Initial work permits formed seemed to be done well, but the problem returned about a month later. So clearly they didn't fix it right the first time.

Great. Tico and his crew diagnosed my sewer problem quickly and accurately, and then fixed it. They came prepared and had averything at hand to do this: camera probe, above-ground camera location sensor, high pressure line, a 100 gallon waste tank in their truck, etc. .. even a metal detector to look for a buried clean-out. They opened the waste stack, pumped out the line, moved the blockage, cleaned out roots, and visually inspected the entire line to determine its condition. Friendly, clear and communicative throughout. They even offered me a discount on a colonoscopy. I highly recommend.

Can't say enough about Hercules Drain Co. Trying to get my sewage line repaired had been a massive headache. When I contacted Hercules, Tico and his crew came out that night (Thursday), diagnosed the issue and had the job completed by 10am Tuesday. His crew was extremely polite and respectful, on-time, very affordable, and the work and clean up were done quickly, efficiently, and thoroughly. Literally can't say enough about the job they did. If you have a problem, call them.

They were on time and were less expensive than a couple of others that I had found.

I cannot say enough good things about Hercules C&G. First of all, Tico, who manages it, provided a correct analysis of the problem which another drain company and plumber didn't want to take on because of the risks of far more extensive work. A different drain company worked to clear out the blockage a month earlier, for twice the money Hercules charged, and didn't even fix the problem. Thank God for Hercules! Tico answered all questions fully and patiently. Manny, who was in charge of the job, Rico, and Brandon worked quickly, and within an hour were able to get the camera scope through the sewer line out to the street. They quickly found the problem: a large clump of tree roots, removed it, and replaced the corroded cast iron pipe with PVC. At one point, they had the pipe open in the basement, after they had told the two families in the two units of the house not to turn on any water while they were working. My family strictly adhered to this necessary requirement, but the man in the other unit bizarrely turned on water, causing 5-10 minutes of water pouring out onto the basement floor from this open pipe and creating a huge flood several inches deep. The Hercules people carried and dumped outside around 20 huge buckets of water, and used a wet shop vac to clean up the mess. Then, they didn't even charge for this extra 45 minutes of work! Amazing. We tested the pipes, and there were no leaks or problems anywhere. The PVC looks terrific--now we just have to get the area cleaned up and the walls and baseboards replaced, and we'll be set for the next 50 years! Thanks, Tico and Hercules!

We called them on a Saturday, left a VM and heard back right away. They gave us a 2-hour window and Danny arrive right at the end of that window. Danny was very nice and knowledgeable. We explained what had happened, he took a look at the sink and asked to see the basement. He immediately identified what was wrong, got his tools and started working. He protected the area so everything was clean when he left, he answered all of our numerous questions, was smiling and in a good mood, despite working all day on a Saturday. Service was quick and effective, Price was fair.. We were 100% satisfied.

My washing machine was backing up. I called Hercules and within an hour of my call, Manny showed up. We proceeded to the basement, Manny asked a few diagnostic questions and correctly determined that the problem was outside the house. He opened the small access manhole just outside the foundation and began snaking out the pipe with an 100 ft electric router. He did this procedure over and over until the cable came back with no roots wrapped around it. He replaced the manhole cover and the dirt which covered it and cleaned the area around it. Throughout the procedure, he clearly explained what he was doing and why. Everything's working fine now. I could not have asked for more responsive, effective and professional service nor a fairer price. This is a terrific company that I recommend without reservation.

Another drain company tried to snake the mainline, and when they failed (after charging me $200), I was left on the day before Thanksgiving with a non-functioning mainline drain. Tico from C&G came within 2 hours of my call, and though it was the holiday weekend and my situation required locating and digging out the broken trap, my problem was completely solved with truly no fuss. The work was done beautifully, everything works now, I have a new cleanout for future use, my house and property are all cleaned up, and they were great about working around my schedule. For all the work, I think the price was more than reasonable. I can't say enough about how grateful I am for Tico's professionalism and skill.

Each time we've had them come they have been on time, explained exactly what they were going to do, did the work, cleaned up any mess and explained everything that had been done. The technician answers questions and offers advice on how to prevent problems too. We will have them back every year, and whenever else there is a problem with the sewer.

This company is fantastic! I called many contractors and have dealt with many in the past. This was an exceptional experience. These guys showed up when promised for both the quote as well as the job; to the minute, and were professional throughout. Their pricing is fair and they do a great job explaining what is going on. This provider was recommended to us by Tony (Drain Flow) who assessed problem initially by doing video inspection of the pipe. Tico collected the DVD disc containing Tony's video and confirmed that the pipe can be relined rather than excavated. He arrived conveniently for us on Saturday morning with his team, disconnected the pipe such that we were able to cook and use the bathroom while they worked. Work took several hours and when the polymer hardened they connected the pipe back fixing at the same time another broken part of the pipe on the basement side. Work was done very efficiently and Tico's men cleaned everything when they finished. We were thrilled to be able to avoid excavation and have all the work done so quickly and in a timely fashion. We would happily recommend Tico and his team to our neighbors

The plumber showed up a bit past when I was expecting him but took less than 1 minute to figure out the problem. I had thought it was the main drain based on input from another plumber over the phone, but he quickly determined it was not the main drain and went to work to fix it. He could not get to it through the sink drain so sent into the basement where he soon unclogged it. He was cheerful and very expert. He even did a bit of cleanup on the downstairs bathroom floor which the overflow had messed up. Price and quality of work were excellent. I would definitely call them again or recommend them to friends and family for drain problems.

