Workers were on-time, efficient, neat, courteous and provided excellent service.

Cranney was terrific! They installed a whole new heating and air conditioning system, with a new Mitsubishi heat pump to heat and cool a large game room that had no ducting. They were professional, showed up on time and we were consistently happy with their work. 6 months ago, we took out their warranty package and just 2 weeks after receiving our warranty, the water heater virtually exploded - at 9pm on a Friday night. We used their emergency call number and they had a new water heater installed at 9am the next morning. We will continue to use them!

Cranney Home Services is one of the best contractors I've used, and I've used many. They are professional, friendly and go above an beyond to make sure the customer is happy. I originally used them to fix my outside hose faucet. Frank came and introduced himself, asked if there was anything else he could help me with before he got started. He took a look at the filter for my pool and gave me some excellent advise on what I needed to do to get it up an running properly. I was so impressed with his service that I scheduled a follow up visit from one of their electricians to repair an underground electrical wire from my house to a lantern. This wire was in my front yard several feet under the grass so they had to dig up the grass and mulch. By the time they left, you wouldn't even have known they were there. The grass and mulch were put back exactly as it was before they made the repair. The also ran into a problem with a bees nest in my lantern and took the time to remove the nest. I cannot say enough about the service I received from Cranney Home Services. They are expensive, but sometimes it's better to pay the extra money and have the piece of mind that the job will be done right and be assured that it will be a hassle & stress free transaction. No complaints. It was a long time ago, so I don't really remember too many of the details. Angie's List has been spamming me for the last year and a half to write a review, so that's why I am putting one in now...

It went very well. We have always been happy with them. They have been very good. They are always very courteous in certain ways and prompt. I haven’t done a lot of cost comparison, but they are probably good and certainly not like they have been overcharging. They are very responsive. They call back quickly and also come out quickly. They come when they say they will. We have never had any concerns about them at all.

Frank arrived when scheduled and he called me when he was 10 minutes away. He surveyed the situation and I went immediately up Angie's list. An hour or so later the job was completed. Frank has been to our house before because I will deal with no other provider if it concerns heating, plumbing, etc...I have never met a company that 100% Feels the customer must be satisfied when a job is finished. Plumber found some minor leaks in the utility room and recommended the repair. These were close to the electrical panel and could have caused a major issue later on. He then priced the job and took care of the issues the same afternoon.

I called just to schedule someone to come out and provide an estimate for creating duct work leading outside for the bathroom fan. I was told that it would be $49 for a plumber to come out and give an estimate. I told the phone operator that I did not require a plumber for this and that I would not pay for someone to come and tell me how much I need to pay them.

The job was terrific and they are great. They had a good customer service and help me understand everything that was going on. After they did the installation they gave us tutorials to make us understand how it worked.

This group is a group I will continue to have back. Not only did they do the job, when the guy found out we were members of Angie's list he told us we were eligible for some coupons. And then took the amount off right then and there. He took his time, asked questions, included us in the step by steps. All in all, we truly feel this will be our go to place and has been the place we recommend when someone is looking for someone. When we made the initial appointment an emergency for them came up. We were called immediately and offered a choice of three alternate dates and times. That's not something you see often in today's businesses...customer service. This organization is A+++++ in our opinion.

Called on a Sunday night, they called me back about 12 hours later to schedule a same day service appt. I was thrilled. We had to turn our water off otherwise we'd have Niagara Falls in our back yard. So frank and his assistant max came and replaced the outside faucet. We could have done the cheaper route, but after talking to frank, we decided it was better to just replace the whole thing. Sooo glad that we did. Frank was great and explained everything really well. I would totally use them again! Thanks!

He found it was merely loose bolts and fixed them. As always, the arrived on time and were very courteous and knowledgeable.

There was one technician here doing the work and scheduling was fine. I sensed the special was there to get rid of obsolete inventory. They put in an undersized handle and they said that is all they had. I had never seen a handle that small for an outdoor hose faucet.

The man who did the assessment was knowledgeable and friendly. The folks who came and did the work were very professional. There were no surprises and everything went smoothly.

We had a plumbing problem on late at night on a Sunday and they were able to send out someone to our house that night which was convenient. It's kind of expensive and the prices were unclear what their prices was actually was. I thought that price had a binder but it was kind of expensive, it changed a little bit.

I've used Cranney over the past two years for various things but primarily to do my yearly service of furnace and water heater. Even though they are pricey, I was always pleased with their work/service. However, I called them the other day to schedule someone to come out and check my furnace because it was making a strange noise that was getting louder and louder. Not exactly what you want to hear when the forecast is in the single digits for the next week or more. The woman on the phone refused to send someone out because I did not have a service contract with them. From what I understood when they tried to sell me this policy it was optional. I guess they don't value repeat customers if you don't sign up for a contract with them. I'm a loyal consumer and thought they could be a service provider for me for the next 50 years i'm in my house but I will certainly be taking my business elsewhere.

HVAC system in home. System was overpriced. Home is not uniformly warm or cool due to their design errors (b/c they wanted to save $ and cut corners).

It went fantastic. There was a leak, but it ended up being the pipe that feeds to my outside faucet. The tech shut the water off to that pipe, gave us an estimate to replace that section, turned the water back on and we were all set. He was very nice, and very professional. I will definitely have them do the work.

I called them and scheduled an appointment over the phone after seeing their review on Angies list.. They arrived on time on the day of the appointment. I explained what I wanted completed and they gave me a couple of estimates based upon the types of valves I wanted installed. Basically, they needed to replace the cold water valve to my washer including about a foot of piping as well as move my hot water piping over a foot and replace the valve. I went with one valve that controls both the hot and cold water. I also asked if they could support the pipes better than they were currently. They completed all the work within a couple of hours and it looked good and I have not had any issues since the installation. I believe that they are kind of pricey and that is my only complaint. I will probably use them again because I rather pay more, have someone I trust, and have it done right than not to have it done right to save a few bucks. They do charge a fee for someone to come to your house. I think a good business practice would be to waive this fee if the customer decides to have the work completed.

It went great. They did a great job.

Arrived on time for scheduled appointment. Took faucet apart and went to look in truck for replacement washer. After long search in truck it was reported that the necessary washer could only be found back at headquarters. I said that the faucet was one of the most common on the market, but back to HQ he went. Returned two hours later and installed the washer in 5 minutes. Spent another 10 minutes polishing the hardware. Charged us $316.00 for one washer and ten minutes of labor.

Could not be more pleased with the work and how quickly I got an appointment from the time I contacted them. Work was done quickly, neatly and to my complete satisfaction. Before work was completed I was shown exactly what would be done and why. Then I was shown completed work. Tested everything before Justin left. Would not hesitate to use Cranney again.

Finding mouse-eaten wiring in outside compressor, worker gave pro/con with pricing re: new or attempt to rework. Reworking was successful and cost-effective. Soft sell for yearly plan but no inordinate or offensive pressure. Worker did his job to push higher pricing and yearly plan, but engendered confidence and trust by allowing me to opt for cheaper way out, and worker successfully completed work necessary. This would incline me to use them in the future if/when needed because of honesty.
