they did offer to try to get one). I will definitely use them again.

They were pretty good. They came out and gave a good estimate. They came to work the day they told us they'll come to do the work and finished it in a pretty good time. It was a little expensive but I guess for them to come out at that time of the year and for the quality they provided I didn't have a problem.

From the beginning, the professionalism of Roscia's Plumbing was evident. They were punctual, worked hard, cleaned up each evening, and finished the job on time (or maybe even a day or two earlier than expected). Not only that, but the gas company was very difficult to reach to schedule the installation of the gas meters, and Roscia's Plumbing helped us with that effort as well. And when the gas company finally did their part, Roscia's Plumbing was able to come the very next day to get everything up and running. They went above and beyond what we expected. It was a true pleasure working with them and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a plumber without reservation. There was not one thing I would change about our experience with them.

I joined Angie's List because I am in need of professional services. I got a few estimates for the water heater. Spoke with Mr. Roscia , his price was in line with other estimates. I had requested a specific water heater. I was converting from propane to electric. Mr. Roscia was very personable. Next day, Andy and Dennis arrived at expected time and removed old tank and replaced with new one. They capped off propane tanks and disassembled gas line. I requested that they leave the copper, which they did, in a neat pile. Job was done timely and they cleaned up. I would use this company again.

Expertly done by Dennis Kruse. This is 3rd Roscia Plumbing project here, so felt confident redo of pipes and in-wall tank toilet would be done right first time. To quote my wife, "Roscia Plumbing is worth every penny".

It went great from first contact call to Pat coming over to having Arthur and Brian install. They were so quiet I didnt even hear them working! And after the water heater was installed - they had cleaned up everything! They also fixed a loose kitchen faucet before they left. They were just fantastic! I will definately be calling them again for any plumbing issue we have. They handled everything - it was the best plumbing experience I have had! And given that it started on the afternoon of a tropical storm that was hitting the area badly - this was a GREAT way to finish!

They are fast, they respond very, very quickly. The guys who work there are friendly, pleasant and very competent. They know exactly what they're doing. We had trouble with water in the basement that involved the water heater and they fixed it and the whole thing cost us practically nothing.

Overall, it was a great experience.

They were great. The overall work was excellent. They were great company in follow ups. They did everything that they said they were going to do. They were competitively priced. They were responsive and also followed up after the job was done. They did a good job. I would consider in using them for plumbing needs in the future. I would rate them high overall. I thought their price was little high but as equal to what others had quoted. My water heater was not working a week before Easter and when I called them they came and fixed it before Easter holidays. I would use them again in the future.

They came quickly. They encountered more problems than the guy that was here knew how to handle so they quickly sent another guy who handled it. I didn't even have to get involved in that. They've done several projects for us and they have always have somebody on hand that knows how to handle it.

They are great. They are very reliable and they really know what they are doing. They do everything super well.

Our 40 gallon natural gas hot water heater began to leak six months after the six year warrantee expired. I called for a quote on installation and removal. The representative was courteous and responded quickly with the above quote on a new model with an upgraded 10 year warrantee. Pat called and offered me the option between AO Smith or Bradford White at the same price. I stuck with Bradford White. While Roscia's wasn't the cheapest option (prices ranged between $919 and $1,295, the Roscia's plumbers were at my home a few hours later. They were clean, polite, professional, worked quietly and took the time to explain the operating instructions on the new model. I would use Roscia's again for our future plumbing and heating needs.

Pat Roscia, the owner, is a gruff man, but usually livable. A few times he's gone over the line into downright insults, but his worker Frank, is so sweet and competent that one can generally overlook Pat. However, recently Pat went over the edge. I asked Frank to adjust a shower valve, while fixing something else. I was not at home he did the work, but the next day the shower had gone from a nice, healthy stream of water to little more than a trickle. I called and reported this and was told that Pat would call me back. He didn't call. I called again the next morning, Pat answered and I said, "Oh good, I'm glad I reached you," and then relayed my problem again. To my amazement he growled, "Come on now!" I said "What? What do you mean by that?" He then repeated his "Come on now" and added that my problem was "picayune". I angrily told him he was disrespecting me to which he responded that it was I-not he- that was raising my voice! Suddenly we were having an etiquette contest! Then he delivered the penultimate put-down, namely "Did I realize that there were people who had no heat and here I was complaining about a soft shower!" I hadn't realized that he favored a sliding scale of plumbing, which could be summed up as, "Don't bother me unless your pipes have burst and you're knee deep in water!" He also insisted that Frank had not done anything in my shower. The next day, I got a bill for work on the shower! Whereupon I dove right into Angie's List where I quickly found a very pleasant and competent replacement, who came right on time, restored my shower to its former glory and whose prices were in line with Roscia's. As for my relationship with my previous plumber, I'm afraid that's all down the drain!
