"After a significant water loss from a leaking hot water pipe, Clean Care was dispatched to our home by our insurance carrier. One person just showed up without any notice contradicting how we were told the process would work. He came in and surveyed the damage that was primarily in the crawl space. He then presented my wife (who is an attorney) with multiple contractual documents stating that Clean Care would have direct and sole authority to perform not only remediation work that we needed but rights to the needed renovation work to return the property to original condition. They also tried to require that any funds distributed by our insurance carrier immediately be surrendered to them. Another required document by them claimed sole power of attorney over all matters regarding the loss and authorization to have direct contact and receive any information from our carrier and mortgage company. The company representative then became angry and aggressive towards my wife when she wouldn’t sign for anything other than the remediation work, telling her that the forms were just industry standard. Make of that what you will but I’ve been a trades professional for 30 years and this is what low quality outfits do to ensure profits from people that don’t know better. I’d stay as far away from them as possible."
