About us

Roscia’s Plumbing and Heating, Inc was established in 1972 by Patrick Roscia, who was born and raised in Dedham, MA. Pat learned the plumbing trade from his father, Anthony, who worked for him for 2 years. Pat received his Masters in Plumbing in 1976 and began working for a handful of local Dedham residents. Over the past 39 years, Pat has continued to service the Dedham area and his client base has expanded greatly thanks to mostly word of mouth. Pat is proud of his long time crew who includes Artie (32 years), Tom (27 years), Frank (27 years), son-in-law Dennis (master plumber, 9 years), Vinny (15 years), Joe (7), and Pat’s youngest daughter Jill (5 years) works as the office manager. Extra charge for after hours service. Same day water heater replacements. $15.00 discount on any water heater replacement. Award winning.

Description of Work: Roscia's is great. I've had them in the past and will continue to use them. They are very responsive and professional and do great work. | |On this visit, I called them late on a Sunday evening when I discovered a copper hot water pipe leaking from 5 places! I shut the water off, and they came first thing Monday morning. Easy :-)

Description of Work: I had broken water pipes in my basement. They installed valves so that the broken pipes could be isolated and the water to the rest of the house could be turned back on. The plumbers will be back when the weather is better and replace the broken pipes. 2 plumbers came about 2 hours after I called and were very responsive and did exactly what I asked them to do. Said they would come back at a later date to replace the pipes when I was ready. Will use this company again and would definitely recommend them to others.

Description of Work: Called Roscia's to get an estimate on replacing a dishwasher, capping a vent from an extra second floor kitchen that we converted to a normal room, and move some piping into a closet. Pat was great, very friendly and gave me info on various options. I also liked that he was local (we live in Dedham also.) We are only at the beginning of budgeting for this work but the pricing seemed reasonable and we plan to revisit using Roscias when the time comes to start the work.

Very responsive; knowledgeable; helpful; prompt; courteous. Bid came in too high; $775 more for same work and type of water heater from another company. I discussed the discrepancy in price with them, but they felt their price was fair and did not adjust it. In spite of this, I would contact them again. Owner who was out of town followed up with me when he returned. But we already had job completed by another plumbing and heating company.
Description of Work: Needed an indirect fired water heater replaced that was leaking; somewhat of an urgent situation.

Pat Roscia came out to do an estimate for the work before we signed the P&S. He was very professional, prompt and helpful. Then his crew came back to do the job, and they were great! The work was done on time. They were really friendly, professional guys.
Description of Work: We bought a fixer-upper, and needed a new gas boiler, plus some plumbing work (capping defunct exhaust pipe, changing dryer exhaust tubing, replacing corroded sink pipe & and adding a radiator).

They were on time, called before they came (like they said they would), were very nice and reasonably priced. Also, I got their name from Angie's List and called them because they are close. Also, I originally had called Sears and they couldn't come for almost a week. They came the next day.

They are easy to get along with. The owner comes out on many of the jobs to supervise and everything goes very well. They are very good to work with and are very nice people. We have an old house with old plumbing, and we've always been very pleased with them.

I was having trouble finding anyone to help me. I called them one afternoon and they installed the water heater I wanted the next morning. The price was very fair. I was amazed that he actually did come the next morning and did exactly what he said he would do. I have nothing but high praise for him.

THEY WERE CONSIDERATE ABOUT THE TIMING OF DISCONNECTING OUR OLD APPLIANCES AND RECONNECTING THE NEW ONES SO THAT WE WEREN'T WITHOUT FUNCTIONING APPLIANCES FOR MORE THAN A 1/2 DAY ON EACH END. WORK WAS DONE EFFICIENTLY, AND IMPROVEMENTS TO THE OUTDATED DRYER CONNECTIONS WERE MADE TO MAKE THE WHOLE SET UP SAFER. RUN OF THE MILL JOB, BUT IT WAS DONE SMOOTHLY SO IT DIDN'T BECOME A BIGGER DEAL THAN IT NEEDED TO BE.
