Description of Work: When they showed up to do the estimate, they worked with the speed of a Formula 1 pit crew and I watched video camera output from their probe that they fed out of my basement to explore my lateral pipe connecting to the city sewer line. It had been determined by the Boston Water and Sewer Commission that sewage was leaking out of my lateral connection. By the way, the video clearly showed the tree root invasions at several places that were causing the problem. The homeowner in Boston owns the lateral connection from the home foundation all the way to the sewer. So Hercules, which is an approved contractor for the BWS, suggested the installation of an epoxy liner to repair my lateral connecting pipe which can be done without costly excavation. They did the job exactly on time and on estimate. I will use these guys in the future without hesitation and heartily recommend them!

Description of Work: They were at my house early, in fact they beat me there. They got right down to business and had my drains cleaned out in about 20 minutes. They cleaned up after themselves and the price was a lot better than I expected.

+ -1 moreC&G Hercules quoted a fixed rate $90 lower than anyone else, so I went with them based on price and rave reviews on Angie's List. They came today (same day) at the time they said they would, with a crew of three delightful, incredibly respectful guys. Rick knows his stuff down pat, Thad is the most polite guy I've met, and Nikko we so pleasant. They had the right equipment, including a Sawz-All to cut through the rusted cap, a powered snake, and dye that I flushed when they were done to confirm the system was working properly. Because they had to cut, they had to charge me $10 for a new cap. I'd imagine others would charge $40! Start to finish, the job took about an hour. C&G/Hercules is everything I look for in a vendor: good quality, fast service, great pricing, and easy to work with.
Description of Work: We had a clogged drain pipe causing water to back up into the lowest bathroom and overflow. Very high "Gross!" factor. I consulted Angie's List, my renovation contractor, his plumber, my plumber, Roto Rooter, and WindRiver Environmental (who pumped our system out).

+ -1 moreI am happy with how timely they are and the fact that they do good work. I have also used them to put a camera down there and see if I needed a whole new main line and they looked and I did not. I felt they were very honest when doing that.
Description of Work: They cleaned out the main drain line for my house and did some general maintenance on it. They are clogged up by a lot of tree roots.