The service guy was punctual, clean, and quick. We've used them over the past 3-4 years. They say they would put us on a maintenance reminder list to send us a postcard every time, but to date we still have not received a reminder. This would be a useful thing to get though. | |We had an issue in a prior job with miscommunication on pricing, where an earlier camera-assisted sewer main clean-out job was taking longer than originally anticipated by them. They however neglected to inform me that it would cost more than originally quoted until after the job was completed. We reconciled amicably with a reduced bill, and we still continue to plan to use their services.

I appreciate that they were able to schedule on the same day. The office manager was friendly and called me to explain a delay in arrival due to an issue with an earlier call. When the staff member arrived, he identified the problem and partially cleared the drain but with his tools couldn't go further. He called for assistance and with the high pressure water jet, they were able to clear it. This blockage has likely been building up for several weeks. They are recommending that we do a camera view of the inside of the terra cotta drain to see how many additional tree roots there are and whether it makes sense to reline. Appreciated the professional approach and that our problem was solved quickly. The price would have been less if they didn't need to call for the high pressure water jet. This provider was recommended by my plumber, who had worked on the problem the day before but when it recurred, said he didn't have the equipment to clear a drain and said he had referred customers to Hercules Cand G Drain for 4 years and had found them reliable.

Other contractors told us we needed to replace our entire sewer lateral (you don't want to know). Chico and his men were able to do a more careful inspection and jetting and determined that, with regular annual cleaning, our system will be fine. The costs- $700 vs $12,500.

Call was made to Hercules at 9:45 AM after failed attempt by myself at unclogging our kitchen sink drain. By 10:30, they were at our house and on the job. They quickly analyzed the issue and routed out my clogged, which was 15 feet down the pipe. They also discovered that my vent (the pipe you see on your roof that allows sewer gases and relieves system pressure) was completely clogged with debris and was not even attached to our house system. This issue was fixed within 20 minutes and the whole visit took under an hour. Very clean work, could not even tell that they had been here. Great job, Tico, Nat and Danny!

Called Cand G yesterday when I realized the main sewer line in the house was blocked (recognized the symptoms from previous experience,) Made an appointment for this morning from 9-11. Two men showed up a 9:05, did the job, and left at 10:40. Danny was very professional. He explained why I should schedule an appointment to have the "house trap" (which is no longer necessary as every drain today has its own trap) removed, which will allow them do clean with a larger blade the next time this happens. I have used Cand G several times in the past for this and other plumbing needs and have always been supremely pleased with their work and professionalism.

There is nothing worse than standing water when you are trying to take a shower. Hercules tech investigated the cause, explained that the way the old pipes were plumbed would make it difficult to get the snake down the drain and made it happen. As a novice, I really appreciated the thorough explanation he gave which helped me visualize the system and the problem. He took the time to answer my probably stupid questions, and the price was right. I would definitely recommend Hercules to others.

I like to do all the handy"woman" stuff I can- but my clogged bathroom sink defeated me. I conceded and called Cand G Hercules Drain Co. based on Angie's list reviews and location close to me. They were out ASAP, showed up at 10:15 (allotted time was a 10-12 window) and finished in a professional and clean manner. I strongly recommend them and will keep their card for any future need I might have.

We called them at 10:30 am on New Year's Eve, and they were there in an hour with 3 guys. Another company had told us that we needed a front yard excavation for a collapsed pipe, which was going to cost $9200. C and G realized that the other company was actually hitting a trap, which is supposed to be in the pipe, and they would have excavated for no real reason. The actual clog was somewhere else, which took some hard labor to get to (breaking through part of a basement wall because it was past a T joing). Unlike the other plumbing company, they have the ability to scope the pipe with a camera before making claims about needing an expensive excavation. They said that they get calls like this a few times a week, and 99% of the time they can get it unclogged without an excavation. They unclogged the pipe for about $325, which allowed us to use our pipe again. Had it been a simpler clog, they said it would have been about $175. They will come on tuesday and replace the pipe properly and patch up the basement. Overall, they were extremely knowledgeable, hard-working, honest, punctual, and professional - all on New Year's Eve! I can't say enough about this company and will definitely use them again.

Cand G's great tech came, assessed, fixed without taking the speedy way out, which would have been messy, slow, and destructive to the pipe. Explained he problem, the solution, and then executed it. On top of it, a very nice guy who was prompt and polite.

Cand G is amazing — my drain has never been cleaner, and I'll definitely call them the next time I need any plumbing work. (sorry, regular plumber!) Price was a little on the high side for the time spent, but they are a specialty service and in the end, it was worth it to get my drain cleared so well.

They called us back quickly, set up a convenient time, and actually came when they said they would. They were courteous, efficient, effective, and reasonably priced. I couldn't have been happier!

They arrived promptly on time. They could not fix the outside drain-- but that was not their problem. It had to do more with the drain itself. It turns out it is not a real drain--more like a dry well. But they did make some excellent suggestions on how to alleviate the drainage problems.
